well, the title is a bit misleading I can loot ships. when I'm lucky. 8 out of 10 times, i cannot. no matter how i try, i just seem to be unable to get into that sweetspot where i can actually either loot a sunken ship or captured one. Even when i board a ship and try to access the hold after a capture, i need to monuever and wiggle around for about 5 minutes, even though im right there alongside, stopped. I thought it was normal untill i did a mission with other people. they seem to be just fine being in the general vicinity of the ship to loot it. Me? if i sink a ship, i rarely get a chance to loot it. What's going on here?

Pah, enugh of this nonsense I say. Why don't we all call of this treaty if the spanish don't want it, given their stance, they'd rather fight, get annihalated and reduced to a single port before they finally realise they were being let off the hook by this treaty. The Dutch blockading Spanish ports, whether or not to support the US is, albeit not to the spirit, is in the letter of the agreement. And whether their actions are to support the US or not is not even certain. Either way, they're not breaking the agreement. Either way, the spanish lot are not in a very good position right now, they have no real allies bar the Pirates maybe, no one likes them and they have the reputation of being untrustworthy turncoats and arrogant to boot. It would do the spanish a lot of good to just accept the treaty, stop complaining and try to get on good terms with any other nation and fix at least some of the damage done.

While I can understand studding sails would obstruct the flow to the staysails, I doubt the opposite is true for extra staysails. In the downwind courses where mainsails matter, the staysails whould hang limp anyway.

Confirming single 3rd rate in rank 9 missions. Also, rank 7, single surprise. and to my suprise, a single cerberus in rank 7 too. And yeas, I'm certain, i doublechecked.

It does mean that in Dutch, it's also the name of a famous German admiral and a warship named after him.
