  1. The devs really need to step up on improving the clan management aspect of the game. Right now it is way too vanilla compared to the clan management systems in other games. Here are some thinks I would like to see (some have been suggested before): 1. Customizeable clan member rank titles. 2. Permission levels for each rank. 3. Ability for leader/co-leader to set minimum clan bank balance. 4. Clan ship warehouse (up to 30 slots, one slot per 2 active members). 5. Automatic purge of inactive clan members (6 months). 6. Port incomes need to show in money log. 7

  4. Сейчас в NA все больше и больше игроков юзают линейники. Этому способствовали DLS на 4-3 рейт, упрощение крафта, скопление 100500 ресов после последнего вайпа. Фрегаты в море встречаются все реже. Может стоит ввести патрульную зону для 5 рейтов? В Авесе и Ниппесе сделать зону для 5 рейтов вместо 1 и 4. Для новичков снизится порог входа в зону, а старички смогут снова насладится массовыми фрегатными боями.

Hasta ahora no ha habido otra solucion, se cierra y se anula el interes del contenido de manera instantanea, siendo sistematico este metodo de censura esta utulizado por algunos para acabar con un tema, empezar a faltar de respeto a proposito para activar la censura.   7. What you are saying is that there are acceptable motivations for alt clan abuse and non-acceptable ones. This is your point of view on the San Juan matter, but you have to admit that it's a rather selective point of view. I'm pretty sure that Danish clans have a slightly different opinion on that. Anyway, it should not matter why someone abuses alts, because then Ink would have to judge the motivations and intentions on a case-by-case basis.   8. A pound (unit symbol is lb) is a unit of mass. A 32lb cannon ball has a mass of about 14.5kg. The NA Victory has a cannon broadside weight of 1296lb (see netlify), this is around 588kg, or 0.588 Tonne. So, if the Victory carries 100Tonne of ball it could fire up to 170 broadsides before all 100Tonne has gone. However, before 170 broadsides have been fired either you, or your opponent, has usually sunk. If your 100+ tonne figure is correct , I reckon the game is fine for at least one 90 minute battle, no-one fires broadsides continuously. No need for rationing shot in my opinion

  9. But when you change nation you cannot take a port with you, you have to move all your stuff to free towns and you lose all your buildings when you change nation. So how did HAVOC manage to keep San Juan in this case? They abused the game mechanics to prevent other Danish clans the ability to defend the port. Your whole argument for it being different seems to be because you think it was done by a person with more than one account (e.g. an alt), but conveniently forget that the same abuse can be done without using alts, but using a friend in another nation or as in the case of San Juan, le

  10. So where do you stop at realism when designing a game? Should we play the game in real time and take days to sail across the Caribbean? Should we have to load up food and water before we leave port? Does the food spoil on the journey? When we get killed in battle should we have to restart as a new character? You could choose any one of a million realistic things to complain about, but at the end of the day it is a game and certain things can be overlooked to make gameplay more enjoyable after all it is an escape from real life and not real life itself.   11. Same as San Juan would have been okay if all of HAVOC had changed to Sweden and the port had gone neutral before they recaptured it. But they could not risk that happening in case someone else took the port. The game mechanics in both cases were used to ensure the port went to who they wanted it to go to and both cases are an abuse of the game mechanics no matter how you try and justify it.

В жизни столько разных роз всяким разным посудинам, возможно и в игре не помешало для играбельности более агресивно растянуть розы, а то печально смотреть на догоняющий по ветру Реквин, или летящую против ветра Беллону. А всё потому что в большинстве случаев лупой надо различия искать. Где в итоге решают установленные модули а не корабль.

  13. The question is, how could you possibly limit ammunition in a game that lets people repair so much damage to their ships? Before you even think about reducing ammo you would have to reduce or remove the magic ship repairs that take place in a battle.. We already have the imbalance of limited chain shot but unlimited sail repair.

  14. Several good ideas but I would suggest steering away from points 5 and 8. If someone has real life issues that requires them to be inactive being automatically ejected from the clan may not be the best option if the person is already dealing with a bad situation. 8 may not work for those members that do not or can not generate the minimum amount of the tax (new low rank players).

  15. @admin you really need to sort out this game with regards alts ... seems there is one rule for some and different rules for others ,,, Trux is no different to San Juan ,, unless Havoc can prove ,, that no one in Danish Havoc had a swedish alt and no one in swedish havoc had a danish alt ... did the guys who attacked San juan really sail all their ships and goods out of san juan to a neutral port and then change nations ,, and then sail it all the waty back ,,, hilarous if you suggest so ... they just used alts and traded the ships and goods between them after port was taken ... we

The proof is that HAVOC owned San Juan when they were Danish and when the clan moved to Sweden they left some clan members in Danish nation and removed all the other Danish clans from friend list. If the whole clan had moved then the port would have turned neutral. They claim that there were some players who were not playing that were still in Danish nation, but this does not cover the fact that there was a deliberate removal of clans from the friend list to prevent any sort of defense of the port. Про заход фрегата это ты к чему? Это всегда и везде было и для решения этой проблемы надо менять игру. К патрульным зонам это отношения не имеет от слова совсем. Риггинг шок... Если ты не можешь повернуть паруса и пропустить книпеля мимо, а потом овершиагами свалить от большого корабля, то я не понимаю чем ты занимался все эти 2-3 года игры. 5 рейты- мелководье . Смешно.   21. По розе ветров тоже хочу поплакать. Простой пример. На днях пятидырочного пиратского фрегата фир фир, зафиченый куперплатингом, секстантом, элитным испанским догнал по ветру, внимание!, Ингерманланд. Я был в ахуе)) Зарешало "историчность" розы ветров и отсутствие кормовых орудий. Пиратский фрегат гавно? Нет, но больше ходить на нём не буду, хоть и очень приятный корабль. Вот потому и у нас рейт экшен практически. Все розы ветров слишком похожи. Для играбельности надо править.

