  3. Now there are a few things I have to say about this update. One - part overlapping still isn't fixed. I can't put things where they are obviously designed to go. Two: I would still like to be able to save custom battle ship designs. three - oh my god please fix the standard barbette not bein able to fit 16" guns, this shouldn't be an issue and this looks absolutely hideous. Four: Bring back funnel and superstructure rotation! That was so much fun and gave us actual freedom, by removing that it's removing some of the fun aspect of being able to make stupid ships that are ju

  7. Ma dudes, ever since the words "The upcoming campaign" were written on the last destroyer update, I've been counting the days since alpha 6 release. I'm so bored with quarantine, I honestly wouldn't mind a buggy as hell half finished campaign so long as we get a campaign at all soon. I literally bought HOI4 "Man The Guns" DLC with BI mod just to cope lmao. Plz send campaign soon before I eat my own computer. PLZ

  8. So here's my Idea of Float planes and what mechanics they will add to the game: Sections: Ship components Aircraft Mechanics Ship Mechanics Other additions Ship Components: I could say that the components could be narrowed down into 3 sections: Catapult, Crane, Parking rails/hangar. The catapult: The catapult could come in multiple forms- Planes have to always launch upwind. A catapult mounted on turrets- This would save deck space however decease turret traverse speed. A catapult turret- would take of deck space, but

  13. Let's see who I'm dealing with, here? A couple of heroes for sure. The first (the Swedish) is thinking of leaving the game because he can no longer win easily, he has a big mouth (good in a forum as a troll) but poorly equipped with balls (cannon). Unfortunately he lost his commander (he also left but continues to attend the forum because of boredom, waiting for the Russians to allow him to dream of conquering the whole map again). The second was a great admiral (remember that krake was the best RvR clan on the server, clearly in his own words, or perhaps this was his dream), who has

  14. Winning the war > giving up after 3 days. BSTD owns San Juan. It would appear that someone new owns SD. PS - By joining GB....aren't you now a vassal of Russia too? At least Massimo was a vassal before it was cool 🙂

  15. And how did Russia get so strong? Its because people would not work together to stop them. I remember people laughing at poor old Prussia when Russia decided to eject them from the Gulf of Mexico. Didn't people then realize that this would give Russia complete control of the Gulf. No, everybody was too busy creating their own little empires and squabbling among each other as Russia became stronger. In fact it was only because Russia held off attacking GB ports that GB got as big as it did, if not we would have been in this position months ago. Anyway, this is the great battles thread so I

  16. Havoc may be a small clan but it consists of mostly capable players who work together. On their own they cannot build a nation but they can have a great effect on a nation. I saw the difference Havoc made when they joined GB before the release I also saw the difference Llama made when they joined GB after release, but I have also seen what happens when these types of clans leave nations. After this happens a few time people in these nations stop bothering because they know the clans will move on again. This was why there was so much distrust in Llama when they came to GB, yes they helped win p

  18. @Cap Trujis you need to understand that the most imprtant ressource of the game is the morale. And with whining in forums about your oponent playing the game better that you, you actualy bust morale of your enemies, decrease the morale of allied players and therefore can also be a cause for declining numbers.

  19. No fact here, we play respecting the rules of RvR and RoE. Some months ago i warned you about VOX and their inmature and disrespectful behaviour, and you did not hear me. Your clan leader was the main person in trolling, harassing dissenting players and make toxicity in chats and forums, and this situation surprises you now? You have a problem, dude: you want to play vs a weak faction, and now, with screeners you are the weak faction, and this dislikes you. Sorry, but is your problem. Learn to make diplomacy.

  20. Tbf, it was Spain who flipped British port (Morro Chico) twice (and with real attack, not with no-show) before Brits retaliated.

