How to safely do missions (Alt needed)

Recommended Posts

1. Log in your alt account

2. Grab a mission with your alt account.

3. Make your Main account ready to do that mission.

4. start the mission with alt.

5. sail to that mission with your main

6. jump into the mission with your main account in the last 10 seconds possible.

7. enjoy a safe mission.

Easier:

1. Grab mission with main and join

2. Sail away in mission

3. Wait 3 minutes

4. Do mission after

1. By "sail away in mission" are you sailing until "Battle over" appears or sailing away from enemy without being tagged for 3 minutes while still being persued? While waiting 3 minutes, are you in or out of the mission.

2. If you are still in the mission, what has changed to give you a "safe" Mission? If you are out of the mission, how do you get back in?

when you join your mission, turn 180 when you spawn and sail for 3 mins. if no player joined the battle, then do another 180, and charge the ai as a normal mission.

The way I showed up here is a typical alt abuse with a absolutely safety of not getting jumped, the way you showed is the legitimate way where you can still get caught inside the mission (did it myself, first rates don't sail that far in 3 mins)

this is a safer and simpler way
bots chase you so you can sail away from spawn points in any direction and be on exit timer when battles closes just in case someone enters.

A even more safer way is:

1. Take a mission at your capital

2. Cancel the mission as long it doesn't spawn in the safe zone

3. Enter the highest rank mission in your safe zone.

4. Enjoy pve

If this a safety way, then: Why the game dont close missions immediately to prevent the need to waste 3 minutes of game time. In addition that would make the hated mission jumpings impossible.

Mix immediate close with "with rank and rate comes duty" of going to station.

Closed immediately, swords disappear immediately ? Missions to spawn, progressively by rank/rate choice, to stations further away from a Naval Base.

Let's see, in a comical history and geographic reference, La Rochelle, Brest, and similar "mission spots" were not in the green circle of Portsmouth, correct ? Seems to me Flag Captain and associated Captains in squadron had their missions assigned appropriately back in the day according to their rank and rates used. With the brigs and similar vessels operating on the Dunkirk area.

I never understand why people get worked up about others doing this. The people that do this are not looking for PvP they are looking to do PvE. If you force them to go out to an area that they could get jumped in their mission then they get upset when it does happen. All that achieves is chase them from the game.

You have to encourage people to go out and PvP not force them to do it. Making people that want to PvE go out so they are targets for PvP'ers is not the way the game should be going. Make the rewards better for PvP or give some other encouragement for people to risk PvP.

I personally think all the capital regions should be non-PvP zones where new players can learn the game and do missions in peace for the first 3 or 4 ranks. Missions higher than that should not give XP or rewards, so people can use them for practice but not be able to farm them.

because it is a pvp server which means joining this server you are required to be food as much as everyone else

Does not work for pirates btw. You can jump into their missions eventhough they are in greenzone.

That is where most PvP games fail, the PvP'ers prefer to prey on PvE'ers rather than face other like minded people. If these people dont want PvP at the time and it is forced on them then they leave the game so in the end you still dont get your easy prey. Just let them do their PvE as long as it does not have a big impact on the economy or other aspects of the game, and then encourage them to dip their toe in the PvP waters. If these people are on another server then there is no chance of them trying PvP.

Other nations can jump missions of the enemy even though they are in greenzone as well :)
