havn't notice it really, havn't seen one single pirate vs pirate. Its not worth especially if people are in basic cutter max xp you might get is like 30 xD missions is where it at. Basicly i have no life played the game 15-16 hours straight and still going strong, Its not that hard to grind my friend. almost plunderer and im guessing ill reach demon atleast this week.

I still stick with my idea of alternative history, I mean if you would be historical correct first rate's at that time werent that populair for nationals. Most fights were between frigates, also i have heard, only 1 ship of the line has been build over there by spain. So start joining spain. If the pirates back in the day had this ratio they could've done more if they wanted. The way the nationals contained it is by joined forces against pirates so start doing that. Cap our ports and we would be very limited. I agree upon change in portbattles Also like the idea of raiding. Also stop dragging pirate vs pirate exploits in these discussion i play with a big group we never do it and i haven't seen it happen.... It was probs an old exploit but it aint happening anymore. just remove it anyways

Ello, I have seen this happen a couple of times now. When a battle is over you'll get to an End/score screen right. People who might know enemies are lurking outside of battle will just stay in that screen to avoid getting in the OW. I even heard that you can just Alt-f4 out of game, do the dishes, take a nap, get some groceries and after an hour 2 check back to see if its safe. I would suggest getting a timer on the end screen that will automaticly put you back into the OW. How long isnt on me to decide atleast keep it long enough if people are sorting out loot/gargo they should have the time to be able to do it properly. Kind Regards

Altough Libertatia might not have exist but there was some democracy between pirates etc, i feel like if they had even more support or more men back in the day they coud've done great things. I play these types of game a bit for historic reasons but mainly to play a game. And i see it as, What if.... back in the day. You know alternate history this way you can decide your own nations fate instead of following an historical book ye know, Alternate history. And as far as fairness goes, If the US, GB, Spain, Sverige. Holland, Denmark would unite against us the pirate's, we would have no chance. So why not do that? just like in history. Nobody liked us back then

Let the pirates be pirates, I dont feel like us being a real treat to any other nation we might be alot but in some aspects still small. I mean if the US and GB would form a pact again we be gone like the wind. Ofcourse port timer settings is helping us a bit but still gotta agree with the admin there. also i have never seen or heard about pirates vs pirates for xp ive heard about doing honor kills that way but that was before i even joined. I dont know how you came up with this idea it just sounds wierd... We aint that different from other nations. also this: is kinda happening already Guilds are doing their own stuff i see tons of arguing in the chat about possible treaties and some want it and some dont. Ofc when it comes to port battles everybody wants to have a slice.

i played tons with you guys on Potbs, "rick swoan" was my name right now playing pirate aswell but with some other group but might consider joining after the wipe ^^

Impressions/bugs and more Ahoy, Cpt Dain here Recently joined naval combat huge fan having a blast I know its alpha, but i just wanted to point the bugs i found together with my friend and maby some suggestions we think might be fun together with cpt amiquus we started out as pirates looking for battles and missions going great. so some bugs might be known or not. Group instancing/events dont work at some points after some trying we figured only the leader should start and then when i was alt-tabbed he started an event and it didnt make me join so alt-tabbing effected it aswell because later i was leader started an instance he was alt-tabbed and he didnt join hehe, One event even split up with amiquus being in my game but he wasnt really in my game, but alone in his own game so the event kinda dupe'd i figured. he got double end screen but for one only 0 xp and 0 gold but he got the 2000gold 2x. A bug he got was in the UI where you could see your xp and gold and rank etc. He coudnt see it only if he pressed on upgrades but it didn't work always 50% of the time he cant see his gold/xp/etc on sea. suggestions: Maby a small increase of npc for now the pop is low. The missions are mainly keeping me busy ofcourse but me and amiquus where talking about it kinda make the open world look alive indicators in battle, Maby its because im new but sometimes i really have no clue when one ship is going to sink costing me focus or maby some of you can explain it a lil bit so i know when i should switch focus so far: Loving the game so far. Its nice calming fun, ive played Potbs for 1-2years like some of you did aswell i heard what took me off of that game is the MMO-style of playing with the skillset and special ability's after a while i just wanted something more realistic and well then i found this ^^ followd it from day 1 forgot to buy it but finnaly got it! I got lucky ill probbally be joining the naval action soon! and im really happy about it i followed this project from day 1 but then i totally forgot about recently i learned captains could already get in and play and i coudnt But i mailed them and they are still looking for proactive new testers.
