So, there seems to be a bug when crafting upgrades that have an incremental material cost increase with quality. For example, extra planking and reinforced masts. The # of materials increases slightly going from basic -> exceptional (250 planks vs 275 planks, for example), yet when the upgrade is constructed ONLY the 25 extra planks for the extra quality is consumed, not the base 250. This holds true for every material involved, iron fittings, wooden fittings, cordage and oakum, etc. I've had this happen once with exceptional extra planking and once with exceptional reinforced masts, so it seems likely it's endemic across all upgrades that have cost increases. Unknown if it affects non-exceptional mods, but it should be easy to check.

Probably deserves it's own newspaper announcement thing, but I can't do those. Good fight pirates, definitely the most bloody fleet action I have been in.
