Make refits in shipyards / Refits in Werften herstellen

Recommended Posts

@admin and players,

I wish that you can only make refits in yards. This would improve the economic cycle.

A refit is made as a ship. But there is a "special" recipe for it. The materials are written down and will not change later when unpacking in the port. There is a fixed final price for this ship. This final price should be equal to the "minimum price" for raw materials and working hours, ie the actual value of production.

Then you sell the refit in a "free port" and receive an additional 1 PvP mark. So a shipbuilder can develop PvP brands without fighting. You can sell unlimited refits to the business. However, a maximum final amount should be set, e.g. 30 pieces.

Players can then buy refit for several PvP brands in the store. You can have unlimited refits - the space is unlimited. You can "unpack" the refit in each port.

Ultimately, this will remove PvP brands from the game. Maybe the prices for server admins should be adjusted regularly. This is the only way to prevent a PvP brand flood in the long term.

Refits should always be a little bit worse than ships in normal sales. This could be regulated with the slots as well as with the wood. Refits represent ships that were built for a need "fast".

addendum:
Maybe it makes sense to introduce a limit for personal ownership of refits. Actually, 3-5 would be enough for each player I think. What do you all mean?

@admin und Spieler,

Was meint Ihr?

You mean the refits ( as we have now in separate ) to be integral part of the crafting mechanic ? As when we go to craft we can select the 3 modules we want to put in crafting and them to be added to the resources needed ? If so, yes. But marginal gains please, like 0.5%, not even 1%

Exactly, refits could then only be created in a shipyard. One does not buy the refits any more over the admiralty but in a business of the "free cities".

The 3 modules can then each use themselves later, after the refit was "unpacked". As with a "normal shipbuilding" too.

The profit should be as zero as possible. Only the 1 PvP mark would be an actual win as well as added XP in craftsmanship.

For clarification:
1. Each shipyard has a menu for "refit construction". There is a firm recipe. Since refits are a "fast-build", the choice of wood species should be limited.

2. When all resources are together, the refit is created. For the creation one receives a money amount. The amount of money includes the cost of the materials (list price) plus a minimum compensation for working hours.

3. A refit can only be sold and bought in a "free city". The refit must now be spent in a "free city". In the "free city" there is the register "Refits" in the shop. There, the shipbuilder sells (exchanges) the created refit for 1 PvP brand.

4. Only by setting in business the refit is unlocked for "unpacking". An exchange from person to person is not possible.

5. Now everyone can buy this refit in the business of the "free city". The PvP brand prices for refits are set by the admins or "playmakers" depending on "inflation".

6. When a refit is purchased, the player unpacks this in his desired port. The ship appears in the materials in which the ship was built and not by "coincidence". Then he can install his "permanent" and "ship knowledge" modules. However, one could consider whether Refits perhaps have a module "ship knowledge" less. This only to promote the "normal shipbuilding" as something excellent. Finally, there are ships in the harbor for which mooring fees have been paid.

7. It would be worth considering

a) that a maximum of 10 refits of the same ship can be offered in a shop.

b) that each player can only have a total of 3-5 refits (5 total and maximum 3 of the same type). Overall, I mean everyone in every outpost and elsewhere.

d) Refits can not be stored or moved to "Klan department stores".

(Unfortunately, I understand English only as well as Google can translate it for me, I hope that this does not lead to misunderstandings, I try to write my sentences so that they are easier to translate.)
