  1. I assure you having to click 50+ times to craft a first rate because "lol its fun to make parts" was not good. It was just annoying I still have ptsd from making ballast 32 at a time when ships needed many hundreds. Oh hey you want to make carriages well you will need mediums and large and oh yea have fun clicking several times for each of the several parts required to make just the carriages. Ship customization like a clan flag or a custom name plate would be far more enjoyable.

Dear devs, since the game is heavily based on clans and clan activities, would it be possible to create clan docks where the clans’ shipbuilders could just store ships and members could use them much like the clan warehouse where the officers and above rankings are the only ones with the ability to do it. I think it’s a win win feature that everybody would like.

  4. I often wonder whether trader escort missions should be a thing. Because a lot of traders get ambushed while AFK. To make things a little fairer for the trader I was thinking that traders should be able to issue escort missions linked to the trader mission. They could pop up in nation as a message across the screen like when wrecked fleets are announced. You could even join the trader anytime during the journey and link to him\her on the sea. Of course the reward would get smaller and be awarded for the distance travelled with the trader. I guess a TOW button could allow the escort t

  5. Dear DEV´s, in addition to my former posts, some things should also be proved: 1. The AI-ship population is, in comparison to the Players population much to low. The Players need a additional source to develop their character and to gain fightable ships 2. You can cross the whole caribic, but you coudn´t find any sealed bottle. The drop points for the wrecks are also to low, and the load isn´t partly not very useful 3. More posibilities for PVP-hunt missions Thank you

  8. I seriously think it will be great to have a starter nation with a story mode, which may be in the PVE server or PVE only instance. Starter nation can also be any non-hardcore nation like Spanish / British etc. in a PVE only environment. Story mode will transition into PVP server / instance when the time comes. Heavy use of battle instance graphics as intros into game, into battles etc. Nice additions of cartoonish story modes, selections into game. Creating a structured introduction to make the experience more immersive. * Starter nation is also a tutorial, which has a nice small story.

  9. There should be more ai ships, and mainly solo ai for solo players to have something to fight. But I disagree with the bottles, I catch one every few hours, sometimes none for days, but still enough. The probability of finding them is well balanced in my eyes.

  10. Problem seems not to be about crafting carriages, but that you could only craft so few at a time. Should have been fixed with a slider or ability to craft as many as you can you your available LH. Crafting parts still make more sense than grinding dubs.

  11. Do ports with that labor office thing get double or something for having an academy? As far as I know you can build academy anywhere and still convert.

  13. To begin with, I have to tip my hat to the developers. This game is something else. I have, for a long time, wondered when someone would create an open world game that lives around you and is always a new play through. One with intelligent AI and one that gives you a thrilling experience and prevents save scumming in order to demonstrate "an alive character" atmosphere - well here it is, this game. Question about liberated territory. When you liberate a territory and have red X's in the camps / forts, can the enemy retake those? Or, once a "county" is secured, it is forever yours? al

  14. This is a fantastic idea. Wasn't this what was happening before? You could; 1) spend a bunch of money and just buy all the parts from various shops, 2) for less money you could buy the resources and craft the parts, or 3) for much less money you could collect resources and then craft the parts (but you had to first build mines, plantations and forests). This created niche businesses for some of us. I made barrels and had a profitable little operation. I knew a guy who made lots of money from producing another material. Seemed like wonderfully complex

  15. i always thought , that 1 slot in a clan dock per member would work. this is based on every account only getting 1 slot per clan they are in ( one ) already been asked for many times and perhaps there are reasons why , behaves the same way as a clan warehouse ? what we cant have is every alt getting a clan dockspace with 50 of their own slots as we have a dlc for that !! : )

  16. Yes I tried that a few times and no luck. I also realize I should have probably moved them to the warehouse first, but given the option to "Split" within the money chest, I assumed it would have worked.

  17. Allow Clans to Build a Clan Shipyard in their Capital with the Warehouse... Make it Cost Stupid amount.. But then allow the Clan to set which of their ship builders can use it... Rather then having each guy build a shipyard in the same port... Have 1 good one.. They could still have their own in other ports if they want.. but it is silly to have a dozen when one big one would work. It would also allow for crafting from the warehouse storage if coded properly.. I think I suggested this like 2 years ago also:)

  18. This was no gank, but revenge for a gank by the most feared captain on the seas, Ram Dinark. Sadly, Ram's 5 friends all escaped. However, we extracted Ram of his feared Wasa that somehow would push 3 of our ships with ease at 50% sails.

  21. Good. Sounded like you might be asking for escorts to be able to teleport to a trader's location. I should learn to read. I really like the idea of syncronizing speed and heading in a group. Max speed based on the slowest ship. Regulated by the leader. I play solo and have found clans very helpful and friendly to me. They help me trade. You can trade or help a player and receive payment or reward from the player, or trade/help a clan and receive support from the whole clan. Player made content is great.

  22. No I am not asking for traders to teleport. Game would be empty. As for clans escorting... that is not as fair on the smaller bands or lone players. Rather nations should have a way of helping national players.

