  1. The best way to do it would make trading actually a viable profession one in which large cargo shipments are meaningful and valuable. Players would then privately set up escorts which is a much safer option. Clan wise before the wipe we would buy up hundreds of Parisian furniture then make a massive treasure fleet and sail in straight into KPR it was almost like a server event. That kind of cargo is extremely valuable and if a group got word it was coming and felt they could raid the fleet could stand to make a massive profit. The trade system needs to be changed from something that is done afk probably on a alt account with no risk because no input to one in which a lot of investment and profit is made.
  2. I assure you having to click 50+ times to craft a first rate because "lol its fun to make parts" was not good. It was just annoying I still have ptsd from making ballast 32 at a time when ships needed many hundreds. Oh hey you want to make carriages well you will need mediums and large and oh yea have fun clicking several times for each of the several parts required to make just the carriages. Ship customization like a clan flag or a custom name plate would be far more enjoyable.

  4. Go to place with labor office. Build academy. You need 200 prov. 4 tools. and 500 labor hours.
  5. It has been in game forever and never been fixed. A long time ago had like 40 US players take hostility missions 1 each and had missions everywhere many of which were stacked.
  6. I got a lgv refit and have been having fun in that as well as my redeemables doing pvp. My poor pandora found liq. Anyway I think now is the most fun pvp can be with people mostly in 5th rates with nothing but basic mods. No need to be hostile to the pvp crowd, your safe now hugs.

  8. Can you send to fleet a ship that is your main if you only have that ship at that port?
  9. If you want to sell to the auction, trade, or add a ship to fleet you have to not be on the ship. Problem is once you get on a ship it becomes your main and now unless you log out of the game or tp to another port and back again your stuck in a pirate of the Caribbean part of the ship part of the crew prison that will not release you. Could we please have a simple button on the right click of our ship in the fleet tab (send to dock).
  10. It should be. Flags for instance can be changed for another image.
  11. Pay to win? The ratt is the worst real 4th rate ship of the lot. Its only advantage is that you can get them for (free) once a day. Once any ship building gets set up which will not take more than a few days the other 4ths will be out to bully them. Not only that but once port investments start kicking in dlc ships fall even further behind. The dlc ships are for the most part very balanced and do not come even close to leading the pack in any way. The only exception would be the la get recked but thats just because of what it is.
  12. Also on the topic of the old ship crafting im glad its gone. I have ptsd of having to click like 50 ducking times to craft a ocean. It was literally more enjoyable to afk sail mats around. It was just annoying busy work that added nothing but maybe a bit of immersion for thoughs really into ship design. So many other meaningful things could be done to aid ship crafters like the ability to put up BUY contracts for a ship with specific specs. But dear god please do not send me back to the purgatory that was hey bro we need a fleet of gold oceans.

  14. Sir the indiaman is a powerful 5th rate war ship with a large hold for carrying the blood of thy enemys. Any other use is not approved.
  15. So I thought to myself unless the devs have some magic plans up their sleeves who will actually know naval action has released? The only reason we know is because we are active on the forums and some others who will be told by friends. I assume plenty of people will have no idea until news eventually reaches them or they just happen to stumble back into the loop.
  16. Is it really the same ship when its 20-30% better in every way from the base. Its like saying a snow is the same as a Hercules.
  17. A decent game guide would be nice. Perhaps the 10 commandments of naval action could make a appearance.
  18. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a this is how the game works page for rules of engagement and the like. I can not go a single day without having a handful of people ask why didn't this work? Why didn't I get pulled it?! Why did the battle close?
  19. I have seen a naval action add on YouTube once before, plus the promotions that happened forever ago. Do you have any plans on advertising/ promoting again?

  21. I had always hoped they would bring back the old feature where you could have goods hauled automatically from one port to another for a cost. Very few people want to haul goods for hours across the map it is a un enjoyable time sink that must be done though. I think it would be far better if we could use one of our ships to automatically go from one outpost to another. It would spawn the ship in the open world as an ai and it would sail with its hold to the destination. During this time the ship and the crew on the ship would be occupied and unable to be used until they reach their destination. I feel as this would open up so many possibilities for player generated activities like raiding and convoy escorting. Things that should be very common and important but hardly exist in the game at its current state.
