  2. Damage model needs serious work combined with AI not having hard limits on anything so it almost always outperforms the player. And the biggest issue in the current iteration being the target ship speed modifier to accuracy which renders your guns useless. Best example? German Pride. You cannot build a ship that goes more than 31 knots and still have enough weight/cost to do anything useful while the AI can field 381mm guns in 4 triple turrets, go 35+ knots and have a 500mm armor belt all on less weight than you. And they get a cruiser squadron and destroyer squadron in addition to your histor

  5. I would like to start by saying that I don't usually post and I tend to support game developers that make games that are historically based. This is not meant as a complaint but more as a constructive criticism from a casual gamer. I have no idea what you guys did when you tweaked the game in the last patch, but it is less enjoyable.   7. The devs really need to step up on improving the clan management aspect of the game. Right now it is way too vanilla compared to the clan management systems in other games. Here are some thinks I would like to see (some have been suggested before): 1. Customizeable clan member rank titles. 2. Permission levels for each rank. 3. Ability for leader/co-leader to set minimum clan bank balance. 4. Clan ship warehouse (up to 30 slots, one slot per 2 active members). 5. Automatic purge of inactive clan members (6 months). 6. Port incomes need to show in money log. 7

Много раз нападали под магическим воздействием ветра прямо у города от куда жертва выплыла чтобы по берегу дойти до соседнего. Много раз выходя из боя тебя настигает реактивная карма где фишка с инвизом и ускорением вообще ни о чём. Идея сократить время путешествий отличная, но механизм читерный.   10. A pound (unit symbol is lb) is a unit of mass. A 32lb cannon ball has a mass of about 14.5kg. The NA Victory has a cannon broadside weight of 1296lb (see netlify), this is around 588kg, or 0.588 Tonne. So, if the Victory carries 100Tonne of ball it could fire up to 170 broadsides before all 100Tonne has gone. However, before 170 broadsides have been fired either you, or your opponent, has usually sunk. If your 100+ tonne figure is correct , I reckon the game is fine for at least one 90 minute battle, no-one fires broadsides continuously. No need for rationing shot in my opinion

  14. In UGCW the missions are fixed, you have to fulfill the mission criteria in order to win, success of the win is the fun, filling the criteria is the challenge. In NA it's all challenge, the result is players target lower tiered ships for fun and equal tiers for the challenge. If NA was geared for fun then fun targets would be of equal tiers and the challenge would be of higher tiers. And the way I think it should have been for as then players would get to enjoy the game at their level, e.g. vs equal rank, vs equal ship models (as it was pre-patch 27). Tbh rather than seeing this small Dev Team wasting precious time on something like OP's proposal, I would prefer them to simply eliminate glaring issues with AI's ship design (make them more historical, less stupid, etc.) and then handle top priorities on already existing to-do list. Hopefully, implementing ability to design several classes of ships before combat, adding more DD and CL hulls, and finalizing the campaign.

  17. More important than ammo, is UNLIMITED repairs in battle. It kills everything. 3 repairs maximum in battle instance. This would change the game from the current arcade style to something much better. @admin please hear

  18. So where do you stop at realism when designing a game? Should we play the game in real time and take days to sail across the Caribbean? Should we have to load up food and water before we leave port? Does the food spoil on the journey? When we get killed in battle should we have to restart as a new character? You could choose any one of a million realistic things to complain about, but at the end of the day it is a game and certain things can be overlooked to make gameplay more enjoyable after all it is an escape from real life and not real life itself.   22. The question is, how could you possibly limit ammunition in a game that lets people repair so much damage to their ships? Before you even think about reducing ammo you would have to reduce or remove the magic ship repairs that take place in a battle.. We already have the imbalance of limited chain shot but unlimited sail repair.

  23. I know that the original premise of the game of design whatever you want however you want was abandoned due to AI issues, being that it (AI) couldn't design ships properly. I understand why you've opted for the current system in use. That said, this shift in focusing only on historical hulls, towers, secondary towers, funnels, etc etc, removes player choice in the design of their vessels and limits them to prescribed ship designs that were available at the time by nation by year. Dear all What do you think about Commemorative Flags for some special Events or Historical Events: For Example: Successfully completed the Exam My first Port Battle (successfully) and so on ...... Historical: Battle of the Chesapeake Trafalgar and so on ......... Admiral Flags: Flag for reaching the highest rank. Austrian Flag as an Example. (sick of the triple aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy studios and their scummy practices) Im pretty sure the devs will implement difficulty modes or scable difficulty depending on what happens in the match or game etc. Also it is the 4th alpha, and a very small dev team so things are not going to be instant and if they royally mess this up then well good luck to them having a stable financial future i guess.

  27. Liaison mission, asked by Admiralty, could be rewarded by permits. And, for sure, shallow privateer fleets. These fleets being impossible to be tagged by 5th rates and above, and composed of 6 elite shallow ships. Disabled in PZ (might be difficult to code).

  33. The only effect realistic limitations on ammunition would have that i can see, is that raiders would get faster the longer they fight due to expendet ammo, but they would not run out of it ;D

  38. I know I’m late to the party, so I don’t know if the devs will ever see this but here are the things I would really like to see in future updates. Naval Academy 1 -Split the Naval Academy into two sections on the main menu: Naval Academy, and Scenarios. Reason: “Naval Academy” sounds like a tutorial. There are currently 35 Naval Academy missions (thank you Devs and keep up the good work!). The first 8 or so missions teach you the basics of the game, while the other 27 are there for experimenting and exploring the mechanics you learned in the first few missions. For someo

This will remove the potential exploit of alts blocking the defense. Only group members, alliance clan members will be able to join hostility missions. This leaves the window for non clanned members to participate and help if they are invited to groups/battlegroups.

Q and E rotate the large battle map, which usually does not start in a N-S orientation. I find often find this confusing because the smaller large-area map in the lower right corner is oriented N-S. So if you are having trouble figuring out which direction are the bad guys or the retreat boundary, use Q and E to orient your battle map N-S. That said, when you are trying to board an enemy

  42. Visibility range on radar would work. Say heavy storm battle visible within 500m, 500-800m cant see the nation so its just a Grey ship icon, and above 800m its not spotted on radar. Different value in night time, lantern on/off would be a possibility, and different value in just fog

  43. They really should remove the home cam. In battles that are stormy, you sometimes can lose visual of the enemy ship, but you can still see where they are on the battle map...I think that if you can't see them visually that they should drop off the map or show their last spotted location.
