  1. Iin this case there should be given a alliance option or a opt out option for that particular alliance that option should be made in the first place then by devs (what also been discussed way back in posts [EVE option but seemingly not the route dev would go ])
  2. yes a good point perhaps a other restricting solution comes in mind>> like a timer on the same back and forth same port ...( dynamic behaviour ) where you can think that a port cost (lets say 500 dubs) the first time>> and the second time it cost 25.000 dubs within a month ? but its just a thought. overall a complicated issue ps: come to think of it it also prevents: big nations >> to do the same port every 2 days (like the carthagena full retard attacks >>for over 2 months every 2 days...(what on itself is a weird event also>> to drain a (smaller) nation )
  3. well in the old game days you need to buy a flag >> @admin to overcome certain problems with hostility ( amongst collaborating nations /clans with a interest of cheating and misuse a mechanic for their own profit) you always can think of paying for the hostility missions (permitted wise from the ruling government) i think it is not such a bad idea after all "mission permit for making hostility" you can debate on the prise ,but that is all up to you if we all have to pay for a bellona permit it is also justified to pay for a hostility mission. ps: besides that; who is paying for the victory marks>>> i think it is the permit for the hostility mission >>ask who pays the interest. (the shares?) small br ports small hostility permit price , big br ports > bigger hostility price>>
  4. History The Danish Dog, also known as the Apollo of dogs, is a giant breed. The Danish is Danish in origin, not Danish. It is thought that the breed has been around for more than 400 years. Danish Doggen are descended from mastiff-like dogs that were bred by Danish nobility to protect estates and hunt wild boar. In the 18th century, the Great Danes were prestigious guardians of estates and carriages. They were also popular with the higher class for sports, because few other dogs could drop a wild boar. The Danish who looked more like we know today were developed in the 19th century. In 1880 the Germans prohibited the name "Great Dane" and called the breed "Deutsche Dogge", which means German mastiff; however, the breed is still called Great Dane in English-speaking countries. These dogs are primarily pets and, despite their size, have become popular among city dwellers they love to help protect against robbers. oh. oh. oh..those germans ...again....always try to change history over and over..with everything ... even a DOG is not save lol
  5. Dutch rare 18 century flag flag of one of the major trade city s from the northern part of the united provinces Hoorn / ENKHUIZEN : province North Holland (Noord Holland) Enkhuizer flag (VERY rare : not VOC [spanish] remnant flag) source: dutch atlas made bij Delisle in 1739 Proposal :^^ V P Holland Enkhuizen [ Old] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- pennant 1500- 1708 Enkhuizen pennants^^ (example) ..^^ Melted provinces flag south and north ?? (very interesting ) (green are still colors of Rotterdam and Red from amsterdam) Flag: V O C Enkhuizen (already proposed) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- now it is getting important and interesting . After a long investigation what was going on on the painting from Adriaen Pietersz. van de Venne, 1615 where i could not directly recognise the flags and where the flag seemed to have a color distortion (but later the painting was authentic) i also discovered that the colors of the flag where correct and authentic (van de venne was spot on) i discovered a old restaurated painting of a unknown painter .(already show in another post) Painter :Unknown North Netherland, Fleet review at the Enkhuizen roadstead, oil on panel, 94.0 x 146.5 cm (hxw), not signed, 1614, Municipality of Enkhuizen. https://www.ronalddejager.nl/vlootschouw-enkhuizen/?_gallery=gg-27-681 on this painting many more very very interesting historical footage can be found what needs closer investigation. (like for instance : the maltese cross on a red an white flag ) Presentation On 29 July 1614, Enkhuizen was visited by Prince Maurits, governor of the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands, together with his brother Frederik Hendrik. The flag of the stadholder waving on the mast of the ship in the foreground. Salute shots are fired in honor of this high visit. Enkhuizen was an Orange-minded city: the first city in West-Friesland and the Noorderkwartier in 1572, during the Eighty Years' War, chose the side of Willem van Oranje against the Spaniards. painting before restauration After restoration (i call it the treasure painting because of the