Amazing article which was constructed perfectly! I too hope you keep these stories coming.
The current hostilities PB setup is restricting most clans from protecting KPR but players who are up there do tend to help the new players out but most clans are scattered around the map.

SLRN have been around for ages (some say even before before NA was developed!) I have seen members of SLRN in many battles over the last year and for those wishing to join their ranks, you cannot go wrong.
Nice to see them staying strong and a force to reckon with on the seas o7... If your looking for strong Leadership, experienced combat commanders and naval skill give SLRN a go!

Ingermanland is very old Ship of the Line... actually its so old, that if it was British ship, it would be not in use after 1750... its armament is approximately similar to 50-60gun 4-rate Ships of the Line British used in early 18.century, like for example famous HMS Centurion, 60gun Ship of the Line, flagship of Commodore Anson, future first lord of Admiralty, man who was behind switch for larger 74gun doubledeckers like Bellona... HMS Centurion after that famous voyage was rebuilt to a 50gun doubledecker, and fought at battle of Finisterre, which btw was won by Anson.
From technical point of view, if you would put Ingermanland or Centurion into fight with Constitution, they would not stand a chance 1 on 1... their hull was much weaker, while construction was not as sturdy as much more modern Constitution had..
Well the Ingermanlad was broken up in 1750, as stated in my image above... But no matter what age... no matter what others are claiming she was a 3rd rate!

It has two decks. The top deck does not count as a deck. Only second and first rates are considered three deckers.
It's pretty simple, ship of the line means strong enough to stand in line of battle. weakest ship considered a ship of the line in the early 19th century was a 74. Therefore, the term ship of the line changes over time.
You like twisting things but as you failed to notice the Three Decks was reference to the information proving it was a Ship of the Line.... I see you therefore are a troll or someone who fails to click links to prove your argument non valid.
Here save you the job of looking at it as we know you wont.
Clearly stating the Ingermanland is a Ship of the line and a 3rd Rate.... next argument or troll response please?

As a battlewagon the HMS Dreadnought revolutionized naval warfare but it was nowhere near the equivalent of a WWII Iowa class battlewagon whose keel was laid only three and a half decades later. Whatever you choose to call her, it was her design differences that were the relevant distinction, not the label.
No really, what your trying to tell me is the same as if you were to dress a pig up in a dress and call it your girlfriend it would still be a pig no matter what you put on it. So because she was old and out dated compared to the Connie... she was still a ship of the line no matter what you want to dress her in.

A 4th rate is not a ship of the line in the early 19th century anymore.
Bommel, Constitution used to be 6700 iirc. So his question remains correct. If a bit irrelevant because values get changed all the time.

Yeah I forgot a Super Frigate designed to beat anything it was classed against and smaller and run away from threats of SoL... now the devs have made the Connie better than a SoL Inger.... Faster more Armour and what more HP as well?

Hey woody, thanks for the apology, I respect you have wrote this and it reflects highly in a positive way for SLRN and yourself.
I remember Chat was rather toxic from both parties but I suppose that is the reflection of both clans defending parties from each others clans.

Amazing you bleat on about how terrible I am but I have never gone onto SGS and wrote such childish things. This is a game not reality! Rather a bad image for SGS clan what your doing yet I have always posted positive things and bumped SGS clan lol.. Grow up.

I fought alongside Ausez and have nothing but the greatest respect for all bar one of their membership.
The person that doesn't have my respect is known as a turncoat who has been in three separate clans in almost as many months and to be honest I find it hard to believe that Ausez take him seriously. I won't mention any names but first he was in St Georges Squadron, then went to Sink and then went to Ausez and I believe he may have played quite a part in bringing about what has happened.
As for the rest of Ausez who have gone pirate, I'm sorry to see that, had many fun moments such as removing Spanish cutters from a from a Frigate by using a Snow to ram and shoot them while the Frigate got clear, was that you Jager?
Anyway, I wish you guys luck.

I wanted a PVP not a clan of AI fleet bashes.. hence I left SGS.
I joined SINK yes.. and the reasons I left them is between myself and Telfer mainly due to the inactivity of the clan prevented me from PVPing.
I joined AUSEZ... yes.. what is your point? If your claiming I made everyone in AUSEZ leave the clan then your as delusional as your post makes you.
Enjoy your exceptional ship I gave you and the hours wasted as a "Friend" in game just to try naming an shaming but as I have explained in my reply to you... not even worth the memory slot of these forums nor your time to even post such flaming material.

