  1. At this point the most predictable time for when UAD will update is when this mod is updated.
  2. I almost lost a (1920s) CA because it took exactly 2 8" hits, one bow one stern, and went down to 11% flotation (with AF3). I'm not sure if damage flow and flooding flow are covered by the same stat, but it feels like flooding in particular needs to have less spread. At this point I would take a reduction in torpedo damage for better survivability for my own ships.
  3. First off, love this mod, its basically gotten me back into this game. I can finally use a gun larger than 12" and still hit something. Would there be a way to reduce the maximum thickness of inner deck/belt plates? It seems like I keep running into ships with absurd levels of armor when you add them all up. I'm looking at a 1920 german BB right now with 30" of total belt armor (15" belt+7"1st+6"2nd+1.5" third). AFAIK these inner belts are pretty ahistorical too, most ships might have 1.5" inside of the armor belt for spall protection, and the turtleback would have the sloped armor layer, but the way the game handles this gets a bit ridiculous.
  4. This keeps occurring, and is now affecting 3 ships in a single battle. Top middle, left, and bottom middle ships are all stuck at 14.4kts. The top right is merrily steaming along at 20kts. They are all the same class of ship. This is at the beginning of the battle, which severely effects my ability to even get these ships involved with the battle.
  5. Does anyone else have the issue of BBs getting stuck at cruising speed (my 22kt BB is now stuck at 16.3kts). Is there any way to get them to speed up? Also agree that research is too slow now.
  6. I've done that a few times, left them out a few times. Doesn't seem to make a difference for me.
  7. I'm getting a lot of cases where I will accept a peace treaty but then the game will continue the war. I'd like to not be continually at war because I can never make a peace treaty.
  8. So conning tower armor is now limited? This wasn't the case in the betas, and I'm not sure why its limited, for instance french exp dread BB hull is limited to 13.6" max. That's a little thin for what I normally like to use for my BB conning towers.
  9. Ok, RE: building offset bug. Its not even a turn end, its just leaving the builder. If you save a design, do build something else, then come back to the design it will maintain its offset, but if you exit the builder and stay in the same turn it will add in the offset.
  10. Its not tech related. I've designed a ship, ended the turn(with no tech updates), and the offset shows up. You can then go and copy that design, rebuild it so the offset is correct, and that design will hold out. But if you start a new fresh design with the same hull you'll have the offset problem. Kinda a bizarre bug, whether the offset is fore or aft seems random..
  11. I'm seeing instances where my ships will be built with no weight offset, and then some time later they will end up with a 20-30% weight offset. To the point where I have to do a drastic rebuild to them to get balanced again. Its happened on my light cruiser (french light cruiser 4), 3 of my battleships (french exp dread,2x dreadnought III) but not my CA for whatever reason. so far at least. Just checked and it did it to my DD as well. Edit: it happens right after you end the 1st turn after you design it, then it appears to stay after that, so you can design a ship, end the turn, copy that design and rearrange until its balanced again, then you'll be set.
  12. Seems like the issue of gun models not updating until they are placed is back. When I put down a 5.9" gun it looks like a standard 5" in the highlighted preview image, but as soon is I place it pops back up to the larger 5.9" model. IIRC in patch 18 and 19 at least it would show the full size model before placing it down.
  13. I generally like the more realistic constraints (where it actually is realistic, which it isnt always) But a "creative/arcade" mode where you don't have some limitations like pitch and roll and balance etc would probably be enjoyable.
  14. On the topic of armor issues... this aft belt is .8" of 80% armor, so 1.4" or so. The ship I was shooting at was roughly perpendicular, but even at the range I was at I would have 2.4" of deck pen, let alone the 27 or so inches of belt pen. Even without the high number of deck hits something is off with the armor calculations.
  15. Looks like pitch and roll has been normalized for a lot of the trouble hulls before, that is much appreciated.
