  1. Please please please can you return the fleet practice lobby system, it is an excellent tool for new and experienced players to practice large scale battles and teach small scale battles too it helps new players to learn how to figth without losing the ship. It helps breed a new era of fleet commanders for port battles. it helps fleet members sharpen their skills.. newer players wanting to get involved in RvR are forced to bend the knee to the veterans because they dont know where to begin when commanding a fleet, fleet practice fills this void with the ability to practice, teach,

  2. A major defining thing about the Washington naval treaty was how every nation tried to find their own way to barely skirt around it, or just outright ignored it in some places. I think it would be a great mechanic if there was a system involved with naval treaties where let's say you are building a new ship, and a treaty limits it's tonnage, you can try to squeeze a few extra tons in and hope no-one notices, maybe put funding to shut people up about it, and if it becomes too common of knowledge, you could be faced with an ultimatum to scrap your ship that you put so much effort in, or fac

  3. "People Log" for clans. It would be like a "resource log" and "money log". This log would show who joins and who leaves the clan. This would be useful for large clans. For example, I noticed that there were 234 people in my clan a few days ago, and now there are 232 of them. I don't think that any of the important people left, but still, it's a little interesting. It will be easy to see which players joined and who left the clan.

  6. @admin crafting needs to stay i dont really care how easy / hard it is to craft.. players buy dlc whether crafting is easy or not. I think you have two possibilities. 1) make craft hard - you reduce pvp and selection of ships seen by players on OW. 2) make crafting somewhat easy and you should see a healthy playerbase with lots of PvP. you must understand not everyone has hours upon hours to play and others do... so you end up with casual players not looking so much at craft system or if they do they dont want to risk their nicely crafted 1st rate. Those that have m

  7. To be honest there is nothing wrong with the system now I never heard anyone complain about Dibloon system lol! To be honest for me it seems like you try to kill the game so u don't have to spend more resorces into development! No offense, just saying First u kill the de reuyter and demant good reviews for it! Then the Flag system and the new wood types even though majority even wants Seasoned woods out of the game! No it's not fake news there was a poll for it! The last announcements had all negative feedback but you don't care! Playerbase has dropped dramatically

  8. Can we at least get some reasoning for this change? Or is any major mechanic/part of the game just down to be changed at a moments notice at the whim of the devs? After people farm thousands of wood chest for port upgrades, 1 year later you're going to make it so the upgrades don't need wood chests too? So nice to waste all the time of the most dedicated players. If doubloon prices are too high, it would be 100 times better to add more doubloons as rewards. Why not make port raids actually viable? the community asked for those rewards to be made much higher since their introduction and y

  10. I think you're missing the mark here. This is a conquest game with a winner take all mindset (old dogs like us call this full loot MMO) and has been designed to give nations an edge over others. A crafting system is necessary to this style of game. Personally I've disliked all of the crafting systems post fine woods patch. I thought that blend of modest difficulty, logistics and various bonuses for certain regions was the peak of NA crafting. The only downside was durabilities on most of the ships. Bringing back that system + removing duras would be a major success IMO. The flaw

  13. Sekiro, with your complaints you're only defending your gameplay, not the economy nor anything else. We all know you don't give a hello kitty about it, but you ignore that removing doubs from that will make crafting more attractive. Think about that: less redoutable spam (I don't spam redoutables anyway, if you say so you're an idiot, you know why we used so many in the past). I used one yesterday since I didn't have other ships available in the short term, for the rest I use them ONLY for Patrol. The truth is that you see so many around (and that's why now I stopped using bellona, wasa and si

  15. Or you could use it to blackmail top leaders in said other nation. And yeah I was thinking let's say they ban anything above say 14 inch guns. A 16 inch gun is much more likely to be called out than a 15 inch gun.

  16. I like it too. Anyway i got an idea: This might be connected with the inteligence feature that was discussed before-if your spies would discover that some country is cheating on treaties you could choose to reveal this information (to hurt it's prestiege etc.) or keep this information for yourself if you wouldn't like to rise tension. Also probability of somebody noticing might differ by how much you violate this treaty (it would be different if you extend limit about 1000 tons or about 10000 tons.