To be honest the toxicity in brit nation chat just melted away since certain members of AUSEZ left which has mad it a much nicer place.
I had a long chat with Fasti the other night and tried to find out why the move into perspective and learned a couple of things.
The fall out with the British Council happened over a period of time and was a result of various things culaminating with the deal or proposed deal AUSEZ had with Sorry regards to bay of Mexico.
I won't go into detail as I may not know all the component parts but suffice to say the British council heard about this deal not from the AUSEZ themselves but via another player, AUSEZ were called to task about it and got hot under the collar because as they see it they were being ridiculed over it especially by the aforementioned player.
I dare say that if the AUSEZ leadership had come to the council and said to the council that we have this in the melting pot before the aforementioned player spilled the beans then everything might have been received a bit better but instead tempers flared this resulted in some very colourful language Un repeatable but I will leave that up to your imagination.
This was the straw that broke the camels back.
With reference to the AUSEZ claim about not getting enough pvp I am sorry that really just does not wash with me how long have we been fighting Spain in the Conttoy Muegres area and you only had to buy a flag in the Corrientes area and you would get all the pvp you ever wanted.
It's lovely to get others perception on the matter even if it's hearsay only.
The reasons we have left is clearly stated in the AUSFC recruitment thread but in all respect your clan did not assist or show any sign of commitment other than that of your own goals and crusades against the Danes.
Regarding your statement about Brit chat, yes there is a member of AUSFC who despises you and your clan returns the feeling to him. That is clearly a problem between you and him however for Woody to claim I went through your recruitment and failed 24 hours into it, I would really like to hear more about as I have never applied let alone investigated anything to be part of SLRN. Could you kindly produce this evidence or get Woody to retract his global chat accusation?
AUSFC left after all the combat clans in the area pulled back to PR, leaving us with a Journalist led clan and care bear trading clans. GNF were the only real support in the area but totally different time zones.
Regarding the communication with SORRY, yes we were and I was personally in regards to the ports. At that time we did not want Spain getting them for free from SORRY. I was communicating with our new brothers in arms but before we got anything concrete to present to the British Council, what was the need to report anything back? At the end of the day we were the most active threat in the area and the largest clan therefore as a Diplomat it was my duty to deal with diplomacy which would have affected our clan not the interests of the rest of the Council doing there joint crusade and failing in Haiti.
Have ROS (Now RON) clan spy on us presenting what was not even facts amazed me. I kept all clans in the area aware of what I was discusing, ROS,GNF and VVV so it was insulting that he went running his mouth off without facts to try and tar us. typical journalist? SLRN presenting an invasion plan against the Spanish to all clans but AUSEZ was the last straw but you can thank Woody for disclosing that with the Journalist who then informed us. You guys would have stirred up a hornets nest and like in Haiti pulled back to PR and left AUSEZ alone in this region to deal with the storm alone.
Leaving the major clan out of your planning and attack was an insult for how long we have been on the front line and support defenses and attacks.
These was the reason of us leaving Britain so there you have it from the horses mouth as the saying goes, nothing what you claim in your statement. Why did we choose Pirates? Well they offered us help setting up and to be honest the current changing of nations mechanics is a lot more easier than that of another nation say France or Sweden. So the logical choice to stay with all our mats cash and ship BP's was the reason we turned black. Pirates is a broken mechanic as the game stands and we are enjoying it a lot more because of it and we can see clearly why everyone jumps to the pirate faction.

At least SGS has worked together whit AUSEZ for long time, i have talked everyday whit EWO when he was there. We looked up on you guys alot, we respected you guys. We even operate on the same ports. Now that you are pirates i know you want capture these ports, therefore i have no other choice that fight you and keep you as enemies.
Well I have been talking with Henry about how not to make much trouble for SGS but after your words posted here... I think all negotiations will end here and therefore war will be accepted as per your request.

Just to end the rumors,
Yes we are working alongside SORRY and helping them finish what they started up north. This does not mean that we are serving SORRY no more than they are going to help us take the fight south.
I have worked with SORRY for a few fights now and I respect there game play and skill which if you have been lucky to witness is impressive.
I speak with SORRY guys daily and have not been on the receiving end of hostilities or bullying, we chose to move because the British Council was ignoring our requests and then decided to abandon us to settle there crusade east that failed.
Pirate Nation is broken so yes we are enjoying it as it still stands and hopefully what we are doing and our allies will show that it really needs fixing...

With it being rank 4 now with the Connie will it receive 4 duras or will it remain 3?
I noticed this as I was unable to put another Ingermanland on sale as it said it wasn't premium, damaged or lost a dura.

Hello,
Yesterday I became the proud owner of this beautiful ship which was sold 3/3 duras.
I Have sailed her and not sunk at all but after today's patch she is now rank 4 but mine is still showing only 3 duras.
Is this problem happening to any other owners?
I submitted an F11 report but since we do not get feedback from them just wondering if other owners are in the same position.

I completely agree with what Lord Vicious has stated. The current meta for PB is SH Eggs and Bacon for 4th rate battles and yes we might get 3 choices for Line ship battles but it's boring and stale only having 2 PB by a nation active.
Screeners get 0 rewards for being an important aspect of a port battle which is a shame, they do not have something like a capture circle outside the PB to participate in the outcome of the battle and get rewards like the 25 players in the battle.
The devs really need to sort something out where all the 4th rates get an equal chance to play and be effective.
