Hello Pirate friends, It's us the USA nation. We're tiny and fun to fight. May I suggest you treat us like a small garden of PvP in your backyard. However, like any garden you need to water us and give us time to grow. Currently we are not as healthy as we could be. May I suggest a non-aggression pact from Sunbury north for a duration of perhaps 2 weeks? If you refuse that is fine. We will soldier on and continue to scurry from Sunbury to Charleston. I also do not speak for the whole nation, but let's be honest there are not that many of us anymore so the word can get out quickly. Do let us know if we can come to a gentlemen's agreement. It would be nice if we had a bit of time to produce some new ships.

Some elaboration on how the pirates are going to be addressed would be nice.

I just want to chime in and say how wonderful it is to see our pirate overlord and US players having a nice exchange. We all love this game, it needs work and we'll get there. I for one have just enjoying the new smuggling mechanic. It is funny how currently the US faction is using more "pirate like" game play than the pirates themselves. +1 for interacting like grown-ups.

I support this. What we really need is a better reputation system/diplomacy system.

Interesting idea, but just imagine how hard that would make navigation. It is already a bit tricky and now we have burningsail.com and the high res map we can use. Witha completely blank map this would be a real challenge. We would need some cartographic tools for sure.

So how many frigates do I need to craft to get this BP?

I like this idea as it gives someone who can't pvp or port battle a voice, but right now the economy and money system is a bit broken. I could simply buy a ridiculous amount of land if it had a set price. This would make gold once again the main currency instead of the current one, labor hours.

My only concern is as someone with little to no time for pvp. I have a two young children at home so pvp doesn't work out well for me. I do however participate regularly in a clan, doing some pve but I really enjoy econ and crafting. I am lvl 37 crafter and I feel I give a lot of help and support to my clan. However, if the only way I can get boosted labor hours is through port battles, that will not be an option for me. I get you guys want to encourage pvp and rvr but I would love some other options for players like me that really want a help out with the already rough situation on labor hours.
