  1. Aye you should laugh it off, but once again when its something such as Cancer that is insulted at you... Many of my family members have suffered from Cancer and I hate people using it as an insult
  2. Usually I would have felt the same, but Cancer is not a thing to joke about.
  3. Insulting with the word "Cancer" is extreme, I think this is punishable.
  4. Then your life is condemned good sir.
  5. Aye I think you're right I tried to investigate more but found nothing, ah well It sounded like a good story!
  6. Aye this is the source - http://egotvonline.com/2011/06/21/10-ghost-ships-that-actually-existed/ There's another account on there about The Jenny which has a similar story, not entirely sure these are correct or true.
  7. Brief History The Octavius was a British merchant vessel that was trading with China in the late 1700′s. According to the story of The Octavius, the ship arrived safely in China, but then the ship’s captain chose to gamble with fate: he decided to attempt a return to England using the Northwest Passage (through the Arctic), which had never been attempted before. Here’s where it gets interesting: the ship wasn't discovered until 13 years later off the coast of Greenland when a whaling ship spotted her. When the crew boarded the new-found ship, they discovered the bodies of all crew members frozen solid, and almost perfectly preserved. The captain of the Octavius was supposedly frozen stiff, still seated at his captain’s desk, and in the middle of writing a log entry that was dated November 11, 1762. After the encounter with the frozen bodies, the whaling crew refused to search the rest of the ship and promptly got the hell off of the Octavius. The ship had apparently found its way through the Northwest Passage over the past thirteen years by itself. The whaling crew departed, the Octavius drifted away and was never seen again. I was looking around for Merchant ships, as I am intrigued by the open world Merchant game play and came across this ship. I'm not sure if it''s the right ship for the game but I was surprised by the story off the ship itself. However doing some more research I discovered that this could be a fictional ship, I just wanted to hear other peoples takes on this ship. Apologies for the small sized photograph.
  8. I think this ship would work with something that Jeremiah O'Brien said in another post about fishing. As you progress your fishing skills, you eventually learn how to whale. This then allows you to make blueprints for a ship such as this, which can then be used to further than skill. As well as selling Whale meat at port and to other merchants.
  9. Very well put sir, I think this is a ship that should definitely be looked at as an entry too Naval Action!
  10. I'm part Danish, moved too Britain when i was a young lad I also get a sense off pride, I know exactly how you feel!
  11. I think this and the Hemmema's would be a good addition too the game. Both would add more variety too the Swedish/Danish and It's nice too see something other than British!
  12. I have to agree that it would be a good starting lineup for Sweden and should be considered.
  13. Would be good for shallow sea exploration, trading and sailing in general I like the idea!
  14. Finished watching season two, and personally, I loved that ending.
  15. Coming in at 16, I've always been fascinated with the History of sailing, and ever since I was around the age off 12 I've dreamed off a good "age of sail" game, and I do believe this is it.
  16. Aye the Hemmema looks interesting, especially for the development off Shallow water ships, could work nicely all round in the Caribbean, any specs you would recommend?