new beautiful flags on it, with also new not known to the public flags on it ) This is a almost identical scene from what we have seen before on the painting from van de venne at vlissingen. the upper painting is from a year earlier 1614 and in this painting we can now clearly see the flag and the origin of the ship a year later. at 1615 Enkhuizen Coat of Arms image from the Enkhuizen municipal website. but for a moment back to the painting from van de venne this painting is a year younger than the discovered painting painting of The Departure of a Dignitary from Middelburg, Adriaen Pietersz. van de Venne, 1615 we can see in the top mast on the the ship in the middle the pennant of the city enkhuizen but also in the middle of the flag the (" horn" a musical yachting instrument) of Hoorn the city (it is a combined flag) . seems a nobility flag where the admiralty is combined: 3 month of the year the admiralty have his headquarters in city enkhuizen and the rest of the year at city Hoorn.. combined flag of the admiralty noorderkwartier Holland also pennant Flag from city Enkhuizen Shipmate Flagchart : http://www.flagchart.net Hesman's Vlaggenboek (1708) has a tricolor red - yellow - red. Source: Sierksma's Nederlands Vlaggenboek (1962) - [sie62]. Jarig Bakker, 7 Jun 2003 so i want to introduce and also propose: flag rating important ( regular.) Admiralty of the Noorderkwartier: The Admiralty of the Noorderkwartier also called Admiraliteit of West-Friesland and the Noorderkwartier was the Admiralty of the Noorderkwartier, ie Holland north of the IJ. It was founded on March 6, 1589 by resolution of the States General, by decision of Stadholder Maurits van Nassau, later Prince of Orange. Admiralty was established in Hoorn and from 1597 every three months also in Enkhuizen. Admiralty was abolished in 1795. a flag 5 lanes dark bleu /and 5 lanes white as shown on the painting as a important flag flown from the beginning , the birth of the 7 provinces. flag called: VP Enkhuizen Holland Navy (regular) proposal ^^ VP Enkhuizen Holland Navy - Admiralty Noorderkwartier ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- also propose: Nobility flag : Holland Navy- Admiralty Noorderkwartier Hoorn-Enkhuizen ^^ is also the missing flag from the painting from Adriaen Pietersz. van de Venne, 1615 @admin
  6. Introducing the mother * ? of the flags ( branche dutch ) and where do they all come from : example: the pennants: you see here many examples and much more ( many places not even given here like : [ vianen, luxembourg . ecc ] ) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- stripes and bars (teasing something different >>> yankee flag read article .) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flags_of_the_Confederate_States_of_America#First_flag:_the_"Stars_and_Bars"_(1861–1863) just a note : yankee is also known as: Names >> jan and kees ( typical Dutch names ) i would say >> start thinking { yankee doodle} ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- the legend goes >> Flag of Leuven: After a battle between the "Vikings" and Arnulf of Carinthia had been won by Arnulf, the riverbanks of local river the Dyle were stained red with blood, while the river remained clear. Flag of Austria: According to legend, the flag was invented by Duke Leopold V of Austria as a consequence of his fighting during the Siege of Acre. After a fierce battle, his white surcoat was completely drenched in blood. When he removed his belt, the cloth beneath remained unstained, revealing the combination of red-white-red. So taken was he by this singular sight that he adopted the colours and scheme as his banner. Dordrecht, Gouda and Hoorn do not have a fancy origin story, at least according to wikipedia. (* wrong every flag has his history ) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- therefore : / introducing: the merchant flag of ( Holland) [one of the most important leading provinces of the vp in the NORTH at that time period (18 century) ) seen on many painting but also seem to be forgotten over time. i believe>> also.... this flag has a link with the early American settlers in the 17/18 century where colonist (many dutch settlers went to new amsterdam {new Holland}, current New York) came from europe ( among others from different countries) to settle in america and later on the british empire take control of the colonies. also those colonist used their own flag as a flag they know and are use to,also in a new territory (read colonist land) as the only flag they know for a long time ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- let's continue with the mother * of all flags. also been seen on many painting from Hendrick Cornelis Vroom. ( https://www.wikiart.org/en/hendrick-cornelisz-vroom) Hendrick Cornelisz Vroom (c.1562 – February 4, 1640 (buried)) was a Dutch Golden Age painter credited with being the founder of Dutch marine art or seascape painting. Beginning with the "birds-eye" viewpoint of earlier Netherlandish marine art, his later works show a view from lower down, and more realistic depiction of the seas themselves. He is not to be confused with his son and pupil Cornelis Vroom. the painting itself .