  21. The battle was agreed, we did not bring ships higher than 550 br, and the brits did the same, both sides had new players. But i dont get why Anolytic is always blamed/the man pulling the strings and is in charge of the game. And what if we surrendered rather than you guys?? swedes would have been owning every port from Tumbado to El Rancho. Danes would not have a chance to recapture their ports. Brits would have died out, due to spanish attacks assisted by the swedes. And you guys would have been like "exit port and you lose your crafting port"

  22. I agree with you, at the moment you can not do anything better than trolling in the forum. Who knows, maybe next time you won't give up after losing a couple of port battles and you will be holding on longer. Who knows maybe you will accept more demanding challenges? I guess not however, you prefer simple wins (helped by 51) as against the English. Too bad you didn't continue against the Russians, but certainly that was a difficult challenge, and you and your heroes like to win easy. 51 troll commander 😜

  26. Maybe things like running live fire exercises could improve the skill of your crews but if you are near another nation say such as Japan is to China there is a chance you could accidently hit Chinese ships and raise tension, or you could have accidental friendly fire incidents. You could also have things like Naval funding increases if the press decides to show said live fire exercises in good light, or negative if they show it as a waste of money. It could also be a good way of intimidating a possible enemy that could either be a success or backfire and further down the path to war.

  29. My proposal is a Diving bell - it gives a historical correct feature to loot wrecks when they have already sunk under the water line - it helps new players to concentrate on the fight and not to get to the loot under the pressure that its too late when they arrive - to make it realistic and fair it could be an upgrade or a perk, so that players can decide either they want to use the space for it; or not to loot after the battle, so if they want to loot calmly then they would need to use an upgrade slot or a perk slot for it (propably would work better as a perk than as an upgra

  30. 1. Secondaries, when set to 'aggressive' mode, can fire at targets outside their range. For example, 5 inch secondaries can fire at targets 25+ km away. 2. Ships can detonate from penetrations or over-penetrations to locations outside the citadel. For example, a well protected battleship at 90%+ structural integrity may sink after an over-penetration to bow belt extended area. Is this intended? 3. Some suggestions to make the battle less arcadey: - Armour weight should not vary so much depending on technology. The deduction in armour weight with the latest technology makes

  31. 1. Magazines: a. Is it realistic for ships to use ammo from the magazine of one turret to supply another turret? b. Is it realistic for ships with more guns per turret or torpedo tubes per launcher to have more total ammunition? My assumption would be that a triple gun turret would not necessarily have 1.5 times the ammunition that a double gun turret would have, because the turret size and magazine size isn't increasing proportionally. 2. I have noticed that over penetrations of destroyers and torpedo boats are almost impossible to avoid, unless you hit the ship at very unusual an

I ask them afterward for time to time, how is it in clan xy to be a new player. I do this since 2 years. People, stop whining and organize new players in clans

  36. It definitely seems like Flash Fires needs to be reduced in frequency from all the posts. Not knowing what the rate is currently, I would say it probably needs to be 1/4 of the rate now. The rest should simply destroy the turret which is more common than a flash fire in the turret. That would probably bring the catastrophic detonations in line as well.

  38. Proposal: Animal life I would like to see whales, dolphins, flying fish, and albatross. These creatures are common in the ocean and deserve to be in the game. Current version is too lifeless. All of these creatures could criss-cross the open world map indefinitely, as they all tend to move in straight-ish lines. If you're worried about server load, make them client based sprites. No interaction is necessary and no need to worry about collisions. It's a quality of life - literally LIFE - suggestion.

Trades between George Town and Remedios (see below for a screen shot), take for example "Textile Machinery (13k/12)": Textile machinery: item drops in George Town and is consumed in Remedios which will indicate the highest profit margin 13k: for each textile machinery you can buy in George Town the estimated profit will be 13k reals after port taxes 12: the profit per distance is 12 (note that the distance used is not the direct line between George Town and Remedios through land but rather the shortest distance sailing on wate

  40. simple suggestion: more slots in the clan warehouse it's more of an adjustment for in between, but before it doesn't come anymore, i suggest it here. we now have s-wood, blueprints for these, one for each type of wood, new types of guns for each caliber, lots of new fancy boarding mods, permits .... and so on ... and still the same number of slots as two years ago

  41. Make the Mortar Brigg important again. Increase the range of mortars. By now the Mortar Brigg is a totaly useless ship. If the range of mortas will be increased over the range of guns on towers/forts, the Mortar Brigg can then be again an additional tactical Instrument in port battles. As the kill of towers and forts doesn't gain high points, it will not be the meta than it was in old times but a tactical weapon against the "gold-S-Wood" metaships. The damage model of a mortar should be: Towers and Forts: Mortar strikes reduces number of active canons M
