  1. Flood myths, always peculiar....one wonders if any of them are correlatable to the end of the last ice age and all of the meltwater kicking around back then....
  2. I'll begin: THIS guy! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeolus_(son_of_Hippotes) Keeper of the winds....a God we all can believe in....

  5. My father has loved Liszt all his life, and even is able to play a few of his tunes....I have many a beautiful memory of listening to him while dinner cooked upon the range. Arguably Liszt's penultimate piece. Do enjoy. Makes for a beautiful ship name as well 😊
  6. I highly recommend the following for all gentlemen and ladies of the internet 😎 http://fuckinghomepage.com/
  7. Dear sir, thus you describe my love of France....both in-game and RL.
  8. Might be a long shot....but have you cleared your registry of whatever the game may imprint upon it? I'm horrid at tech support of this sort, but that's my two cents.
  9. Nations will only work if mechanics are implemented for mass hierarchy. In the interest of realism, I would wholly advise against such mechanics for pirates. However, for nations? An intriguing idea, to say the least. Edit: Inb4 politics simulator 2018.
  10. Away with you, you dirty combustion engine person! Kidding. I suppose we can also have modern sailors here as well 😛
  11. Oof. I applaud you, sir. Care for a second go?
  12. Ladies and gentlemen, I pray this thread will stand as a place for all true lovers of the most glorious mode of transport to check in. What has everyone sailed? My love has laid with small craft catamarans, also known as the motorcycles of the high seas. I've got my eye on the following in order to follow in the footsteps of Captain John Smith, upon the Chesapeake.... https://www.hobie.com/sail/wave/ https://www.nps.gov/cajo/index.htm
  13. Sounds to me as if the crux of the problem lied in the disarray of the nation. Truly, the greater a nation subscribes to providence, the greater its lack of discord shall be. And thus success comes its way. It is simply said that one must only be cordial with all, and while being cordial, speak softly and carry a big stick. It's really quite a shame that one must continue to wield the big stick, but one never knows when a friend may fall by the wayside and allow their lesser natures to gain hold of themselves.
  14. Any good rat dies by the yardarms.
  15. Fellows, Who is the King or Queen of the Royal Fleets at this time? Or, your Admiral of sorts? I recently have hoisted sail once more and desire intrigue. Pleasant waters to you all o7
  16. War with France? GENTLEMEN, DO YOU FORGET YOUR SISTERS? Mr. Jefferson would be appalled.
  17. BUMP. We hereby abandon our own bylaws. The Company is alive and well, and graciously accepting all those who embrace freedom and liberty. Take what ye can, give nothing back.
