  3. Alt farming is against the rules even if it is for testing as people seeing the combat chat and rank leaderboard do not know that and will demand blood. We know it happens from time time but nobody has the guts to get himself onto a first place of the leaderboard. We recommend returning all trades done with other characters this day to your account (for important assets like doubloons, quest rewards (combat marks and chests and their contents) as all trading partners are considered suspects as real alts usually try to wash the trades down the chain. ROVER's treatise of proper raiding 10x madagascar jewels 5x captured "cargo" 5x captured "passenger" 2x Sealed bottle Increases doubloon gain by 0.1 (So if you would loot 100 dbs by RND you actual get 110dbs - doesnt apply to sinking/assist reward) Unfortunately that requires that captured passenger and cargo need to be flagged as "captured". When I remember correctly Game labs was considering that. Because currently most of those missions are dumped. Its unpractical to keep them. Clan: SeaRovers [ROVER]

  9. It's because you can have your docks full and still have up to 3 ships in fleet that might not fit in your docks, I guess? But if I may add onto your post there's another game pop up message I'd like to see gone; the confirmation to send fleet ships to docks is completely unneeded. Confirmation messages should only be there for things you can't undo.

  11. We had a NPC raid against Nassau today. Normally the port has 2900 BR. When there's an NPC Raid the BR changes to 2500, but the AI still brings 2900 BR (2880 to be exact). Defenders are limited to 2500 BR. AI exceeding the BR limit is not in line with patch notes: And therefore must be a bug. Moreover. The spawn locations in Nassau makes it impossible to tactically prepare for what the AI might do. These are the spawn locations in Nassau and how you would prepare for them in a reasonable scenario: 1 fleet always spawn from either position 1 o

In Ultimate Admiral:Age of Sail, they have been greatly expanded and the number of points you receive from battles has been greatly increased. Note: I apologize about the guide being incomplete and not having the POI experience you can earn. I just don't have enough time to replay through everything to find out and really would like to post this guide anyway as its 95% complete. Note: This guide is not meant to tell you how to spend the points as there are several different strategies. My recommended point distri

You send up as crow's nest spotter a member of your crew with best identifying skills and sharp eyes. Regular spotters will only tell you what type of ship in what direction and how many in fleet. The premium/excellent/genius spotters give you far more information than that. They have the experience and insight to tell ships apart in their specifications due to the most insignificant details only the

  17. Dear Dev, We got a problem tonight in a battle. 3 players disconnected in 3 min in our side. Our 2 ocean were DC in the 3rd minutes of the battle, impossible to fight and i lost mine, a gold ocean :(. I try to deal with Sekiro but, you can read his answer on the 2nd screen... May be NN guys could confirm to you what they saw !? So i ask you, devs, a compensation for this lost. It's really frustrating to looze a ship by this way. Apparently, a lot of other guys where DC in the game at this moment. Mb you have more information than me about this problem. Sorry for my poor e

  18. I did. Looks like my information was a bit outdated, must have been from a previous version of the mod. In that version, there was pretty much no apparent reason for not swapping all of the 3inchers out with 6lb pea shooters (what I used to call them in vanilla), which is both cheap and easy to do as they're lying around in piles in the armory. In 1.25, however, they're quite a bit better compared to the 6lb'ers. Not up close, they're about equal there, but that's both right and proper.

  19. In one hand, You've used words as "anihilate", "holed and exploded", and similar superlatives in this thread. Which just make no sense given the actual damaging potential of the guns you're talking. And which are conductive to, and implicitly entail, the concept of destroying the enemy ship. Something those guns couldn't really do against massive capital ships designed to stand damage from guns far larger than those we're talking about. On the other hand, you didn't say "sink", but the problem reported here and that has originated this discussion, is that those guns DO sink ships t

  20. There is a feature of the game that does not allow players to teleport while ships are in fleet. if we are on a main ship the game does not make us send it to docks before we teleport, but for some reason it does so for fleets. My suggestion is instead of forcing the player to move ships manually to docks when they are in fleet, the game instead just sends fleet ships to docks before teleporting. No need even to provide a message to the player, just send them.

  26. When you attack ai, and you capture it. The captured ship gets a random frame and planking. No body can tell me that bloody ai, which I had trouble penetrating, was actually fir/crewspace. So my guess ai uses better ships, after you sink or capture, woods are generated.

  27. There were many 8'' marks in US Service. The baseline was the Mk9 , yes, but what came later up to be the llater Mk13 or Mk.14s, they were essentially the same gun. THe difference mostly coming from having either a partially chrome-plated or a fully chrome-plated bore. At any rate the Mk9 was the basic 8'' many other US 8'' marks were designed to look like. And the Mk9 shells could pen the same 10'' of armor it's Mk14 sibling could...only this one could do it from 1000 yards less (10in penetration@9000yards). Which is not as good....but it's still comparable to the german 20.3cm gun.

Likewise her sister ship Zhenyuan took 220 hits and was similarly still capable of fighting. Not an all or nothing armor scheme, but much of her superstructure was unarmored. At the same time, the Japanese large protected cruiser Matsushima suffered some 100 casualties and was knocked out off action by a single 12-inch shell.

Fairly easy to capture whales, increasing chance the further you are from land, through space limits amount, gives alot of provisions and whale oil. Whale oil can be converted to luxurary trade resourses in a workshop, like soap, candles and cosmetics. Sells high in ports that are low in trade income, they dont get alot of visitors so they pay more for basic luxary. Like candles and soap. Might aswell put in some dubloons to be gained somewhere there to make it anothe

  37. How about new flags that actually provide buffs kinda like in WoWs? They could vary from signal flags to small ensigns that could replace all or just the signal flag on the furthest back mast. That way you get visualisation of the upgrades plus eye candy Is that to hard to code? Example: Ionian Crew Detachment Slight morale and Defence buff or etc. Requires: Indigo, Linen (resources that actually used for the colours of the flag) and food So the flag gets replaced by this:

  38. Flotsam and Jetsam book (or perk, could be either or). Equipping creates a chance to find "flotsam" debris on the water while Fishing is on. Debris being seasoned woods, tools, barrels of trade goods/upgrade resources or whatever. Maybe a couple swedish carpenters from a shipwreck floating around on a couple planks. Wink wink. The woods/masts/planks you find would be seasoned wood from some unknown wreckage floating around the ocean. Increased chance to find flotsam (debris) Increased crew amount on sailing (lookouts for debris) Lowers speed by whatever contest winner right
