  1. I had every able man aboard my Frigate working the pumps and I just barely made it past old Davy Jones. My crew earned an extra ration of rum as a result. The wind was the only advantage we had in that fight, and we used it every chance we had. There were multiple times we tacked back around into your lines through clouds of smoke and gunpowder. It wasn't as simple as just outrunning you lads. Within the final minutes you finally managed to push us off the weather gage and we scrambled in every direction. One more ship sank and you would had won. It was a well-played battled and I look forward to more - no matter which side I may be on sirs.
  2. If that is indeed the case, then they should be punished accordingly.
  3. No need for rollback. Things will be "soft" wiped eventually anyway. Just warn/suspend players who blatantly abused it.
  4. No need, this isn't ArcheAge. In fact I wish it didnt tell you Nation or player name. You should have to sail close enough to see the nations colors or take the chance.
  5. I hope the Admins take a hard look at those pirates who continually exploit the system for their own gain.Pirates play an important historical role and can add extra layer of dynamic to the game, but they need to be reworked. They should not be able to farm XP off each other.
  6. You will be able to purchase the game without Paypal when Early Access comes to Steam.
  7. I'm interested in this idea, especially receiving letter of marques to gain privateer status with a certain Nation. It is my opinion that ports of other nations should be open to traders of other nations so long as the diplomatic status of the countries are friendly at the time of entering port. A man-o'war should never be able to enter the port of another nation, friendly or not. An individual sailing in an commerce vessel should be granted entry however. This could also open up the idea of alliances/relations based upon economic reasons instead of just constant warmongering.
  8. Indeed sir. It is a game after-all. I chose the British nation for its rich naval history and my own personal roleplay preferences. However, as an American in reality it was often hard to find a good fight as most the nations we were at "war" with were EU's as well. i look forward to continuing challenge and to bring the fight against you traitorous colonists! Also, yesterday's port battle at Goinaves is a bad representation of the north american timezone players on British. We had quite a few EU players in SLRN stay up to help take back the port.
