  1. Ok... figured it out... this should be a link to a pretty big JPEG with all the detail in it... https://www.dropbox.com/s/m46basq84ado1iw/MapCompleteWRoseJpeg.jpg?dl=0
  2. I don't at the moment but I'd be more than happy to do that somehow... what do you suggest is the best place for me to upload it?
  3. This map isn't intended on being a work of art like some of the others in this sub-forum, nor has it been enhanced in any way from the game. This is literally just a stitching together of the various segments of the in-game map when at a high enough zoom level to see all the ports, with a compass rose added to aid navigation. With a half-decent printer you could probably make yourself an ok chart-table with this, and the fact that it looks exactly as it does on the game will hopefully make it easier to cross-reference to what's on your screen. ╦ Edit: I'm not sure that the attached file comes out at the full resolution, if anyone has any ideas how to get it on here with the full size/resolution that'd also probably help
  4. OK I have now fixed this particular problem. I purchased a GTX 970 and the game is now running fine. The only thing I would pre-warn others reading this thread is that in solving one problem I have created a other and that is that my PSU is not compatible with the new card. I have an 850W PSU but it's got 4 12v rails and so each rail only supports up to 20A, whereas the new card requires at least 38A. This means that when I run Naval Action or any other graphics intensive game the card overloads the PSU and it restarts the computer. A new single-rail PSU is on order so if anyone is thinking of upgrading their card just make sure the PSU is capable of handling it.
  5. Ok many thanks for the reply... I'll see about a new video card. Looking at the current Nvidia line-up and their corresponding prices there seems to be quite a price jump between the 960 and 970 series, and then a huge jump between the 970 and 980. I don't mind spending the money for something which will stay in service for a few years (hence my GTX-260 which was state-of-the-art at the time I got it) but I also don't want to spend double the price on something which is only a little better... What "bracket" of cards would you recommend getting... i.e. do I NEED to spend over £500 on a 980 series card to make this work, will a £150 960 series card be adequate, or should I hedge my bets on the middle ground and spend £250 on a 970 series?.... or indeed do you recommend something completely different? Many thanks again... ╦
  6. Hi, I installed the game through steam the other day but it won't run at all. It's the same whether I run it through Steam or by clicking the icon on the desktop, a blank white window opens, there is a pause for a few seconds and then I get the message "Client_.exe has stopped working" I am running Direct-X 11, but I was told my graphics card may still be the issue, it's a Nvidia GeForce GTX260. Obviously if it's confirmed that this is the problem I don't have a problem getting a new one, but I don't want to spend out on a new card if it isn't.... I'm not a "throw money at it and eventually something will happen" kind of guy I'm also aware you may need all sorts of other information about my system, but I didn't want to spam the post with stuff you didn't need to please tell me what information you require and I will try to find it. Many thanks in anticipation ╦