  23. The best way to do it would make trading actually a viable profession one in which large cargo shipments are meaningful and valuable. Players would then privately set up escorts which is a much safer option. Clan wise before the wipe we would buy up hundreds of Parisian furniture then make a massive treasure fleet and sail in straight into KPR it was almost like a server event. That kind of cargo is extremely valuable and if a group got word it was coming and felt they could raid the fleet could stand to make a massive profit.   25. What is good about the raids that we want? a) Instant action; b) Non permanent results So why not the old Flag system? Its already done. Not much code required, etc. Benefits are undeniable. We WILL have player population jump right back when flags will return. Means more cash for the devs and more content for the players. What was good about flags? The instant action! What was bad about flags? Loosing ports when you cant defend them Flags bring back instant action. But because its a raid this means that its only a temporary port capture. Say for couple of days. Sounds really nice: Instant Action, Raids during Port Timers No Port ownership for days, one time event, cooldown for a week Rewards are handed out in form of treasure chests that contain Doubloons, Reals, port special resources (rare woods, module ingredients) Bring your traders along to carry chests, chests will appear like wrecks in front of town, can be exploited until finished traders are a target for retaliate action after raid, you need to escort them home, planning a route (escort mission for all players of the nation to help, everyone will try to hunt the

  28. Hey! Main issue: I find it annoying to have to claim my rewards after doing a patrol. Now we do not have to take the mission before we sail, this is great! But this was just 1/2 of the issue. I seriously do not understand why it can not auto collect for us @maintenance. Why do we have to remember to claim our rewards? It is just not user friendly imo.. It auto claimed for us by the game when maintenance starts would make this 100% user friendly/idiot proof.. Then there is the weekly: light ships, frigates and line ships. Why can this not be auto activated for all players who log on?

  29. Since day one when I've become a pirate I wanted an option to trade in OW with players. Specifically sending money across. Not even goods. Before trading in OW was done I even proposed a trade window to be able to open in Battle Instance. Well devs made trading in OW and its even better. What I dont understand is why we can trade with enemy players in ports, but we cant trade in OW? For a pirate most important reason will be offering to pay ransom. See screens bellow... This was only possible due to the player being honest... I indeed will also take credit for trusting his word 😎

  30. He is not my alt, he has a clan and he had to ask his friends not to attack me. On the way there I also talked to another pirate, keeping him off. Yes it was 1 off. No, not because players wont use it, but because there is no way to pay other than dock You would rather sink? Its great to have a choice isn't it? 😎

  31. Why keep the port for 3-5 days ? They raid and they run away. Port should have some period of immunity after a succesful raid. Raid should be instant finishing in an hour or so. Port production including tax, resource etc. should be due to previous days average. So when raid is finished, raiders loot chests, small chest of 500 tons or big chest of 1000 tons. Let's say there are 6 small chest of 500 tons and 3 big chest of 1000 tons. You are free to loot if you can carry and escape. These chest should be like deadman's chest, must be claimed in port, when claimed reals/doubloons/resou

  32. A few more flags on DLC and also obtainable via Admiralty. I think the first two would benefit a lot, community wise ( i'm biased for the 1st one ). Third is just special ( and been researching their theme a bit lately ). - Portugal ( included in GB ) - Texas Navy ( Included in US ) - Cossack Black Sea pirates ( served both Empire of Russia and Commonwealth so not sure ).

  34. No need any siphoning or time sink. Raid is all about fast action. Raid the port, whatever is in the buildings you can take - for free. Fill up what you can carry and piss off. Make few trips if necessary with trading ships. This way clans organize attacks, take resources and leave. And the owners of the place wont really lose anything. Yes production will be stopped for a day or two, but who cares, after raiders leave that will be reinstated again and they will get back their resources in couple of days.. Win/Win

  38. Find that one battle you think you enjoyed the most during early access and feel free to share it here. It seems like a good time to look back on the good times we all had before we start all over again. My favorite was back when Bork was in France. We set up a port battle at Santa Marta and showed up in force, but while the Brits had filled the PB we got caught by the Dutch screening fleet just outside. We destroyed the Dutch fleet and captured their Pavel (this wasn't long after the first big wipe so it was an important ship to have). After that, we decided to head back to port to repa

I remember starting in a Santisima, I put the final broadside into King of Crowns' Santisima, then as I was being focused and sinking, rage boarded the enemy Victory near me, capturing it while losing my own ship - I think it got counter boarded and sank. The Victory ended up sinking too. What a glorious fight. The score doesn't express how close it was, and I believe we had significant wind disadvantage from the start.

  41. You ask the impossible question. I've got too many favorite battles....Like Do I post my favorite duel with JPV or Privateer? The time I co-led the BLACK first rate PB fleet to a decisive victory over WO? The time we had a no-loss first rate PB on our side, whilst sinking every single one of the enemy's ships? Some of the massive Cartagena fights? Or maybe the time we had a 4v21 and won? Ehh, I'm just going to post one of the more interesting battles.   44. yes.. originally in the sea trials they were giving a boost to turning we are planning to give more uses to battle sails 1) increase turn rate 2) reduce fire chance 3) increase fire chance if you are not on battle sails some magic has to be done with animations so they are well integrated into the sequences.
