Gregory Rainsborough
As we know there aren't any events to trigger fleets scrambling out of harbour but I have a small suggestion that would perhaps create it. Have shipwrecks appear like they do with the chests but make it so that only 1st rates can pick them up. That way large ships would sail out to pick up the deadman's chest and would mostly likely have several escorts.

Spitfire83
Would prefer treasure fleet idea. Say 2 Indiaman carrying x amount of chests protected by x amount of 1st and 2nd rates and whatever else if trader sinks so does loot. Ai would have to not be so derpey though and actively protect indiamen so maybe requires to much work for dev team... This would require your fleet to consist of trader to loot chests some 1st or 2nd rates and maybe some frigates it would be nice if enemy fleet could target our traders to make protecting our traders important also.... ONE CAN BUT DREAM! Edited March 7, 2018 by Spitfire83
