  1. Instead of removing pirate as playable nation in PVE server let the devs focus on mission system so we get diff type of missions add the all server and that will bring some variety/changes of play style to the game .
  2. I don't see the point ! You just put your ship for sale at right price and whoever like it will buy it .. simple but regardless of that the game does need a ' Trade ' channel .
  3. Yes we should be able to setup a private contract(s) .
  4. 1 PvP and 1 PvE , I don't want to PvP in this game .
  5. No , it is a captured ship now so winner get it with 1 dura .
  6. Sounds good but I would like to know how would the devs implement them in the game ? I mean they should be randomly found at ports but then , - Will they be 1 time hired or go on monthly payroll ? - Will they get diff bounces based on their specialty ? For example will every cannoneer/gunner have same reload speed or a sailmaster give same + speed/turn rate .. etc .
  7. I have a question ( sorry if this asked before ) but how do I use the crafting notes when trying make a better quality ship ? I am lv 10 crafting and was trying to make a cutter with better quality than basic , I have 2 crafting notes with the rest of materials needed but I didn't see the notes included at ship mats ' Craft ' screen !
  8. I think the current system is fine , however , I wouldn't mind seeing the dura of player crafted ship from class 4 and above to have only 3 . This should make players more careful about losing their ship and think twice before joining battles . But then we need strong game economy so ship builders get access to raw material and then they can steady supply market with ships till production buildings ( player owned ) is added to the game otherwise I can see prices of Iron Ingot and Iron Fittings hitting the roof .
  9. Am just saying if we get wiped I hope we get something that would help each player depend on his/her rank the means/tools to get on his feet and continue working working on his courier . How would u feel as say Master And Commander ( rank ) to start with 0 gold in basic cutter ?
  10. Well Dev's did mention there might be so we not sure yet , all I know they said we get to keep xp and rank , not sure if that include crafting . Right now am slowing down on rank leveling , mostly sailing around discovering ports and getting their trade data so I can plan trading routes and resource gathering for crafting .
  11. So Dev's said any future char wipe will include assets like ships , money but we get to keep xp and rank . Imagine following scenario if Dev's decide to make a wipe say maybe game full release : My current rank is 1st Lt and I have over 250k money in cash and like 150k worth of ships and tradeable goods/material , after the wipe I start with same rank with no money and in basic cutter . My question is , - Am I suppose to do 2nd or 1st Lt missions in basic cutter ? Or , - Go back chasing Trader cutters and lynx's ? My suggestion is that Dev's has to offer a choices for any player with rank higher than start rank , say maybe a ship that suitable with his/her rank or enough money and let us choose . Maybe by that time we will have other ways to gain money like trade/cargo delivery and explore missions .. etc . What do u guys think ? Ps . Sorry if this topic mentioned somewhere else , if yes plz provide a link .
  12. Crew Exp : Bad idea unless the exp can be gained through exploring and trading in addition to combat otherwise we end up with a combat grindy based game . Points of Interst : Yeah sounds fun and great depend on what dev's have in mind , lets wait and see . Morale at sea : Sounds good but then there must a way to handle that , do we have to carry say ' Rum ' and ' Sea Ration ' to keep crew happy ? This would take cargo space not to mention the cost , imagine how this impact the waships captains . Passive Musketeers : Don't like it , would make captains think twice before get close to board/capture enemy ship .