  18. While many mock pre-dreadnoughts and dreadnoughts for having torpedo tubes there is actually a very good reason as to why they had them. Often times the gun technology was not up to date with the protection during this period, if two pre-dreadnoughts were to find each other and engage in 1v1 combat, neither would really be able to do much damage due to the emphasis on secondary arms rather than the all big gun design dreadnoughts are known for, as well as the fact that the armor on both ships would usually be enough to deflect any shells that came their way. This is the reason why at the

Also I've always wanted to build the Scharnhorst Class of battleship but the German Triple 11inch guns but they dont match in looks. Also it would be nice to be able to build multiple classes/types of ships for custom battles.

  20. You have a point. This was tested, thoroughly during the patch 17 of testing aka hardcore patch and found wanting. Economy was vibrant and needed. Added a terrific need for every nation, every clan, every player to produce, transport and to craft all for ships. Many did dislike it a lot. Many I do read now wanting a vibrant and live economy. So I am at a loss. But on another point of view the same approach to "crafting" mechanics may be used by other historical mmos in different ways. There's no crafting but there's a automated umpire resolution of supply chains for example. Not sayi

  21. If that's so please tell us how removing the old crafting system we had 1-2 years ago has improved the game? Cause I don't see the advantages we gained from having taken that off the game. We already had a good and very nice crafting system that was dynamic, you created it already and it was pretty damn good. I honestly don't understand why it was removed for an overly simple system that hasn't really made anything better in the long run. Reality as you put it didn't cause that system to fail, it seems more like the need to try to constantly change things about the game that are working

  22. Personally i really like this idea, would add a greater depth to the immersion of the game as whole and make it much more interesting as well since you can be a bit naughty in making your ship a bit more chonk. You could lose pretige, have ship construction slowed down, funds taken away or external sanctions placed, maybe lose a ship or two and the other things you suggested as well. Makes me wonder what the limits we can set with treaties will be, im actually excited for the campaign but im willing to wait for a more stable release.

  25. Internal Clan Leaderboard. Similar to the Clan Leaderboard, but containing only players from Your clan. Rationale: This could promote internal competition, as, for many clan members, appearing on the global PvP leaderboard is not achievable due to time they have available for the game (that global PvP leaderboard is basically for hardcore players ). Also, this leaderboard would be weekly-based, not daily-based, as the global leaderboard is. Such internal competition would hopefully increase amount of content, by giving people one more reason to do PvP (or PvE, shall they want to

28. Suggestion: keep doublons in craft materials but make them quality boosters ? (Similar to the gold coins in past) eg : (1/ rank x multiplier ) x (1/ slots) x doublons = increased probability to get a 3+ slot ship Edit: A bit confused now. Todays patch didnt change the dubs requirement. A LO still costs 9K ish dubs ?

  30. I wanted to post it myself, but yes: would go very well with a treaty system. After all, what is a treaty that you can't break and what is breaking a treaty, if no one can know it (or simply know it automatically). Of course both features are rather complex and will be missing early versions of the campaign but I think they both would be great. Finding out that for example Japan has broken the treaty (random example ^^), could trigger "Escalation clauses" that allow for bigger ships and bigger guns ect. Finding out and being right would gain prestige, a

  33. On the drydock side of logistics. I hope they will implement a limited number of drydock spots were you can build your ships. In RTW for example you could just build unlimited amounts of ships at the same time as long as you stayed within tonnage restrictions and had the funds to back it up. I think that once a shipyard starts building a ship it is occupied and you should only be able to build/redesign another ship if a spot comes available.

Id like to see how you will want to promote risk in pvp now. Pvp chest with loot almost same like in gold chest and few combat medals ?? Lol

She's great for hunting solo though and can beat a redoutable if you play your game correctly. @admin Please don't be mad at me for writing this, but you are not very good at managing expectations, which causes upsets with the community (or at least large parts of it). She has 5*2 13 inch guns (smaller than a Queen, but more of them), a 13 inch main belt (same as a Queen), and a speed of 26 knots (3 knots faster than a Queen). Also side note, my first design that has perfect stability without looking god awful, as i usually go for realistic looking designs which tends to result in front heaviness (my battlecruisers for example), but here it worked out fine!

Currently, the only ships we see are warships and trade ships. These would be sprites, static in nature, and could be client based graphics options like my animal suggestion above. They would be non-interactive, and exist simply to enrich the visuals at sea, lending more realism to the game.
