  4. Ich hab es ja heute schon angedroht und mir schwirrt es schon eine Weile im Kopf rum und deswegen habe ich angefangen meine eigene Autobiografie nieder zuschreiben. Das erste Kapitel ist schon fertig und der Link folgt gleich. Vielleicht noch ein paar generelle Vorworte. Es ging mir darum einige Sachen richtigzustellen bzw. meine Sicht der Dinge wiederzugeben.   7. Hello, because I have nothing better to do during quarantine, I have created idea for remaking a radar system in the game. I have created "little tech tree" for "researching" a radar system and gave each radar it's own statistics based on those currently available in the game and those that will sooner or later appear in the game. I did like the tactical battles in the naval academy and especially the detailed effects after a ship sinks (the oil slicks, life rafts etc,) but since in the campaign mode, the permament fleet (i.e the status of ships after a battle, no matter how strong they are, would be based on their floatability, damage and crew experience) would be decisive in the upcoming battles if the fleet does not anchor at a base. I wonder if it could be reflected in the campaign, especially after the battles. A strong battleship with heavy damage and inexperienced crew perhaps would like to return to base instead

Nur noch ein paar Anmerkungen von mir: Poryv du scheinst über die preußen absolut keine Ahnung zu haben denn so ziemlich alles was du über erste und zweite Blüte geschrieben hast ist quatsch. (es gab nen deal mit den Russen aber die haben sich gegenseitig übers Ohr gehauen und die preußen wurden dann mehr von innen zerstört) Wir waren mal mit havoc in der Nation was an sich einigermaßen funktioniert hat aber irgendwann war die Luft raus. Trade/fleet comfort proposal (Short cut for fleet hold + empty all hold at once button in docks) Difficult to manage feet ship holds effectively in port and OW for transporting/trading when entering port to unload and load Holds are split into 4 separate windows. To open each you have to go to your ships in port and separatly click on each of your ships holds to open the hold window for that ship.   18. Если требуется больше пвп, уберите дублоны из крафта кораблей, я как опытный крафтер могу сказать, что донат корабли портят крафт, хорошо что стало больше пвп, но уберите дублоны из крафта и его станет в 5 раз больше.

  20. Nein der ist noch da, nur Domain geändert und im Dornröschenschlaf. Aber überall diese Untergangsstimmung, das hat so etwas ansteckendes. Na zumindest finden die Vorschläge, die auf eine Reduzierung der Nationen hinauslaufen auch keine große Unterstützung. Aber hat das die DEVS je davon abgehalten, trotzdem nach eigenem Ratschluss zu handeln?

  22. Perhaps I am in the minority, but I do find my secondaries useful against smaller vessels. I love putting the big guns on a primary target and the secondaries on a destroyer. Usually they take care of business. That said, I do find a destroyer much scarier to my capital ships than a battle ship in most missions, so that indicates a problem...

It is just amazing how many times i have to click my mouse in this game to trade - set fixed value for myself on sliders for sell and buy, wy the 50% and wy cant i just hit enter? My proposal is a Diving bell - it gives a historical correct feature to loot wrecks when they have already sunk under the water line - it helps new players to concentrate on the fight and not to get to the loot under the pressure that its too late when they arrive - to make it realistic and fair it could be an upgrade or a perk, so that players can decide either they want to use the space for it; or not to loot after the battle, so if they want to loot calmly then they would need to use an upgrade slot or a perk slot for it (propably would work better as a perk than as an upgra

  30. Das Gefühl habe ich auch irgendwie. Aber es ist doch amüsant zu sehen. Egal ob du ihnen einen fairen fight gibt's oder nicht. Es wird einfach geflamed. Die einzige Nation die es zumindest nicht im Chat macht sind die Franzosen. Die nehmen das einfach hin. Kämpfen. Und kommen sogar mit einer revenge fleet wenn ihnen danach ist. Ich kann aber nur über die cns Franzosen was sagen. Und die sind bisher sehr freundlich und klopfen da nicht so in den chat

