What a ridiculous idea!!! But seriously, it doesn't sound as easy as everyone makes it sound. Imagine that you have 25 people in your group... where are you going to stick that huge bar of players on the screen so that it isn't in the way? More players means that you need to rethink how it works in the UI which could end up being a fair amount of work. I'm not against it, I'm just not finding it too be impacting my game play at all, even when I am playing with 25 people.

How often do players become a Pirate by attacking another national member? Is this something that is common or rare? I started out as Pirate, so I don't have any sense as to how often this happens. Regardless, my vote is NO for amnesty (because I didn't do anything wrong ... but I do believe that a player should be able to change the nation they play. I would be interested in seeing an option where a player can switch between nations (ANY nation) and retain their XP. I that in order to prevent abuse that it has to be fairly expensive. Perhaps if only your XP was transferable and you could only do it up to once per 30-90 days. As for what happened in real life... I don't care so much about that. I just want to enjoy the game.
