  1. Thanks, I will look into this. I just needed some direction. Have a great day!
  2. I haven't seen anyone with this issue so I thought I would bring it up here. I have had this happen to me several times; I can go from port to OW and there is no ship, or coming out of a battle into OW and there is no ship or from OW into port and there is a blank page. The only way to go back to where I left off is to restart the game. Sometimes it takes a couple of restarts to pick up where I left off. I have excepted this once in a while but find that nearly every time I am online now, this happens at least once.I have done the F11 a number of times (not every time as I got tired of issuing report after report). Basically is I go swimming a lot in the game as I travel into the OW from port or battle. I am in the water but there is no ship. I am just glad we are in the Caribbean where the water is warm and not in the north Atlantic, LOL.
  3. Awesome direction you are taking. My hat is off to you!
  4. This has got to be the best navigational tool yet. I use a second computer to run this tool. Place the compass at my current location, tap the destination and set the average speed, note the angle in degrees and away I go. I reach the destination in the approximated time and arrive in site of the destination. This is a perfect example of having a navigational tool for this game. Absolutely love it. Thank you Sir!
  5. There appears to be issues with the US servers at this time. I'm trying to log onto PVE One USA and am receiving an Error: login queue request failed Having been in the server and dropped a little while ago has caused an issue trying any other server as they see me still on this one. A real Catch 22.
  6. I wonder if the admiralty has simular discussions over prizes. It seems the root of this discussion is not really through grief but the fact someone has spend time is softening a target just to have the prize taken from him. If the prize reward is divided by the time played. The captured ship going to the highest time holder in the battle then any player coming late into a battle to take away a prize from those who have spent the time and effort to soften the target is rewarded with a portion of the prize and not all of it. Here is a way a squadron can work together, rewarded for their efforts and comrades are made. You can assist or be assisted by others on your team without concerning for loosing a hard earned gain. Anyone who enjoys the exploit of entering into an existing battle thinking they can cut away the entire prize will only be able to leave with the percentage earned from the amount of time in the battle. This allows for individuals to play the way they like and reward of the prize is based upon the time engaged in the capture of the prize. The one who put the most important into the captured gets the larger cut of the spoiles. IMHO
  7. It is great to see action taken against the exploit. Thank you Developers for taking the time to police the game and keeping it playable for all. Even in buying the game, capitalizing on the exploits hurts all players and punishment is just. It does take time to gain gold for improvements, it takes many battles to get to a different level of experience. What these individuals did, from what I have read, is taken an advantage of an exploit to enrich their own position in the game. Giving themselves advantages over all other players. I am glad they have been caught and being dealt with. Thank you Sirs o7
  8. Rolling on the deck laughing my Darby off. A wonderful light hearted way to deal with a subject that could get way out of hand. I love the generator Captain Darby, good job. For those who may not understand the English language that well, do not worry to understand the means for there are none. Just funny sounding gibberish.
  9. The thing I have notice with modeling the USS North Carolina is she is like the Constitution on steroids. The designs that emerged after 1815 started to be standardized with similar lines to them where the differences were the number of decks. The latter group of 74's designed look so much alike. The deck furniture hadn't varied much from the frigate classes of the time. I have another model I am going to start and she is a favorite of mine, more on that one later. Her lines are of the mid 1700's and a real beauty. The later half of the 18th century has, in my opinion, some of the most beautiful ships built.
  10. Extremely well built game, you have done a wonderful job developing it. It is a work of art as well as a "game". Thank you!
  11. Good discussion here. I like what I've read so lets see what develops.
  12. Excellent map. You have created a functional piece art!
