  1. ty m8 tried to search for in on the forum but did not find Vasa but did not search for Wasa
  2. Vasa (or Wasa)[1] is a Swedish warship built between 1626 and 1628. The ship foundered and sank after sailing about 1,300 m (1,400 yd) into her maiden voyageon 10 August 1628. She fell into obscurity after most of her valuable bronze cannons were salvaged in the 17th century until she was located again in the late 1950s in a busy shipping lane just outside the Stockholm harbor. Salvaged with a largely intact hull in 1961, she was housed in a temporary museum calledWasavarvet ("The Wasa Shipyard") until 1988 and then moved to the Vasa Museum in Stockholm. The ship is one of Sweden's most popular tourist attractions and has been seen by over 29 million visitors since 1961.[2] Since her recovery, Vasa has become a widely recognized symbol of the Swedish "great power period" and is today a de facto standard in the media and among Swedes for evaluating the historical importance of shipwrecks. Tonnage: 1210 tonnes displacement Length: Sparred length: 69 m (226 ft) Between perpendiculars 47.5 m (155.8 ft) Beam: 11.7 m (38 ft) Height: 52.5 m (172 ft) Draft: 4.8 m (16 ft) Propulsion: Sails, 1,275 square m (13,720 sq ft) Crew: 145 sailors, 300 soldiers Armament: 64 guns, including: 24-pounders—48 3-pounders—8 1-pounders—2 howitzers—6 The next time I go to Denmark gonna jump over to Sweden to see the Vasa

  5. One way to go is to complete the English and France lines then move on, but would like to see some of the other nations ships as well, make 1 or 2 then finish the English and France and begin on the Spanish,Russians,Dutch or what ever
  6. ya it's bad out there on world of tanks to take one example it's bad really bad and it's hard to control because there are just so many players, but if people that do act poorly are punished and i mean a bit harder then now it can change i have no doubt

  12. ya that might be true dude am not gonna imply that i know to much about sailing ships, as we did not learn a lot about them it was mainly self propelled ships
  13. Ya that should work fine but do see that it's just not the case, when i was playing navy field that was the case as if you sailed in front of a bigger ship you just might get sunk hehe
  14. In 1840 England got the regulations for sailing to avoid collisions there are a lot of rules but if players just could follow the basic then it would all go more smoothly. in RL you must never turn to port unless there is no other option for avoiding collision and then still you could be blamed just as much as the ship that dose nothing to aviod the collision when it's come to court. But do see that these rules are hard to follow in a battle but if they are used by everyone there will be a lot less chaos, and i should know as I'm and officer myself As you can see on the image sailing ships can turn to port that is because they are only using the wind, these rules only apply to ships with sails, the other are for self propelled ships
  15. I have some very good but know they will be stolen if I tell anyone
  16. Happy stroling around in the forum gathering data :) if you play a game then you should know as much as you can about zt game
