  1. Never do anything but brace and attack vs ai, they are buffed so much that anything else is pretty much a waste. Brace when your prep is below 60 and then attack at the last second when its over 60.
  2. Today my game started to have ping spikes followed by a freeze and then a crash out of the game. This has happened twice today so I am reporting it. My ping is normally around 100 from NE USA and my internet is fine today. One of the times before the crash I exited a battle and the game spawned me underwater. It crashed as I was typing a bug report.
  3. Clippers like that are after the games timeline, the Prince de Neufchatel is already the best historic Baltimore Clipper warship that fits in the games era.
  4. Battles are currently broken, disconnects from servers.
  5. Also after battle my game takes extra time to load and spawns me underwater with no ship visible. -Edit, loading into open world spawns camera underwater. Restarting game fixes this.
  6. Since the latest patch my ping has been an unstable 200-700 with lots of jittering. Normally I have close to 100 as I live in the NE US.
  7. I turned my graphics down from best to second to worst and it has drastically reduced crashing.

  9. It wan't a sustained 3rpm, it was only for the first minute, then down to 1-2rpm. They must of had a ready rack or something. Could also have been "cheating" like at the Kirov weapon trials where they got 5.5rpm vs 2 in service somehow.
  10. Could there be a mode where you design every ship on both sides for a custom battle?
  11. For curtain hull designs there would be a hard limit to how fast you could go. If you can lengthen a ship in a refit then it would greatly improve the speed-length ratio, if you can't there is no way you are pushing a short and stubby early warship to speeds much faster then low 20kts.
  12. Aside from crashing every so often I have enjoyed the alpha on my first day. Some things I've noticed though: 1. The fixed positions for the bridge seem to force most of the firepower to the back of a ship. 2. Torpedo's flooding and damage chance vs armored ships is far too low. Could be balanced out by not having torp reloads as default. 3. We should be able to see what an HE round can penetrate. 4. The sliders need tuning. There should be speed restrictions for curtain classes. Ex: PreDreads should't be able to go over 20kts.
  13. Closest I got was with three dds with four duel launchers using 19" electric torps. If there is any angle at all the torps do no damage, the best round I got the BB ran away from me and the time ran out after I got its structure into the 30's. Flooding them is impossible it seems.
