I've just been inspired by @King of Crowns and what his gang did last night.

The devs should create a type of "Treasure Fleet" mission which rewards the sale of items (or it could be based on the amount of currency generated) at an enemies capital within a specified time, starting when the first person in the battlegroup drops it off.

A with B to F forms a battlegroup. Person A picks mission up at Fort Royal (FR) and their mission is to sell 30 Parisian furniture to KPR (they don't have to leave from FR). Only one mission can be taken per nation per 4 hours and it can only be taken within the port battle window (so no running up just before maintenance).

If the mission is completed, the players triple their money, half completed, double. If you fail to complete half then you are not permitted from joining or creating a battlegroup with this mission for a week or two (to prevent people spamming and time wasting. You could always require a cash deposit to take the mission in the first place which they lose if they fail to complete a quarter or half of the order.

This would have two effects, it would give dedicated traders a job within the PvP arena. It'd create player generated events much like port battles but in open sea.

If you wanted to make it extra difficult you could announce in CombatNews "Treasure Fleet due to arrive (you could even say where) within 3 hours". This would allow players to gather etc....

This would create much needed interaction between PvEers and PvPers as well, communication is content! A reason for the nation to work together as well as clans. PvEers would venture outside the zone for trade but do it with a group of PvPers at their back as the PvPers know they're guaranteed action for helping them.

Prior to the wipe I would sail around LT, Navasse and KPR with a loaded Santa Cecilia full of paints, BPs and notes.  Back when speed was not affected.  No one ever did catch me.  I spent hours trying to catch @Pagan Pete back in the day when he would load up the banshee and skit around the coast talking about pyrates on the stream.

Props to the seal clubber-in-chief King of Crowns for creating content.  You are now allowed to use #ContentCreator in your signature.

You're really a whiner, aren't you?  Every post you make is negative and you don't offer solutions.  Do you actually play the game?

A whiner for finding holes in suggestions? Got it :)

Yes i do, but not so often as before.

I can not stop to repeat : It is boring, and if it remains as it is, this project is going to fail.( Well, actually, it is already at the bottom, considering how many stopped playing for same reasons)

About solutions: You grab out the suggestions, given from players already 2 years ago, and look how many of those have been in game, you might change your rookie attitude.

Because if you think, or even worse  hope , that  this project can bring back all these guys which left, you are a dreamer.

Developers want this game to be a pew-pew, and that`s it.

Forget about EVE online in Caribbean ;)

Stop teleporting to capitals, easy solution.

And why risking being sunk then, by taking a mission, where chances to gain something are 50/50?

Foreign trading goods can be sold in each national capital with 200% win...

It's not gonna be the same when economy update drops. Can we really say OW is gonna change when everything is tied to your cargo and you can't just have a 30 million purse on you wherever you go? If you did that'd be one heck of a treasure fleet. How else are you going to bring your wealth back to your ports? It's gonna be interesting how that plays out.

What "economy"? There is no "economy" in NA.

Even "better" if money gets tied to your vargo, so you need to haul money with you all the time. Ruin the game completely. ;)

p.s. this has been discussed, only for few moments, i don`t think it is going to be in game.

It is denomination of gold and pvp marks. Few new goods will be added, which are probably trading goods.Crafting is changed, so less clicking.

I don`t know what you mean now with "economy". There is no economy in NA.
