  1. I believe that's the purpose of pirates, dont like the ideas and beliefs of you nation ? Go pirate Though they do need and will get a rework to become actual pirates
  2. Its not that they are to far (Dutch are more or less as far away France from you), its just that you have allies that give 0 fucks about you and your well being.

Dunno what number those votes represent, but people that fight on multiple fronts know that : GB = 1+, when all the stars and moon align 2 full groups is the most they can muster Dutch= 1 25 man group Spain = 1 25 man group French= 1 25 man group (though they have some emo issues atm) Danes= 1 25 man group USA and Swedes need stars and moon to allign to get that one 25 man group going on.
  5. The entire crafting system needs a massive re-haul but this would be a good new feature to put into that re-haul
  6. Just log in to the game, type in the nation chat that you are looking for a clan and you should get a few invites in the matter of minutes.
  7. Can anyone please clarify in which part of the world are fleets affecting PvP so drastically. As a British player fighting Spanish/French/Danish/Pirates i have never seen them arrive with these dreaded AI fleets everyone keeps crying about. Heck the only reasonable place to use them is when your sailing a slow ass trader like the Indiaman as an escort to help fend of a few rattles. So either the situation is drastically different somewhere in at the very south east part of the map or the Bermudas where everyone is suffering from these AI fleets conquering the world, or i would have to come to the conclusion that the majority of you are drama queens on the subject
  8. There would not be any hijacking if the OP simple (pvp2) at the end of his title. Otherwise the majority of players that are on pvp 1 come in,see a title like this and just have to come in here and ask "say what ...?"
  9. Sorry to tell you this dude but so far everyone who replied here is from pvp1.
  10. Last verdict: good basic idea and shout out for the attempt, but the implementation is horrible. The worst thing about it all was that you made one ship able to loot a shit load of chests at the same time, meaning a few traders that showed up first looted all the wrecks in roughly the first 15 mins. What you should have done is allow 1 chest per ship that needs to be hauled back to port opened, an only then you could sail back to pick up another one. Would have made a prolonged event with a lot of activity in the area and a chance for a lot of people to participate and get something to show for it. Instead we got hundreds of pissed people that spent 3 hours sailing after your announcement to arrive 20 mins after the event started to see a bunch of empty shipwrecks. Really hope you take this in consideration and do a rework for the next event
  11. Its a ship bunch of ship wrecks that get emptied out, most of the if not all are already empty.
  12. I can just imagine the admin along with developers reading these post and doing an evil laughter with a glass of port in hand like the council of evil. Feeding on our desperation to find out what this is
  13. If these are not cordinates for the mistery event that will give me the new blueprints and i sail to the other side of the world... i will hate you so much .... P.S yes i am that desperate for new ships.
  14. So far every negative comment here is written by people that have not followed what they are doing with Port battles, alliances and so forth. Seriously at-least read through previous developer posts on upcoming changes before commenting ... On the note of rewards it should be some cosmetic stuff, or ships that are inferior game-play wise but just look awesome as to not force people all jumping to one nation, but rather be a symbolic rewards.

For all the people crying about steamrolling small nations your forgetting the small little fact that PB's are being reworked to be a rare occasion with 2 days of preparations and will never be anything but full unless a nations sports less than 25 players in total, which i sincerely doubt, meaning that victory or loss in RvR will be dictated solely by skill instead of zerging.
  16. The thing that was off putting me a bit from RvR was the fact that even if i played 24/7 always fighting the enemy i had no way of loosing or winning the war, so these news are like god-sent. The thing that raises a question is the enemy being forced into alliance if conquered. With a limit to alliances wonder how that would work if the conquering nation is already at its alliance limit ? You talked about an idea of letting players declare independence from their country some time ago as an idea in a Q&A. Wouldn't it be possible to implement it in here also ? A conquered nations players are given the option to join the conquering nation or become a pirate (assuming they get reworked), and somewhere down the road with an investment of resources they can try a coup, trying to declare independence in a region for their original nation.
  17. How about instead of having sail boats running around at 130km+ just make the missions closer to each other ? PvP should already become more centralized with the new hostility mechanics so you will just need to sail and setup and outpost near a hotspot in regards of getting some PvP action fast. The only other thing would be PVE and you can always reduce the distance the missions spawn from you.
  18. Again, did i miss something ? Voting will be done by landowners, landowners are people that win land in PB's get land by doing a lot of PvP feats or spend a ton of cash. I cant see alts being able to zerg votes unless they already ditched the entire Landlord idea they had going on.

  20. This coupled with with the PB rework will mean not a single empty port battle ever. Rework crafting and and ships to have one dura and ill gift this game to at least 3 people regardless if they'll play it or not
  21. So what your suggesting is, taking all the pressure from Spain on southern Cuba, effectively leaving them to focus on just one front - that is our allied nation the US (because if you missed it Spain is allied friendly with everything else this part of the continent). How about f..k no ?

As for the controversial perk, would actually prefer if it was a default mechanic instead of a perk Could even mix and match both the current system and distance based leaving mechanics. As in if there is an enemy within 500 meters you simply cant leave, if you are between 500-750 meters away a check is initiated every minute or 2, if an enemy ship is closing the distance, or landing hits, you are not allowed to leave, if no one is gaining on you an exit timer starts. Would remove the stupid part of ships without chasers having to turn their broadside each time loosing speed to tag a person, even while having a vastly faster ship.
