  1. Mainly Kuthara but i did call out some stuff also Mistakes were made in that battle and we had quite afew guys new to port battles also 1-2 new to PvP. We went mainly for a fight and got one which is good! Teaches hopefully some of the newer guys some stuff. However what i really dislike is the effort you have to put in to get Port Battles these days. Really dislike the whole hostility thing as i understand why it's in but it requires alot of effort for a 30 or so min fight the next day. Not only that due to it being the next day not many people on the previous day are able to make it. *cough* Bring back Flags! it was more hectic and fun back then! Good battle none the less and o7 to all the guys involved.
  2. Like i said guys i'm not a fan of this 5th rate of bigger stuff as i see a kill as a kill, however rewarding someone with the presented evidence is up to you in the end.
  3. I would prefer to keep 1 Durability too, however if you feel like you should get something in return the best way i see doing it is like EVE. By insurance now i'm not a fan on the whole idea of getting a whole ship back but insurance for some materials back used to make the ship would be better. So for example Teak/WO Victory sinks you get Whiteoak and Teak back from insurance, to make it a tad easier rebuilding it next time around.

  5. While i do have some of the rewards on me most the time the people who set the bounty have the rewards so for...   6. While i can agree that we had way more numbers at the start, having a battle right outside Mortimer with a non-closing battle...i mean what do you expect? It was more like 8v18 at the start as some people left/fled and the AI/useless ships that were also included. Now while it did start out 8v18, it soon turned into Prussian favour pretty quick Everything after you joining with the 3 1st rates was just to much for us and what we decided was to just go for it regardless of outcome. What you forget is because it was so close to Mortimer we could've just came in 1st and 2nd Rates but didn't. This ofcourse is speaking of some KOTO everyone else who joined has there own free will and we can't control that. You get to caught up on this fair fight mentality. They came to MT for a fight and got one. No ones fault the battles stay open forever and quickly turned in a full pirate side. if you want fair fights PM some of us, Most of us will happily to 1v1,2v2,3v3 etc heck i ask atleast once a day if someone wants a 1v1. Regardless it wasa fun fight and can't wait for more o7

  9. Sounds interesting, I welcome new content. Any issues etc we'll hopefully find out by doing it. Although the whole Patrol thing sounds odd for Pirates perhaps 'Raiding' might be better Can we not have Treasure Fleets yet? Just AI Fleets that sail around like they do now but consist of for example... Indiaman with a bunch of AI Combat ships which Follow it? Make the AI ships also just follow the indiaman that way people just can't kite the ships away and focus the Indiaman?

  11. -Make it so you can capture 1 ship without having Fleet 1 Perk because you should be allowed to atleast capture 1 ship. -Make woods more desirable like Oak etc, because rarely do people use them compared to Teak, White Oak, Live Oak, Fir. -Improve some of the lesser used ships to make them more desirable, example being. 3rd Rate (Not Bellona), St. Pavel, Essex etc. because it'll encourage more variety in ships people use. -Make Ship knowledge's work across the Ship Rates not the individual ships, Why would i not know how to sail another 5 Rate, When i've just got max ship knowledge on another 5th Rate? Granted all ships are different but this'll decrease the Grind people feel.
  12. if you were going to use war supplies again can you not do it so you use war supplies just increases the Port timer window. So lets say the Defender sets it at 11:00-14:00 after every X amount of war supplies done in that window by attackers increases by 1 hour so it's then 11:00-15:00 you do another lot and it'll then be 11:00-16:00 Don't know if anyone understands what i mean or feel about this? As i was not around when war supplies were introduced as i was taking a break Atleast that way you're not outright changing the time the defenders set , you're just increasing it by 1 hour and eventually you'll get it to a point where it'll be in a better time frame for attackers in theory?
  13. While i honestly do not care about Ports that much and timers with that reason does that not mean you can have varied times? so some 11-14 and others in various other timezones? Surely that would be better for your Multi-Timezoned Clan? Having them all at 11-14 Screams to me "we don't want to be attacked at all" and are doing it on purpose. but like i said i honestly do not care what timers you have just pointing out what you said and how it would make more sense to have varied timers. Ofcourse it not just you.... other nations are putting... interesting timers

I tried to use it as a normal Frigate and learned that it was infact a support ship, I sometimes bring it in pvp groups as it's really good at boarding and i can carry all those prized Rum....and repairs on it from captured/sank players. However the swivels i feel are lacking, they do pen real close and do about 2-5 crew kills. So unless im really close i have them turned off 90% of the time. It would be great if they could load Chain (reduced damage to sails due to the smaller balls compared to standard chain) though. But aye once i started using it as a support ship with other players it turned out alot better I got @Palatinose with one and some other players who allowed my men onto there ship so kindly. Those other players were constant and good pvpers too, some Prussians and British. People tend to ignore you as they think the ship is terrible, Until at a certain time i come out from nowhere and board them and make em panic. I've not lost a LGV yet amazingly even with me going right outside Port Royal.
  15. We still use the TS from time to time for Port battle stuff. But were on discord most the time having a chinwag as it's better community wise than TS is If you don't use discord i highly recommend it, even if it is confusing to some at first.
  16. I also think the setting the timer to 11-14 should be changed also, 11...Right after maintenance? getting people ready before hand is a nightmare. You have to expect people to wait during maintenance or plan a day before. Even still if you were going for a distant port the brief window of raising hostility is already closing as you're sailing there. No pre sail (Granted you can tell people to log out in the ocean beforehand) but that means they have to wait an hour while maintenance happens. 13 or 12 would be better as atleast then you can have a Hour or two before hand to prepare.
  17. @rediii From what i've gathered we don't attack Lorimers because we just don't care about it xD Were only somewhat arsed for Blondel as it has Teak in and we enjoy the smaller battle fights.
