PvP desperately needs fixing

If you want PVP and open world - in other words if you want a MMO - then you need PVE. Only MOBAs survive with only PVP.

Just because you haven't played an MMO without PVE doesn't mean they don't exist.

The only one that I know it's Mortal online. And well ... it's not a nice game to play (not mentioning the toxic community).

The headline "pvp needs fixing" has nothing to do with pve.

Most players that like pvp do not like to grind for a week or two to get into a large battle.

So what to do about this IF the pvp server should still be online that is. Many players go to pvp server but hate the idea of a world with many battles in it...

As is. PvP server is not for pvp customers.

I guess that is why major PVP clans across nations routinely team up to stomp on smaller clans with far less PVP experience.
Oh my bad. it's because they... you know it.

Yeah, it's because - as I wrote it - PvPers don't have incentives to fight equal enemies. They have incentives to fight weaker enemies. They also don't have tools to find each other easily (PB is not easy, it takes time, diplomacy and planning).

@victor you write that PvP'ers need PvP'ers... For what exactly? I don't see a need for PvE'rs within my whole clan of 20+ people. There are even some PvE'rs in our clan, however they're not contributing to PvP in any significant way.

bit offtopic question

Many refits and books are not available through pvp marks.

Given the drops are random, how many OW attacks or Epic missions do the PvPers do to get them ?

Wondering on the pvp / pve balance here.

Are epic missions curated pvp? I thought it was groups against super bots?

Yeah they are. Hence I am asking the hardcore pvpers how to get all the super janky stuff other than pve'ing hardcore as well ( given it is random drop ) or exchanging pvp marks for the good stuff. There's a break in the line of pvp propaganda speech.

IMO, evenly-matched battles should be encouraged more. There are multiple ways to do this that have been suggested numerous times.

PvP is usually easy for me to find, it is just a matter of both sides agreeing to the battle...

I still don't understand the comment regarding PvP propaganda.

Answering to your question - sure, I gained those books through PvE grind and book-book trade - something that is imposed on PvP'ers. Without books, you're in a disadvantage.

Introducing new combo books will just complicate the situation more for new players who would want to enter PvP world. It took me 6 months to get all the combo books. For many players this is how long you have to be in a disadvantage in PvP world.

I say before we think about tieing the economy to the players, we need to think about if there are enough players to support the economy continuously to thus encourage reason to pvp.

Finding a ai venture is far easier than finding player ventures, and there easier to board, and not escorted, and cant radio for help. Thus is far more profitable, save for pvp marks.
