"Modules and Knowledge make ALL my ships OP"

Repeat as much as possible until you actually see why.

Oh DLC frigate ? What is the Hercules if not a cruiser frigate ? *Le Sigh*®

Hercules is 6th rate and i meant proper 5th rate frigate

"proper 5th rate frigate" - And that is... ?

( Herc is a 5th )

Herc is 6th rate only changed too 5th rate after 3 days becouse of buthurt people and this does not make Herc proper 5th rate frigate.

Proper 5th rate frigates are other 5th rate frigates but i would stay away from DLC 24pd frigates so hermione,frigate,pfrigate,....

I always talk present :), so she is a 5th rate, by rig, by number of guns and finally by tonnage. ( and by game rules )

Plus... proper 5th rate... I'd guess the Cherubim is the "standard" then. Should Pirate Frigate be DLC ? After all she can already be redeemed with PvP Marks.

Should ALL ships be obtainable with PvP marks ?

All what mods have to do is make my Fav ship op. If they do it's fine, if not then Nerf the glorious manure out of the other ships but not mods

Im just saying proper 5th rate frigate like hermione would be better DLC ship for testing DLC ship concept while still obtainable by PvP marks.

No PvP mark ships should also be special

Okay. I can do that already. :) Can exchange PvP Marks for L'Hermione in the caribbean server.

Im just saying main advantage of DLC ship should be that ship is free after cooldown ship should not dominate elite ships of her rate

And i'm saying that without mods/books any ship performs within the credible performance envelope, no matter if DLC or not.

Hmmm... only because they can be redeemed out of thin air, right ?

ATM it is the same exact result. High mod values do make all ships "op" ( whatever that means ).

There's no exponent. So, if you want to fly your Bellona ekranoplane, or whatever precious ships you want, you will have to endure the devil modded DLCs.

I think the new ships should have been implemented as redeemable blueprints. So we pay real money for learning a ship BP, then the ship still have to be made by crafting. This way we don't unbalance the need for trading and crafting we already have ingame. The way it works now is bad for the crafting and trading aspects of the game, especially if we start getting more and larger ships as premium ships.

But the upside to the way it works now is that it gives the NA Legend players a way play NA OW.. Because those guys don't like buying shop ships, crafting, trading. So if it stays as it is now it should get a much longer cooldown.  If you have 72 hour cool down or longer, they might stop with the kamikaze attacks..

If you don´t take back mods make all ships "OP" I fear I must make another Post about you spreading fake news on the forums.

There are a bunch of ships that just do not have a chance (because only some ships profit big time from the "good mods" -looking at you elite spanish-) against equal-ish BR ships with equal skill captains with both having best mods and knowledges.

If you prove me wrong with EVIDENCE then I am happy to see interesting stuff. If not please stop generalizing thank you :)

My opinion as well. For sake of the game.

But it's hard to implement, because people buying DLC and finding out later they need a shipyard of proper size and the materials will complain and a good part of them ask their money back. The main purpose of a DLC is bringing new cash into the treasury of devs. Not new problems with nagging customers.

Why can't I quit this game? It's like cocaine, COCAINE!

But yes the redeemable DLC Hercs and Reqs are a broken game feature. I escort three Indiaman in a Buc and I am regularly attacked by both of these ships, both die readily enough, but the fact that they attack is complete idiocy and shows that there are no appreciable consequences for doing so.

I wish we could have another server for Naval Action,  a non ship-DLC server where dlc is added but is just cosmetic flags, paints, sails...

I bought a dlc ship more to support game, but they are destroying more than they give i think. At least in rienforcements make it so if dlc ship attacks then rienforcement is another req, or herc....  mercury's and  navy brigs don't cut the mustard as a deterrent.

Right issue.

Even being an heavy Requin user, I would propose, better after a poll among DLC owners, to convert DLC to permit redeemable. May be with a compensation of an extra 2/3 redeemable full ships.

TBH with fleet exploit all DLC buyers already redeemed a bulkload of ships and I like to think that they will accept the change for sake of game economy balance.

Let the permit to be tradable and on a 48+ hours cooldown redeem and this will give people ready to pay real cash a small ingame revenue (selling ships and/or permit) like in a lot of DLC filled games.

This way far more room for more DLC ship permits without destroying game economy.
