  1. Someone like that is not a proper solo player. Solo players rarely interact with anyone. They don't use the forums in most cases. They just keep to themselves. There are actually no real solo players left in open sea. Few years back there were a few but reinforcments drove them away. The game is not designed for solo players. There is nothing compeditve about it anymore. Whoever grinds the most wins. This is an obvious fact. I sank to a player yesterday that I must have smashed 10 times in the open sea. He won because he farmed mods and ships. Fair play. He did what was required. For a player

  2. We need more ranks and we need ability to adjust them. In fact, remove Diplomat and Officer ranks altogether. Allow us to make our own rank, name them and give them specific privileges/responsibilities. The abilities that we need to be able to assign to custom ranks are: - Recruit new players (send clan invite); - Promote to specific rank (for example recruiter can promote from recruit to member; - Give adjustable access to clan warehouse.   4. Sure. How we get it all? Easy. I ganked British fir/fir trinc with my Hercules. On this trinc with Moscalb fir/crew space belle we went to danmark. Near La Mona we capted purple connie with full bonuses and after that went to dutch. There we capter 3 purple wasas with Naval Clocks and good bonuses in one day. Its all way from medium guns herk to best ships with best upgrades. I turn herk with medium guns to wasa with naval clock and long guns for 5 hours. 2 players. 5 hours. 2 shit free ships and 10 noobs on our way. No craft. Only pvp. Not fair to say that game doesn't let solo players h

  6. 2 things. 1. pirate rig refit only affects your speed inside a battle instance, it will not increase your speed in the open world and it won't show a difference on your ship's card. It is even better to say that pirate rig refit affects your sailing profile in battle (which normally does give you more speed at certain angles to the wind). 2. anything that increases your base speed, like copper plating, will increase your OW speed and battle speed. the max speed you can have is 15.5 knts. If you want to get the max-speed out of a T.lyunx, then craft it as a fir/fir ship if y

  9. This game needs some hello kittying balance. This is one step toward that. There is no way a Oak/Crew Space-Medium Gun-No Mods-No Books-No Port Bonus-Blue ship navigated by a Captain should have the same 'Battle Rating" as a fully decked out ship with the rarest mods, all encyclopedias, maxed port bonus gold ship sailed by an Admiral.

  11. To answer your question: An elite pirate/navy hull/copper on a fir/fir t-lynx MIGHT do it on a fully loaded t-lynx... (although in my humble opinion, nothing fully loaded should be able to reach the speed cap) But as with all battles, the tag will determine whether you get caught or not...

  15. 1. Эссекс имеет на 20-30% меньше хп чем бель пуль. Следовательно вес залпа у эссекса не имеет значения т.к. у вас просто меньше хп и урон в минуту его не перекрывает. 2.   18. at the moment they are all the same. perhaps a rng random port bonus would be nice (redeemed in port bonus port) just to give a little twist and make them all different. after all they are being built in a port bonus port ( or, if not ,no pb bonus) it would be a nice feature.. for the dlc

  22. Everyone knows how frustraitig it is when AI keeps doing its turning cycle to your stern making him usually die to upwind. And if you are in group there is many enemies around, you just dont have time to loot any enemies before they go too deep. I suggest you can "Retrieve" loot in battle by button sending "longboats" to the shipwreck (add drop down menu to choose shipwreck). This would lock your ship at place for lets say 30 Seconds? And after that loot from the ship you have selected, it will open in trade window for you. You would need to send the "longboat" to all the wrecks inviduall

  23. Normal difficulty start. On day 1, a four man squad walks directly into my village and kills everyone. Not on a road. I was out getting wood for a few more arrows. I was able to kill three of them after they slaughtered all of my weaponless day 1 warriors, but ran out of arrows since I only had wooden arrows and I'm am not very skilled yet. Please tell me this will be patched soon. Also, please make the tutorial toggle-able. soon. very soon. for the love of god, soon... Right now, I'm having to restart games hoping for a village that won't be walked in on by enemy squads. And it's a sputt

  24. here is what happened, Rocko and I sail together, we saw mission right on free town docks 270 RU vs 360 FR, I see merc outside about to join RU, I join RU side, Rocko joins FR side, merc join RU side. I had no intention of killing Rocko, I took on the elite belle poule and sank the belle poule, took the loot from the belle poule, the other belle poule sank the merc, I loot the merc and I watch the end of battle. I did not green on green, did not ram/push. I know its not a fair situation, but I do not think its against the rules.

  27. I will never put expansive mods on tlynx. Fir/Fir purple or gold, fast or very fast. May be I can put copper etc. Fir/Fir blue tlynx deserves cotton sails, standart pirate refit, optimised balast, trim speed, art of ship and other knowledge books, that is it. Never load it fully. Only rare ships can catch you, most will not bother. Felix map is the best tool to see your speeds with different ship woods, upgrades and ship knowledge.

  31. Ja, du kannst die Schiffe in deiner Flotte beladen. Hold Optimization gilt, wie bereits gesagt, nur für dein Hauptschiff, nicht jedoch für die Schiffe in deiner Flotte. Du kannst bis zu 3 Schiffe in Flotte nehmen mit den entsprechenden Perks. Plus Hauptschiff macht das maximal 4 Indiaman: 4x 4000=16000.

  33. The only real plus to the DLC ships is as Stalememes said, you can redeem them in any port. That is it. You can say "with the proper upgrades" this and that and all you're doing is adding variables. Any ship can be a "beast' with the proper upgrades, but apply the same upgrades on a crafted ship and it will beat a herc. So the end result is that the DLC's are good for fast response ships without having to use a tow to get a ship to a particular port. And even then, chances are you will be stuck using medium guns as most of the DLC ships are viewed as throwaways to respond or harass someone who

  34. Pretty sure they are not, after Prussia beat Spain in 2 PB's the Russians forced the Spanish to fight ("Take Prussian Ports or we will take yours", Spanish in Ships Produced in Vera Cruz) they attack Spain now to get rid of the Prussian Ports up there.

  38. please consider the unmatched benefit DLC ships have of being redeemable, every day, in any wood, in any outpost anywhere on the map. If port bonuses are added to this then DLC ships will become the absolute dominate and pay2win for PB's and OW combat. (ESPECIALLY shallow water)

Its always nice when you standing next to the ship whose structure has shot down and being shot at from that in very close proximity and from the remaining opponents additional always happily in the back. You can not even avoid, if you want to have the loot. Or in the best case you will boarded by the sinking opponent. How was it before patch 10? You defeated one opponent and turned to the next, or an opponent had shot down so far, that he is out of action and falls back slowly sinking.   44. I have had a few frustrating games. The one thing that bugs me is the gatherers getting killed so easily. They need too try and avoid camps. i was trying to take out a camp, and 1 of my gatherers came running in firing arrows at 5 guys. He started it. He had no chance, and was killed in couple of shots.

  45. Better solution: if you like the challenge of navigating without your location fix, don't equip sextant perk, there are plenty of other options . Let the rest of the players who don't want to deal with the annoyance of using outside applications to find out where they are have their GPS perk. Majority of players I speak with prefer it that way because we feel Naval Action's strongest part is fighting battles, and the weakest part is OW sailing and econ/trading. I've played when we had no navigational tools, then the grid squares and coords, then nothing but trader tool & compas