  22. Si pero hay que siempre poner por delante la salud del juego. Los devs modifican este aspecto porque varios clanes se han quejado del abuso. Los devs, parece ser, que lo consideran un abuso. Por lo tanto ahora toca modificar el sistema. Yo tampoco me importa si beneficia o perjudica a una nación mientras no perjudique a la mayoría de jugadores. Yo estoy a favor de que tenga un coste más allá que el riesgo de que te pillen en la batalla de calentamiento. Pero puede ser un cambio que puede acabar trastocando toda la economía del juego.

  23. Думаешь Дрону большая разница убивать 5 рейт или 4ый? )) А так да, тоже заметил на Редутаблях ганкающих в патрульке 4ые рейты. Можно сделать просто отключая возможность тагать если у тебя корабль выше рангом чем патрулька. Кароче я тоже за фрегатную (5.ранга) патруль. Аги, Ингеры такое.

  25. Одно плохо, будут ходить всякие "старые упыри" на 3-4 рейтах, чтобы фармить фрегаты в такой зоне. Подобная ситуация, насколько мне известно, уже происходит в зоне Ниппеса, где должны бы быть 4-5 рейты. А тащатся на рейтах или 3шках. )) Хитренький дрончик, хочет фрегатчиков фармить. Мало килов? )))

What I'm seeing is that damage through gunfire and torpedos is not going to be made better by making those more damaging, longer range, accurate etc. etc. but rather by working on the floatation, compartment and armour systems. They're already incredibly far from the real weapons systems and ships don't sink - or depending on the patch - 2in guns sink battleships. For those asking for more freedom with ship designs, including and especially custom hulls, I think this is a similar dilemma. And what about a ruling regarding what happened at ports like San Juan where a clan who owns a port decides to change nation but leaves at least one player in the former nation to remove all other clans from friendlist so no other clans from the nation can defend the port? What happened at Truxillo was not against the game rules but it was an abuse of mechanics the same as what happened at San Juan was not against the rules but is also an abuse of the game mechanics. Are we going to get a hotfix for this abuse so it cannot happen again?

  30. by the way just as a heads up, in real life too, All or Nothing was merely a design philosophy and a guideline, it does not mean LITERALLY no armor whatsoever outside the citadel and turrets/barbetts. it just means maximum armor possible to vital parts, while reducing to the reasonable bare minumum (but rarely to nothing) other armor. in most places a few mm of armor to act as anti-splinter and anti-HE was kept. and in addition, there is almost always a decent amount of casemate armor for the upper decks, plus some rather heavy armor on some crucial parts outside the citadel too, like, of

  35. imho, причина еще и в стоимости модулей, которая одинакова, и сильно подросла до кучи. ну и еще в этом (тринька, конста, ингер, редутабля) Плотно все. Очень плотно. Поэтому предложений два: 1. разделить модули по рангам, чтобы фитить фрегат было значительно дешевле 2. отбросить исторический реализм (привет вам, локи руна и радар) и перебалансировать уже скорости. Во всех практически играх более легкий юнит быстрее и маневреннее. Хотя, выкинуть из какого-нибудь патруля 4 рейты и запретить в зоне таг высоким рангом низкого намного проще, и это очень хорошая мы

"CRED members have proven a stable rock for Britain for many years" While this might be true, CRED has proven to be more of an issue than a rock the last couple and months and I think GB will benefit from them leaving. As far as them running the GB Discord, they have been known to kick or ban people from it that argued against them or didn't share their opinions. A nation discord should have admins from all clans. Not just one.

  40. I have very much enjoyed playing the early access American and British campaigns. I've hit a few bugs here and there, but overall everything has been quite playable. So, thank you for all of your hard work! Now you have me addicted and I am suffering withdrawal symptoms. I managed to capture Le Conquerant at the battle of Savannah Blockade, suffering huge damage to my fleet in the process. To capture Le Conquerant, I actually had to board three times with different ships, and also had to reboard two of my own ships to win them back when le Conquerant won the first two boarding actions.

I would say (but this is not new and I believe the developers were working on this) also the way the citadel is represented in game should be revised, it is just too simplified for what it tried to model. Effectively citadels done the right way (especially turtleback) cause ricochets thus protecting the most critical structures of the ship. That is something different imo than flat bonuses and maluses like 30% or so less chance for damaging the engine.

  43. I just downloaded the game and played the naval tutorial twice. The second go round I set my gunners to fire grapeshot as it closed for boarding. seemed to work well for me.

  44. Another thing that I don't like The lack of interaction between Open World life and players' activities. Actually OW is pretty much dead and barren static arena where NPCs concentrated around ports serve as placeholders for players. NPC traders don't trade, NPC-warships don't react on players' actions (except for Privateer Fleets). When you sink NPC, it simply respawns - that's the only influence on OW life players can do. While actually NPC activities should have some purpose and when you sink them, there should be some consequences for the OW life Same is true when it comes to trad

  45. Hi dev. I have been thinking allot about how to make armor mechanics, but probably not as much as you guys. I am certain that you already have plan for armor. Yet, maybe I came up with something that would help you. I made allot assumption on how the game works while doing this, some may be wrong but I do not think they discard the concept.
