  1. Please, the game needs something that can be called content and the crew voices and animations are pathetic. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. You have very nice knees.
  2. Give us a DLC so that our gunners and crew have Arnold Schwarzenegger voices.
  3. The POTBS map was much closer to right sized. About 30-40 minute sail max from one end to the other. A map that size or even slightly larger would help.
  4. Hell, there are 137 players on right now. Odds of encountering one... slim.
  5. This game would be much better with a much smaller map. Lose some ports, shrink the map, profit. You need a huge population to fill this map and you ain't got it.
  6. It is limited by weight and cost... and your mechanic never works against real pvpers Muhahahahahahaha.
  7. Lol, as soon as I could sail a snow I was hanging out at KPR. This was way before safe zones. I levelled up almost entirely through PvP. It would be very hard to do that these days.
  8. How wrong you are. The biggest attraction for many players that came to this game (especially from POTBS) was unrestricted PvP. PvP BR restrictions ushered in the biggest population drop that I saw in this game. They have an entire server dedicated to players like you, what more do you want????? And Sid Meier's Pirates is still pretty good.
  9. Please explain how people getting AI reinforcements in a battle near their ports that stays open "helps" gankers. And for the record, my biggest complaint about green zones is that I usually sail solo and can't tag anything since anything worth tagging solo is in the green zone.
  10. Make very lucrative trade items in free towns. Make more free towns. That would set up trade routes outside reinforcement zones.
  11. Please. This game was released and marketed as open world pvp. It has changed to something between PvE and arena combat.
  12. This map is too large for what this game is trying to accomplish. I'm guessing, but I bet at least 80% of the ports see very little to zero traffic. Reducing the size of the map and the number of ports by half might help. In the meantime, of course PvPers go to capitals. To PvP you have to go where players are. But now those areas are off limits leaving PvPers nowhere to go unless they have a large group or disposable ship (Patrol Zone). This game was founded on the premise of unrestricted open-world PvP. And this game was far better two years ago when it was just that. All of the changes to make PvP inorganically "fair" have made it worse and made it harder to find PvP. Currently I log on and unless there is a large group going somewhere, I log off. It is not worth my time making long sails to some of the isolated places that I might find PvP that is not protected by Reinforcement Zones and their magical 1st rates. It seems like a large number of players are playing this game risk free, full-time. While PvPers are out risking their ships trying to find something in a Reinforcement Zone. Suggestions: 1. Make reinforcement zones much smaller and have realistic and random reinforcements. 2. Don't make player level a factor; otherwise you will incentive players to have low-level alts. It happened in POTBS and we had a glut of lvl 25 traders. 3. Make valuable resources outside of the Reinforcement Zones. Move valuable resources away from capitals. 4. Make high level missions only available away from the capital or outside Reinforcement Zones. 5. Bring back more free towns so players can spread around the map more effectively, especially solo hunters. Relying on RvR to carry the battle on a map this size is not viable. RvR should be over resource control. In POTBS it was usually over deep water ports. 6. Make it instant death for any pirates that stay and Mortimer Town and carebear. They should be ashamed and should not be authorized the Jolly Roger. Same for pirate "traders". 7. Reduce the map size and port number???
  13. You wouldn't be asking this if your open world sandbox did not suck so bad.
  14. I would recommend them for anyone with a sense of humor that does not take the game so seriously that they resort to insults during PvP.
  15. Ran into a few while innocently fishing in eel infested waters after midnight. They were class acts, aside from running me off from my fishing spot.
  16. Actually you should read the original post. That is the person quitting due to mechanics. Additionally I advocate for mechanics that favor nobody, they should be fair.
  17. Yes, really. This is not arena combat. It is open world with in game resource and ship loss. If you cannot handle that maturely, you should not play this game.
  18. As for "I'm front of the capital", holy hell we have to sail twenty minutes to get there and you want mechanics stacked against us?
  19. People who can't handle open world PvP should not play this game. Far more players quit this game when BR restrictions were introduced then quitters that can't handle losing.
  20. Here is the problem; we have an OW and the devs keep putting mechanics in place to encourage "arena" fair fights. One or the other, please.
  21. I don't know, I play only to PvP and am usually successful when I find anyone. I think the biggest issues is finding someone and then the mechanics that 'balance' the game for non pvpers and dock humpers.
  22. Encourage PvP by having each city increase in wealth based on all crafting or resource mining that occurs there. The more activity, the wealthier the city gets. Make that wealth trackable and make it influence port battle rewards. This will focus warfare and aid nations in developing strategic goals. It will also help pirates and such track down the main econ hubs.
  23. Yes, most games that are multi-player do favor groups over single players... deal with it?
  24. Lol, the tribunal. Cleanup on aisle five, someone call the Whaaaaaambulance and get than man to a PvE server!
