1) This will increase fear of combat, so it will increase fleeing from any enemy rather than fighting them.

2) will you at least able to see the names of the players of your own faction?

3) this will make impossible any alliance among clans in different factions (is it work as intended?)

One issue i see coming: Clans taking ports in the weekend to drop them after monday. More VM without timer costs due to cooldown....

What. Oh come on this isnt a good idea, we need a toggle or the ability to see other players because of clan alliances.

Looks like clans shouldn't hold a metric shit ton of ports unless they are willing to grind the gold for them.

Sounds good can't wait to to test and see how it goes.

 

Only part i don't fully understand is...

  • Tow to port now creates a PB entry timer. Timer is the same as the PB timer created after normal battles.

What does that mean? It' totally confused me.

Until now you could tow to port (from open world, the button which is intented to be used when you get stuck) to teleport to a PB and instantly join. This way you could surpass screening.

Now you can still teleport but have to wait 3 mins or so until you can join PBs, so screening can tag you.

Doesnt spain already make a loss of 100 million gold per week? Now half a billion. Pve hard or drop useless ports, gotta make a decision now :D

I like this. Instead of 5 clans owning 80% of the map with mothballed ports, smaller clans can actually use the ports.

It will be funny to hear how the attackers will describe the defenders' ships when they immediately exit from port.

Agree, it's verry stupid. VLTRA is owning 50% of the map, and 40% of their ports are dead lol.

The day you realise active pvp pushes your nation foward is the day your nation starts to grow in strength and numbers

I'm not dutch, I'm spanish.

Talking too much and too early is not a wise choice.

Can be abused I can just keep a low rank char and only hunt that area in safety if you do that.  Believe me I killed a number of full rank chars with my low level alts in games before including this one.

Look at cartagena. 3millions per day. So the clan owner could only afford to sustain 6 ports with timers.

Look at Esteros either Little Harbour. 800k today, so they will be able to sustain 2 ports with timers.

 

Do you understand devs the great amount of salt and drama this will cause on the server? The effort of many nations during many months just destroyed in one patch.

Maybe the ports price should scale depending on it's profits.   Cart port is 500K a day but some random port that doesn't pay for it's upkeep should be 100K.   That are just limit clans to only be able to set timers to up to 10 ports.  500K is going to kill the little clans that might just own one or two ports and make little profit from them.  We shouldn't punish a small clan that holds one port in a timer that they can only defend in.

That are make it step up according to the type of port.  Cart and the Copper ports 500K.   High income ports 250K all other ports 100K.  Or like you said move more reseources out to these ports and have none in safe zones.

But it also kills the small clans that can only defend in one time zones.  How many ports does WO have?  Are ya'll going to be paying 500K a day to keep them in your best time slot to defend?  500K a day adds up real fast even for one port.
