New Book Fish Collection

Hello,

With the improvements of the rewards of "Sealed Bottle", as well as to give something more useful to the fish, it is proposed to create a new book of skills.

  • Name Example: Fish Collection or Fish Encyclopedia
  • Type: Skill Book

 

This book is produced based on ALL FISH of the game. The necessary quantity, you can indicate you: x5, x10, x50, x100, etc.

For example:

No to this..... Right now we fish free...it doesnt cost us a perm slot, perk (unless you want extra) or knowledge slot. There are already rare fish that pay big money and there is already a consumable use in place that works well.

The fish continues to be free to obtain. The suggestion or proposal is to expand the use of fish, since currently, it is used as "Fish Meat" and in "Food Supplies". The objectives that I see that have add this new book.

 

  1. More value the fish. Anyone (novices and veterans) can fish for free and catch rare fish (if lucky), and sell them at a fixed price at the port. Now you can get more money by selling to another player who needs it.
  2. More knowledge of the types of fish. Now that the developers, wants us to know the different types of boats to see it. Why not also know the different fish that are in the Caribbean, or at least in the game?
  3. Promotes out of safe areas. The different types of fish, in different areas. Both the players who like or do not like the fights, will have to move to different fishing areas, to catch the fish. But you will have to buy it in the market (market price - player)
  4. Useful knowledge. It could be applied as an alternative to the perks, since the player could put it as "Ship Knowledge". For example, if a player plans to move to a distant port, for any reason (pvp, trade, rvr, turist), he can change the option of the ship, before leaving the origin port. So the time spent on navigation, can earn money (if rare fish) or book rewards (if you're lucky with Sealed Bottles).
  5. New content or objectives. Until now, many players, invested a lot of time in playing to get books to get books like "Book of Five Rings" or "Gunnery Encyclopedia". Although for now they were destined for battles. With this book, then those who want (it is optional) can try to achieve a new goal. And as I think it's easy to implement by the developers.

 

Now that I think, you can be right  @Headless Parrot indirectly in one thing. What is in the application of this, since the idea is to use it in the open world. And if it is put in Ship Knowledge, it only applies in battles and not in the open world. Maybe, the proposal should be to create other slots for the open world?
