just a question, is there a way to Refit ships with new equipment?

yeah I am having the same issue. 3 and a half hours seems a bet odd to me but I guess there could be a hi volume of sales, But I wonder why they use 2 emails rather then one. As there is more that can go wrong.

A pirate or group of pirates should be able to captrue any ship. Should be able to only recaptrue ports they have lost, or only nutreals to give them a base in areas. I also thing ships of the line should be limited for all factions. That might help incurage people to capture ships of the line but all factions. One thing I would hate to see is every one sailing around in a 1st rate

I do think we should give the players info that the captain of a ship would reasonably have. As many captains historically took command of the ship well she was still under construction, (or refit) and was expected to supervise the work. There where advantages to this, making the captain more Familer with there ship. Thus making her more effectively sail and fight his vessel

I would just be happy of they gave me a way to mark where I think I am on the map

Heres the thing, even with a navagater he should give a constent position fix with a margen of error, it should be... you where about here at noon. and you have to wait 12 hourse for your next ovservation fix, and only in clear weather. but you need tools that would let you dr your posstion... I would actually like an option to compare my fix with my master. he could catch an error I made, or I could catch one he made... but I dont one a cirical that fallows you around saying you are about here.... more ats of out last fix, we were about here.

They would have to give us tools to fix or postion or offercers that could fix or postion with a built in margen for error... as for fixing or postion, the stars and constatlations look like there about where they should be. Tools we would need, would be sextents, a tool to give us local time or let us find it and a clock to track refrince time, also a book of tables for the postions of the sun and moon as well as the phase of the moon, and better land marks on the charts. we would also need charting tools. compase deviders scailes, rullers proteacter

Also at least with AI track damage to there moral when there moral is broken the ship surinders that often happened before the ship was sunk in history

I would actually like to see some of the French Crovettes/ ship riged sloops of war. Some of them would be shollow draft vessels, some of them would be about the size maybe a little longer with 3 masts. A good example would be something like JPJ's USS Ranger.

There was a took that could be used for range finding... that would be the sextent. it was also be used to gage your closing spead

Prize agents in ports that you have an out post in, and the baing able to send cargo back on the prize. So that you dont have to phisicly be there to sell a prize and or cargo.....