(arrival of early orange nassau family ?? to the netherlands vp ?? ) also we see the flag of the province of sealand (prov ZEELAND) And Holland (prov NOORD-HOLLAND) (and National flag) depicting : VROOM_Hendrick_Cornelisz The Arrival at Vlissingen (prov ZEELAND / sealand ) of the Elector Palatinate Frederick. (( coming with?! british ships ? wft transport ??)) Frederick V (German: Friedrich V.; 26 August 1596 – 29 November 1632)[1][2] was the Elector Palatine of the Rhine in the Holy Roman Empire from 1610 to 1623, and reigned as King of Bohemia from 1619 to 1620. He was forced to abdicate both roles, and the brevity of his reign in Bohemia earned him the derisive sobriquet "the Winter King" (Czech: Zimní král; German: Winterkönig). Frederick was born at the Jagdschloss Deinschwang (a hunting lodge) near Amberg in the Upper Palatinate. He was the son of Frederick IV and of Louise Juliana of Orange-Nassau, the daughter of William the Silent and Charlotte de Bourbon-Montpensier. An intellectual, a mystic, and a Calvinist, he succeeded his father as Prince-Elector of the Rhenish Palatinate in 1610. He was responsible for the construction of the famous Hortus Palatinus gardens in Heidelberg. ----------------------------------------------------------------( also there is a link with the other painting from vroom introducing a other royal hair to the netherlands / v p in a earlier post ) probably, and it seems he was a painter from the nobility. more important is the 2 ship on the right of the painting: one upper right is the flag of zeeland (called province south of holland , and the lower ship is a flag from Holland (called province - North Holland ( NOORD-HOLLAND) ) more painting from ships from the prov. north holland (Noord Holland) Face on Hoorn (important trading city in North holland ) you can see here the pennants of hoorn but also the big flag (7 lanes red and 6 white) on the stern .(and other vessel on top of the mast ) flag proposal:^^: V P Merchant Holland. 7. A very nice other Historical American flag (branche America) Pennsylvania Navy Flag During the Revolutionary War eleven states created their own navy. (linked historical with the mother* flag*) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next flag: Whiskey Rebellion Flag ( flag... rare ?) The Whiskey Rebellion occurred in the late 1700s. In 1791, the U.S. government instituted an excise tax on whiskey to help pay off the war debt resulting from the Revolutionary War. Frontier farmers strongly opposed the tax and felt it was an attack on them. Most farmers and distilleries rebelled and refused to pay the tax. At that time, the frontier was comprised of Kentucky and parts of Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Western Pennsylvania rebels took the rebellion further by engaging in intimidation and violence against federal officials that were attempting to collect the tax. Some of the tax collectors were tarred and feathered, and others had their homes burned down. The rebels used a variety of flags to identify the reason for their rebellion. Most were simple, but some had inscriptions of, or similar to, “Equal Taxation and No Excise”. A flag with the wording “Liberty or Death” is said to have used by Hagerstown, Maryland, militiamen when the Federals arrived to try to draft men to fight against the rebellion. The Federals were not successful in drafting those men to its cause. One of the flags used was described as having six stripes to represent the six counties in the area that were included in that faction. Another had six stars and six bars, and another as having seven stars and seven bars. At that time in history, it is likely that the homemade flags were created using wool bunting, cotton or linen. Silk was so expensive that it is unlikely that those on the frontier could afford to use it for flags. The federal government sent the army into Pennsylvania and other states to try to squash the rebellion. While many were arrested, the government was not successful in collecting the taxes. Congress repealed the whiskey tax in 1802 Whiskey rebellion
  8. i saw the battle from the hillside at sale trou (doing neutral trade bargens in shop) and i saw the lure guys fighting with honor at their ports they did well , nice lines and fighting like lions. now how in the world must we let them be slaughtered by predators of the lower class i think world leaders must not let that happen.
