  1. Before the split the server was international, no matter how it was called. And it was split for reasons. Don´t get me wrong. I totally agree on all of your points. Espacially the 3rd one.
  2. Global server failed twice. To make it work we need something else then "Timers". I just don´t know what...
  3. talking about facts... Jags and me were 7UP since 2016 but what do i know... The VCO days were a short time after server merge.
  4. i moved to Russia myself and got asked to join the portbattle of Nassau. I refused since i haven´t had portbattles for ages. I didn´t want to start off again directly against the possibly best pb fleet you can meet as a Russian. So joining the screening fleet i got my ass handed to me twice by the Danish pb fleet. But this is what happens when dlc and cheap screening ships intercept the pb-fleet. We did our job, not more, not less. After all the Port of Nassau is still Russian.
  5. Personally i think we will see more map and ressource wipes incoming. I can´t imagine every loophole, exploit, bug or however you call it will be closed just because game is released. For me It is nothing more than a patch hitting the server like it happened already in the past and probably will happen in the future aswell.

  7. If that port is close to your capital / core area and hidden by timer you might think different.

  9. Getting personal, why? Is it because you fear your own north-american server without nightflips, hiding behind timers and contested portbattles?
  10. Two or even more regional servers is the only solution i have seen so far for the time zones problem and all the issues it brings along.

  13. You move with your clan/nation to the area of the map with the timers that fit for you. At least this is an idea to solve the timer problem. If RVR hostility system and timers stay as they are with the release, i won´t be interested in it.
  14. I do agree with you on most part. On release i even think everything including ship knowledge and skill books should be wiped. But i don´t see the (on my opinion) core problems of this game even adressed. There will be higher player numbers after release but why should i expect them to stay? And why should i do the grind again if don´t expect them to stay?
  15. I don´t even have an outpost there. It would make sense to connect it with a future wipe. No need to rush this in and risk annoying even more players.
  16. Because clans have setup their bases and warehouses in this areas. They would need to move everything and espacially for the french it is a very long sail if you keep in mind that a wipe is upcoming anyway.
  17. While i agree to remove those secondary safe zones, it should be connected to one of the upcoming wipes. Doing it now will only drive more players away from the game.
