  1. Como bien dices, cada uno invierte el tiempo donde puede. Mucha gente no tiene el tiempo suficiente para estar casi siempre. Trabajos, familia... Hay de todo en todas las facciones, traders, gente que hace PvP, RVR, IA's... Y gente que jugamos menos y tratamos de hacer un poco de todo para disfrutar. Desde mi punto de vista poco se puede exigir a nadie, cada uno juega como quiere ( o puede), la clave es crear alicientes para que haya muchos jugadores en la facción y el esfuerzo sea más repartido. No todo el mundo puede sacar tiempo o quitárselo de otras cosas para hacer 7 PB a la semana (

  2. As of right now, outside of torpedoes smaller ships do not have much of a use, this is because any time a cruiser is put against a BC or BB, it will lose, and so on. But smaller ships are very necessary for power projection, coastal defense, escort, etc... If it wasn't necessary to have so many ships in so many places at once, then you would just end up building a super Yamato and calling it a day. So the campaign will need to simulate the feeling of always needing to be a step ahead of the curb, the need to have many ships doing many different things at once, and budget constriction

  3. The next mega battleship is an interesting one. She has smaller caliber main guns, but she has lots of them. The reload speed is also shorter so the RoF is excellent. This ship is good against almost every type of ships including battleships, but against larger battleships her main guns are not that effective. She has massive secondary fire power and dual purpose AA guns. The AA is good against aircrafts and airships too. The biggest draw back is her citadel. She has the biggest citadel among the mega battleships I have created. She has lots of turrets and because of this she has lots of ammun

  4. I hope the campaign will be able to simulate the need. In real life having one big ship is having no ships. It would never be were you need it. Smaller ships do most of the work

  6. This just came to me. If (and that's a big if) we have something similar to the Prestige rating in RTW, how about getting presented with, let's call it a first draft of the treaty. Say, just as an example: BB/BC no larger than 35,000 tons BB/BC no guns larger than 16" CA no larger than 12,000 tons CA no larger guns than 9" Ships under construction that exceed this are to be scrapped. And now you get a couple of "points", the more prestige you have the more points you get, to tweak those numbers. Say, you could spend some to keep that B

  12. No veo la comparación acertada. En un CoD la partida tiene un objetivo marcado por el propio juego, es más, te lo explica una voz en off justo al empezar. Tampoco tiene sentido lo de los equipos, ya que esto es un mmo y no hay equilibrio entre equipos. Yo debo jugar a lo sumo 4h a la semana. Es poco, lo sé. Pero lo más que hago es matar alguna IA con barcos con huecos pendientes, PvP auxiliando o directamente que me ataquen a mí, defender o esperar para atacar a enemigos haciendo la flota capital y, en tiempos de guerra, sumarse a las pantallas.   20. Old one, extremely limited editor. AI generating gunbarges as cruisers and speedboats as ironclads. Gunbarges and speedboats in general. It isn't normal, nor pretty, when they field a 30 heavy turrets cruiser abomination like it's From the Depths. They often tend to go for extremities, maximum possible speed with tiny guns or just all the guns that physically can fit onto the hull, probably even violating the mass restriction.   23. Got lucky while i was already lining up for a grab. I think it came out grainy because it went through paint.... My poor baby after 35 14" shells, 1 22" torpedo, a flash fire, and a few dozen 229mm shells. limping away at 16 knots, with 2 damaged engines, rudder, and dead command.

You have already taken it too far with the original build including Dane, Swede and even the US really, should have kept it simple and had just the main GB, France, Spain, Dutch then a pirate pop outta neutral ports with some build restrictions on rate ships as that isnt accurate for them to have SOL, but in all honesty the game population is no where near big enough to support the amount of nations we have, maybe if u had 20k players and a pop balance feature then it might be better but where the game is at is u have big nations and other nations having alliances with those nation making them

  25. I think the problem is not the number of nations, but the positive feedback mechanics in the game. My point of view comes from many years of complex system analysis. If you want to have a self-balanced system you cannot only have positive feedbacks, but you need negative ones. Otherwise, you quickly spin into very homogeneous -and boring- systems. I don't really think there are too many nations, or that @admin should re-balance players/nations. The system should be self-balanced, and let players pick their colors as they find interesting, with a more sophisticated rewards system. The proble

  26. I did like the faction suggestion that @admin made a good while ago as a way to help nations work together and fight other stronger nations. The only big changes I would make is below. IMPOSSIBLE NATIONS: This is currently Russia, Poland, Prussia and China. They are just that, the hard core of the hard core. You get no capital, you have all your ports taken away, you are playing hard core mode and no one likes you. All factions are at war with you. These nations are more about PvP and just being a thorn in side of other nations. Maybe put a cap on the number of ports the

  27. I think that more historically accurate nations would be the better choice. GB, Sweeden, Denmark, France, USA, Spain, Portugal, Pirates and Dutch. Chinese, Prussia and Russia were never there, maybe singular trade ship captains but not ports or warships.

  28. I would propose that we only have the nation's that we're really in the Carribiean Historically! Everyone who loves the game would keep playing it no matter what nation! And you mabey resolve the issue with the Overpopulated Russian nation since ATM of course if u are Russian Player you like Playing in Russian Nation Pirates are Fine they where in the Carribiean Sweden, Denmark, etc etc were Small but still they were there!   29. I dont find it a problem but more a meaningless thing. All it does is lets the same people jump nations, piss everybody else off and then change nations again. Repeat, recycle over and over. This is easier with more nations. Also no ramifications. If you polish now, u do as you like. Nobody can touch you for it is not a nation. Зашел в бой за британскую сторону против пиратов у Гранд Турка и сразу понял что бой липа и бриты с пиратами биться не собираются и GA меня им просто отдают на съедание. Ну ладно думаю хрен с ним, но не тут то было,Бриты стали по мне стрелять, а в какой то момент даже блочить и выкручивать на пиратов, а в чатик тролить и типо я глупый сам им мешаю. There are only 2 options. 1 - Do away with nations completely other than 4-5 starter nations that act in a PVP/PVE and light RVR capacity and introduce a Free For All faction that is clan based (each clan can fly one of the current nations flags). FFA Faction operates in the current climate of port loss/captures and no restrictions on RVR. Aka make the rest impossible nations. Operate out of free towns and capture territory. Major Problem: too many nation → only major nation have player base → small nation player unable to have resources and keep port → unable to build quality ships and level up → player leave → big nation only getting stronger and bigger, until player are tired or have disagreement to each other. Just My Little Dream: other way besides Alliance My idea is make RVR to Clan basic not National basic if you like to keep and add as many nation in game as possible? let nation just a select for spawn area, and different regions(nation) have different special local product.

Make RvR clan based instead of nation based Why current nation RvR doesnt work: As we have seen recently with Britian, nations can experience national disputes to even civil wars without a clear solution to it other than bullying away your internal enemy No defined alliance is possible, only 'hand-shake agreements', which can be too easily broken and lead to very easy backstabs and that sort of toxic diplomacy.