  9. Headline of the proclamation VP stays Neutral (Nederland blijft neutraal.)
  10. report F11 24.02 @Ink NAB 98380 in battle the shooting of chain did not react to elevation aiming for top sail and the chain went to the rear of the traderbrig after a odd glitch > after 3-4 minutes... and the chain seems to react again on the elevation. as result the AI trader escaped,
  11. no... i dont know , but i am sure you hold a world record now for highest shrine...(i must put it in the newspaper to let the people know) @Gregory Rainsborough

  13. Did ....you ...gave them a port ? 🤡 what a great ally!
  14. do.. you.... know how many lives were lost ...... i will remember....bloopiemcface I will avenge them
  15. well oke, let's say it was against priv , and it was like a misunderstanding from the polish then to attack my fishing fleet. but before the prussians even turned their eyes to guayara and even before that even more, the polish where our friends in battle and when they got their own ports they were left alone by the fishing fleet and did not attack them or throw fish at them. we always let them pass. and never attacked them . but now it all changed, polish in our waters have become a enemy what we didnt want in the first place. they took the wrong fleet and fired the first shot. now we must protect our fishing grounds . sure.. we will forget old friends , and now ...for a reason.... it's called a treason, for absolutely no reason.
  16. nooo not chickens it looked more like this: the fastest way to run over water or the anti predator defence
  17. is it not a bit weird ..to say ? for example that if havoc port got attacked by prussian forces, suddenly a russian bf clan defends the havoc port ? i do not think the polish are the prussians , and the prussians are the polish... if so it is alt abuse the fishing fleet is/was an integral part of the pb or they have a alliance ...what means .....what's the neutrality worth ???? THE NEUTRALITY IS FAKE...... ITS FAKE NEWS! you are fake ...allllllllllllllll the way...der König der falschen Nachrichten
  18. excuse me.... what has priv has to do with this battle. what i saw , where honorable polisch captains fighting to stay afloat. never heard a word about priv and poles. having a argument in this battle .i even think they are friends because they (polish) >>> attacked us. we just bobbed in front of our own harbor. looking at the horizon and just fishing. we had some cannon practice and every time we fired the guns ,they were sailing in the way...accidents happen sometimes.. (polish) no hard feelings i hope.. 0.0
  19. it is all about mentality . well, i'm not a hero myself either, most of the modern captains are international globalizing nation hoppers, with an inferior respect to their own people and symbols of the nation, in other words: they are contemptuous people of the lesser allooi, farmers' shops and outsiders with a big mouth. producing meaningless snot, speaking with the brain content of a spitting lama or a mumbling frog. it is nothing and it will become nothing. as they leave a nation, they leave their girlfriend or their pet. at the mercy of nature that they cannot cope with and then just run away from it. they have no balls, they are pocket washers, rushing for the roar of football vandals, which if you have them alone in front of you. no longer know what to do. I only know a few who have the balls, but that is a minority. but i rather run away from those ..they are dangerous 0.o
  20. the polisch screened for the prussians yesterday (23.02 galdonas pb) so they are in a alliance with the prussians
  21. "grass floating in the sky" have you been drinking...again.
  22. i think your translator screwed up a bit.... but i guess you are looking for some players to go out in ow . well just give a shout in your nation chat and ask for a clan >> who you can join. but what is your language and your current nation my simple advice is: join a clan .
  23. Aai..well at least you all have 2 balls to talk about it in the "pirate dungen " so have all 2 bottles of rum on my expense in our next meeting in the tavern... AArgh ps. i am not going to pay for having fun with the laidies that's on your own expense
