I'm really surprised to see all the Spanish players(and by that I mean people who play for spain from wherever they are) crying on the forums and mixing real life stuff with this GAME, why would we even need all these ports when we can't defend them? what's the point? why do you think The Netherlands is much stronger than us? because they have just enough players to patrol their small territory and they do not try to expand rapidly because they can't defend the new territory anyways. I think big clans in our nation need to patrol the important ports and abandon those that are 1000 kilometers away from La Habana.

Oh and one more thing about the small battle missions, Do you guys think that they are going to add real historical battles in the future? I mean at the moment in the random missions the ships carry old English and French flags, could it be that later they will add famous battles with countries that are not playable? I think what the two guys above say actually make sens xD and I must admit I was initially offended by what you said, it is hard to tell if people are being serious oe joking in the internet.

I didn't say anything about making it any more or less useless, the only difference is that player now must enter the tavern in order to access the port chat. And the Bazaar chat is the same thing is the trad channel in the other MMOs. But then again maybe you are right since we already have the global chat.

So since the title is long enough without further ado: Things that are more likely to be added: 1: A Tavern or Inn in every port!: add another section to each city(besides shop,mission etc.) where there is a unique chat lobby that can only be seen by people inside the Inn, and it may be a bit far fetched but maybe even add a unique card game in the future where people can gamble, like the Gwent in The Witcher 3. Make the city channel disappear and force people to enter the tavern to chat with people in the city, or maybe even add a Bazaar chat for trade. 2: I think it is already confirmed but add more flags for each Nation, like the Norwegian flag for the Nord Alliance or Scottish and Welsh flags for the UK. Things that are less likely to be added: 1: A unique Political system, so i have heard that there will be a political system soon and that every player within each nation can vote who to go to war with, but I think it would be better for a political system like that of the Erepublik to be implemented, which means that elite players past a certain level can pay a huge sum of money to create political parties, players past a certain level can join parties and there will be an internal voting between the members of the top 3-4 parties to elect nominees and then finally a final voting where every player from lvl 1 to 100 can vote and elect a president, the president remains in the office for 2-3 real life months and has certain privileges like having access to the national treasury, commanding AI fleets etc. 2: When the political system is added make it so that attacking allied ships will also mean that you will automatically turn into a pirate, to add more meaning to the alliances, but also limit the number of allies each country can have to max 2 to prevent a peace between all nations. let me know if you like/dislike my suggestions.

I understand that you are a patriot but this is just a GAME! in fact I think it is good to loos some of the unimportant ports that are too far away from La Habana! we can't properly defend them anyways! AND why are you blaming the developers?! blame you own nation's clans for not being able to organize a better defense! look at Norge-Danmark for example, they start with a few ports and it's player base consists of people from around the world, making communication extremely difficult and yet even they are more organized than us

Dude,im new i dont know what SLRN or RAE even mean but i'm talking about in-game events not the forums. I mean i thought the British are our allies but whenever i sail to your ports especialy Cochi..something which used to be a free city I get attacked by all these British vessels. Can't they see my Spanish flag?

I also prefer that they keep it this way, but IF the developers decide to add Portugal sometime in the future or any other nation that I have more sympathy towards than the current ones, then I will be forced to start from scratch loosing all my progress in the past few years(i think it will take 1-2 years be4 the devs add any new nation)

Ye I'm talking about this particular game, I actually am a member of the Spanish fleet myself and every time I log in, there are people attacking our cities and also on the forums everyone is always speaking against us, even our British, so called "allies" xD

2 things: 1: Were Those English looking flags actually used by the Dutch navy? if so how could people distinguish the English and Dutch vessels? 2: How come everyone hates Spain? xD

Thanks! The game mechanics seem perfect! Also is there a limit to the number of ships which can enter an instance? I remember watching a clip on youtube where there was this huuge American fleet fighting an even bigger British fleet. I could count 20-24 us ships alone.

What is a battle instance? aren't we allowed to engage the ships from the other nations in the free world? I haven't bought the game yet(i'm kinda on the fence right now) but from what I have heard, Nationals can invade the enemy ports whenever they want, so how can it be if players who are in naval combat are separated from the other players? im confused xD
