That simply isn't true. Nearly every fight we get into the pirates have an advantage and I have many screen shots as proof. Fact is they hide in port till enough of us log off until they have a 1.5 to 1 advantage usually also bringing equal to larger ships. Then they get beat in the fight. We have ganked a few people but that's like 1/10 of the people that die to us most are pirate gank fleets that think they have a big enough advantage then lose. This is why I screen shot everything.

The big gank fleets is fine every nation does it and what do you expect when you start taking land off of every nation in the game. They will all group up and kill you, If you don't like it don't piss everyone off. Now chill with the tin foil hat everyone is out to get me.

I did actually just get here and holy crap the tin foil hat foaming at the mouth salt is pretty crazy.

Wait I'm sorry did I just read a post from a pirate the biggest pvp nation complaining about people rolling around in gank fleets.... Not only that did I just read a pirate complain about the number of players we fight with... this being the same nation that had around 40+ people show up to 3 port battles all within 30 mins of each other and won them all? The irony is actually really painful... #Fake News

He is a paid rat merc. Pirates tag and kill each other in the safe zone already so if we pay them to do it how does that change anything?

The shot I posted was just as the battle started no more then 2 mins into it. They joined my side and I assume thought I was an enemy

Twas a messy affair with a bit of questionable activity on both sides. I very much did tag the other nat to give us a better chance of escape although this is something that is used by all sides and is not to uncommon. I do not condone any sort of green on green but again it did happen on both sides.

You cant force players that don't want to pvp to pvp. They will simply hide in the safe zone or just leave the game if they feel they just keep getting attacked. If you want pvp then you need to get players that want pvp on both sides and right now one nation holds most of the servers pvp players. If you cant seem to find people outside your nation to attack consider joining a new nation like Prussia. Its a great pvp spot and located right next to the capital of the pvp nation.

If you make the wasa something you have to build give it a higher BR and maybe a slight speed nerf I think that would be a start to balancing it. As it stands the Wasa more overpowered in its class and beyond for that matter then any other ship. When one ships does everything better then every other ship in its class then it needs a nerf.

If a nation could handle being able to pvp them self's or not has nothing to do with it. The pirates have the ability to attack each other which no other nation has, which is a tool they can use to deal with problem players/alts. What do the pirates do when they are being followed by a obvious pirate alt they kill him. What do nations do when they are being followed by an alt, well they have to go get an alt to kill the alt. Also being able to fight your own nation is very valuable for training players, some things like boarding you just cant do without the ability to attack each other. Anyway until a actual system for special nations is put in place I don't see how giving one nation more powers then the other is at all fair. Personally I think it would be cool if they had some sort of reputation system and if you fell to low that would be how you became a pirate.

Special nations will never happen unless captains are locked from using some ships. Alt accounts are fairly common and they will just trade the permit/bp/ let their main capture the ship off them to get the ship. Nothing but a hard cap will actually do anything to limit ships per faction. I like using all the ships so I don't really mind but trying to use a soft cap like permits/bps wont work.

Why not extend the pirate ability to kill each other to other nations? It works out for the pirates why not let everyone have the same ability's?

So not only does this not break any rules I have seen plenty of people do this. Pre safe zone pirates would tag a us alt outside ctown and use it to hide in battle and just wait for people to sail out into a mission. Also the only time I have been made aware of an account being banned was the pirate alt at savannah port battle that was used to get through the screening fleet and that was just a temp ban on a alt account. The only rules that seem to have been broken was green on green which is well know to not be ok. Anyway lets not get into the great alt debate. I don't think it would be fair to punish a handful of people for something that tons of people abuse.

Ether way it does not really matter the global server just does not have the players anymore. Global struggles to top 200 on the weekends and is just dropping like it does every patch. only to rise again a bit lower then last time. Large group PVP is dead on global till release/next big patch. If you want lots of PVP check out EU they still got 600ish players which is enough for the game to be enjoyable.