  33. In your report you also linked the twitch video. Twitch is very harsh on the doxxing so you can also try reporting the doxxers on twitch.   34. Above is an official position of GL. The reasoning is simple. Screens can be manufactured and only discord can check their validity. If we ban on screenshots and not logs it could lead to too many false cases. But if enought proof is established you have several options that can lead to complete bans of their accounts on Steam. But we hate doxxing and understand your view. Here is what i would do if i were you. 1st you have to establish the proof. You can do it by reporting those users to discord and if discord bans them (discord has logs) we can use it as a ground for the follow

  35. The answer is to accept that the damage model is at a very basic state and is intended to be considerably more sophisticated. I have to believe that as the damage/armour/damage repair models are the things I find THE greatest disincentive to play. I know only too well how things are likely to go, what ships will sink relatively easily and what will be ridiculously durable (hint: look at bulkhead status). It's been this way for pretty much the whole time. If it ISN'T going to change pretty dramatically then, well, that's game over for me.

  36. I know this might be a bit late, but could there possibly be modifications to turret models? Such as choosing a two or one gun turret being smaller than the three gun option. This isn't because I want to slap big guns on small ships, StopAskingQuestionsShutUp.

  37. Bring back ship's durability. Under the current system, it's way too harsh on players to lose a ship, specially on new players. A lot of pvp is avoided due to fear of losing ships. I propose to bring back durability and make it possible to recover lost durability with doubloons+reals, making it increasingly expensive to recover each time it's done. (Better and more expensive ships costing more to recover their lost durability) Durability as a bar with for example of 1000 points. Sinking taking off 200 points and also durability being lost over time. (for example 10 points a week, whi

  39. The "historically accurate" value of secondary guns in WW2 at least was as DP heavy AA when coupled with high angle fire control systems, potential shore bombardment use, and CLOSE defence. Oh, and for raiders to use to sink transports v main gun ammo. We can count out AA for a very long time at least, and we don't know much about opportunities for shore bombardment when it comes to capturing territory in the campaign. That leaves us with what constitutes "close", and just how effective would that 'defence' be. Grossly inflating the hit rates of everything has highlighted other

  40. Same, that's why I never bother with any guns smaller than 152mm. Though I usually try to never go below 203mm on secondaries. And when I want to sink a destroyer I usually point all my guns at her, including main artillery. Because usually it's the main artillery that sinks it.

  41. Gameplay sets limitations, such as number of shells and limited time to destroy enemies. Therefore, rigorous historicity is an obstruction in the way of enjoyable gameplay. Wise players who want to win realize they must abide by gameplay requirements, therefore secondary guns fall out of favor, and historicity dies - since there's no point in using weapons, which very essence realism advocates try to protect.

  42. This is an old battle between historians and gameplay. But we have to wait until the campaign release to see how viable units and there components really are, to see if historical components does equal historical fleets, cause if not then gameplay will have to be balance, like secondaries buff. But until then.

  43. Because secondaries are pretty much useless. Need need higher damage and accuracy in order to be effective - at least against destroyers. Right now, it's better to invest money and tonnage into something other than secondaries.

Scenario Example: 1 on 1 engagement (but not exclusive) Issue: In some Naval Academy missions (possibly in custom battles too) where the “enemy will not retreat” flag is not set, the AI after taking “unfavorable” damage will turn and run away. This would be fine except these mission’s victory conditions require the sinking of the AI ship.   46. The ottoman navy was never big or modern in any way shape or form, I can understand why they didn't put them in the game. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see the Ottomans but they just seem too ancient and too er.. terrible, to be a feasible faction in the campaign.   48. When pressing F at open sea to open "Fleet", i would like to see a thing, that shows what kind of books you have applied to the current ship. Example: a player might forget if he has marines or some gunnery book applied. Then when at sea, he can only know for sure if he gets into a boarding, i which case he will die.

  49. Port bonuses must be tied to the player. The player himself decides which bonuses to improve and which workers to train, finance. In case of loss of the city. The player can evacuate workers and save work papers (permit). And deploy in another city. Naturally, you will have to pay for it.

  50. You designed an amazing game, congratulations! 😊 1. I would like to see a feature to save a ship design. 2. The rearmost main gun hardpoint is impossible, because there is not enough depth for turret base and magazines. 3. It would be nice to have the ability to lock features before autodesign. E.g. I want a ship with a speed of 21 knots, so I lock the speed slider at 21 knots, before clicking on the light bulb.
