We opened forward operating bases [FOBs] getting the right ships needed for the different roles. This for grinding hostility or in the BATTLE itself or for screening the right ships to get to the PORT. REPAIR KITs stockpiled and checked. The battle plan and calculating the wind direction. Then what to do when the battle finishes win loses or draw…? The PORT BATTLE is one of the most exciting parts of NAVAL ACTION and comes with many different skills to make them work. Team work and for a short space of time one of the most action pack events you’ll see on an MMO if done correctly. When we started last month 28th August 11 Brits took on 17 Pirates. We don’t run or hide so it turned into a brawl. Read @Sir Texas Sir Port Battle Reports in “[PvP Global] Political Situation and Port Battles” for some good details. We lost that time… Sunday 3rd September [ELITE] now with her big brother [ARMED] joined the fight. There were several clashes prior to the Battle. The Battle itself… with some Heroic actions by Captains of both Nations even the famous @Jeheil (from YouTUBE ) redefined the term going down fighting in an epic display. I also spotted Dave the Spaniard trying to gank damage vessels or screeners outside in the local area… and then the running Battles all the way to Cayman Brac POST finish. We took the Pirates literally down to the wire with the timer running out… so close That Battle was 18 v 22 inside and I’ve no idea outside… this weekend it will be bigger. If you are in the Pirate Nation or GB Nation and have never done a Port Battle before come and give it a go. Pirates see @Duncan McFail or @Sir Texas Sir both [BLACK] and for GB Nation @Rebrall or @Sir Ballard / oo7 from [ARMED]. No need to join the clans to take part and we all have TeamSpeak… You come along and you’ll be hooked. So, the THIRD port battle is set. You can find out what time by looking at the map and hover the mouse over George Town. It should say at the bottom of the pop-up Port Battle 09/09/2017 10:31 Server Time. Might as well break it down so you know when it will be in your time zone. Server Time means UTC time. You can see a Hyperlink at the top of the table. Now just go down the UTC column to 10:00 and read off the different world time zones. To be "rudely introduced" in this context means surprised. This probably means that this was his first indication that you CCCP were a force to be reckoned with on the server.
