  1. This nation that has done a great job to become what we are now. I started playing when Russian Empire had only invisible Islands and Bermuda. It was hard. It was also a difficult time when we played several port battles a day, at different times. Perhaps the Russian Empire is an easy nation, but only for those who do not take part in RvR.

  3. The problem is that when we were at war with five Nations at the same time, no one complained. We were just doing our job. Why are you complaining? Besides, why do you think we'll ruin the game? Danes took all of Puerto Rico, and China took Portobello and neighboring ports. And soon we will give SdC to Britain. We do this to keep the balance. But we couldn't give those ports away, and in that case we would have really destroyed the game.

  5. This is exactly what will happen. Regardless of the many gripes we have with screening, major PBs are the servers only choice of content that involves more than 20-30 people. Taking that away I think will bring back the “elites” and small PBs for a short time...bit in the long term kill the population further. I could be wrong, but past coding decisions have typically been determined by cost and speed rather than quality...and I don’t see that changing.

  6. Sadly, I agree. With the disparition of screening, RVR could (would, should, might, this is the question) become a business for an handful of specialised players, always the same in a nation, who will do all the PB's, rejecting all other players out because, "we have no choice" or "this is something for very experienced players only" or "sorry but who are you?"... Casual, new players, independent will be out of screening before the PB, out of the battle during the PB, and of no use after the PB. This is the new content?

  7. One of the things that was keeping me from making videos of the game was the fix to the excessive speeds (not to mention, at far too early stages) that you saw in the battles. Good news indeed, was really needed ;). The other thing that's keeping me from making videos of the game is that there's no news about an overhaul of the armor layout system that produces ships were, for instance, the "armor belt" of the designer might aswell be swapped by "hull armor", magazines aren't always covered by your thickest armor, and has the effect of making the armored ends of ships so unrealisticall

  10. I read too much about how easy to play in Russia, tell me honestly? Do you really believe that? We had a war against 5 Nations: Sweden, Pirates, French, Prussia and Spain. And each of these Nations attacked the ports of the Russian Empire. It was incredibly hard for us to have 8 port battles in one day and we tried to protect everything. Sometimes we had to Wake up at 5am and go to port battles, and late in the evening we could play two more port battles. The game turned into a job and it was terrible, and now, after all this time, we can play for fun. So tell me, why do you w

  14. So does the 100+ kiloton warships. H-class was planned with steam/diesel propulsion (and so did Yamato at the first place). The first gas-turbine-powered naval vessel was the Royal Navy's Motor Gun Boat MGB 2009 (formerly MGB 509) converted in 1947(c), no? And don't forget, that's alternative history game, and unlike (unfortunately) nuclear propulsion, it's not even post-40s tech.

  18. I wish we had coastal battles in the campaign. While I am not a fan of WoWs or War Thunder maps, I think battling in open sea time after time, always, gets a little boring. Since this is a game, some variety would be welcome, even if only visual.

  19. For some users of the game it might be useful to change the standard white color with other colors within the chat window as shown in the examples below. To do so, you must change the language file of your choice. in this example the English location file. 1.) go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Naval Action\Languages" 2.) rename the "_English.csv" file to (for instance) - "English_color.csv". it's important not use the underscore in front of the file. this file is also then selected in game. 3.) open the renamed file with a text editor like note

Yeah but the era can be changed regardless, not sure why everyone gets iffy whenever someone mentions starting the game around 1870 etc. Especially since we have the first two pre-cussor ironclads to the dreadnoughts USS monitor and the other one. Also you seem to forget this isn't based on historical accuracy to the letter, but more on reality with the ability to create your own historical alternate situations in the campaign.

  25. Hello to all how read this, I would like to suggest a new ship called HMS Terror. HMS Terror was developed as a bomb vessel constructed for the Roayl Navy in 1813. She participated in several battles of the war of 1812. She was converted to polar exploration ship, about two decades later. I would like to see her in a game in her originaly design from 1813. She had armament of 8x24pd carronades, 2x6pd, 13inch and 10inch mortars crew was 67 men. It would be nice diversion to have a nother mortar ship in a game.   28. WTF - you have the biggest Player base and most Ports on this server. it's nearly impossible to sail on the bloody PvP Server without being attacked by a Player with a Russian flag on his ship. Russian Players are nearly in every Nation and even there they hinder other People on playing (best example when a Fleet sails to a PB and got attacked by Russian ALT's). I really don't know someone who isn't complaining about this. Let me say something to you (sorry when it sounds rude).   31. I would like to file a tribunal against player Camoybiuca from shock clan. He tagged my 3 lgvs and kept me in battle for over 1 hour only shooting my sails. He insisted i retreat all my ai which I obviously refused. He then persisted to shoot at my sails from a distance doing little damage but only with the intent to keep me in battle. I warned him twice of this but he refused. I dropped sails so that he would leave but he refused and stayed far away just shooting sails. I asked him to stop wasting my time he refused. Seems like he finally found some bravery in the last 15 minutes o

Introduce achievements and deeds including player kills, AI kills, ports visits and conquering, trades done, sailing mileage, cannon ball shot, battle surviving etc etc. Make some differences between achievements and deeds between nations and reward them all with cosmetic stuff, titles, ships, cannons, dublons, CM's etc.

  37. XP gain for Trader ships: As of today, you gain small amounts of XP just for saling around in OW. This XP could also be used for unlocking the knowledge slots on the specific ship used. In addition, this XP gain could be raised the more cargo your vessel holds during the voyage.

  38. DLC proposal: Figureheads. A cheaper DLC ($5?) That lets you change the figurehead of the ship. Seeing a bunch of the exact same Centaurs or Christian 7 models is weird. Give me a lion or mermaid!
