  1. If that's the way everyone feels then this game is dead in my eyes and will soon be in the eyes of steam users if the current bad reviews continue. But hey they already have our money, just another No Mans Sky I guess.
  2. I have played enough Sandbox, and MMO's to know a thing or two, but if you start fact checking instead of blindly defending each other you would know tha the game is dying and I am merely trying to demonstrate that the player base is moving on to games that do not constantly wipe progress. I can understand if you wipe my progress after a month in the name of progress but waiting a whole year???? FYI who said that I have not been part of this game from the beginning???? just because your looking at my posts on the forums. Hmmm I wonder what that says about you sir. I tell you what, If ALL the Devs and I mean ALL the Devs were to reply to my post and say that this was the original idea for the game then I would shut up, until then I will not just sit back and allow something I love to be destroyed. Oh and YES my time is valuable, you would nothing but a Hypocrite to think otherwise, unless you are inciting that my money is not good enough to have a say. As for Perma death perhaps thats not a bad idea as I am also a founder of Star Citizen and do not fear a Challenge.
  3. The "Alpha" excuse was used in games like DayZ, Evolve, the list goes on, tell me where those games are today. Dead the answer is dead. the thing that i can not believe is that passionate players like yourself can sit back and accept this as the only answer to the dying player base, when we have other options like new content. If we take a page from popular MMO's like EVE and many others is that content needs to be interesting instead of constantly changing. Also this Instance for fights BS does not work why not go the Eve way where the world is the instance not being pulled into a fight. these are viable options to saving the game not wiping every time things seem not go our way.
  4. Even though I agree, with that sentiment I still feel that my ships could be refunded and the mods can be refunded in the form of gold, but just blatantly wiping months of work with not even as much as a hint of any refund is unethical to say the least. Plus go and take a good look at the latest Steam reviews coming in, people say that those that disagree with Devs, etc get silenced, the game is on the verge of loosing a vast majority of its player base and yet here we are lets just reset everything. go and have a look read the recent reviews.
  5. This is BS why not refund me my ships or give the new variants of what ever I had previously, but stop wasting my valuable time. the problem is that he Devs think that they can just slap "Alpha" in front of everything and that gives them the right to use and abuse as they see fit without taking their players into consideration. My time is Valuable and the fact that I bought and took the time to play this game is a privilege the Devs seem to overlook. this the reason why newer games like Blackwake are more popular, the constant changes to mechanics and game-play and the constant threat of wipes will be the death of Naval Action as a whole.
  6. I don't understand why the ships need to be wiped? So your telling me that you are unable to rewrite the code of the older models without costing players their hard earned ships? or you are unable to refund players for the ships and modules lost? Has the constant bad decisions not cost the game enough players already? I mean when you log in and there are 200 players online???? sure the game does not appeal to everyone but 200 players total where the game use to be in excess of 800 at any given moment.... But hey its all good we will just reset all the hours players have spent on the game, cause who cares right? This a great way to kill an already dwindling player base... and before you hardcore players tell me how wrong I am, please consider how boring our game will be if everyone decides that the game is no longer worth it... Also look at games like DayZ and Evolve, both dead despite Dev's best efforts to revive them and it was because of BS like this.
