Vintois Posted April 18, 2015 Share Posted April 18, 2015 Hello I have only been playing a week or so but I have notices when I take damage at the stern of my ship it sometimes shows up as damage to the bow of my ship on the armor diagram. DazednConfused Posted April 18, 2015 Share Posted April 18, 2015 Once you have lost all armor on one side, the cannon balls go through and hit the opposite side. it doesn't necessarily have to be bow/ stern. just how it is in damage 3.0. don't worry too much - a new model is coming soon. Vintois Posted April 19, 2015 Author Share Posted April 19, 2015 I appreciate the response I am aware of this and it is not what I am seeing while I am in combat I will get hit in the stern or the bow and occasionally the damage will appear on the opposite side. Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 Even in Damage Model 3, it is possible for balls to go all the way through. Damage Model 4 will be added to the Open World, so for now, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in the Sea Trials Damage Model as it is no longer the "current" in production code.
