The Danes attacked from upwind. The Swedes made a dual line just above half wind, turned that line by 180 degrees to engage when the enemy came into shooting distance. The Danes used a loose group formation while piercing us. The Danes pierced our lines and we engaged into brawling. Fighting was side by side going downwind, until both teams entered the first circle. One fireship was used on the Danish side, but was not able to explode because we concentrate our fire on it and it sank before exploding. Tho Swedes made an early kill on that fireship, the battle stayed undecided for about an hour, until the Swedes started to capitalize on powerplay, having less losses due to covering damaged ships better. After that the match was decided pretty swiftly and many Danes got sunk in a short timeframe. Swedes lost one victory to boarding, one victory to an explosion right after boarding (that one was capped back)Β and a VictoryΒ & Santi by broadside damage. Danes lost two Oceans to fireshipping,Β one to boarding and 9 oceans & 1 Bellona to broadsiding. It was an excellent match, we salute the Danes to Show up in full force and they did pretty well for having lost that many of their A-team.
