Patch 10.3 - New event, PvP marks changes, changes to knowledge slots and other fixes

It's fairly self explanatory, you just get double the combat marks for PVP as opposed to PVE. PVP'er rage inbound...

sure. because time consumed for sailing(there is no teleport anymore) time consumed for "fishing" and after the risk put into this activity doesn't COMPARE to the carebearing into own greenzone.

I was under the impression PVP was it's own reward, good sir.

The grind wasn't hard. It was just long. Doing unchallenging things over and over and over again doesn't make it hard.

rather ... since I read carefully, the wording used in the patch notes does not make clear if it is only for the marks dropping in the future or also for the already existing ones.

So basically, the question is legitimate and you can refrain from your smart comments.

I am looking only for the FAIR replacement in case when I die. pvp marks ware worth much more, I could sell them and reimburse my lost ship. Now i doubt.

Overall great patch.

 

 

 PVP mark exchange ratio seems a bit ridiculous. PvE grind is so easier and faster. Now quest for pvpmarks is gone, i think we will go back to empty ow and even more pve.

 If pve marks are converted in combat marks, i hope you tuned the admiralty shop prices or everyone will buy tons of bow gazelle & permits etc..

 

Tree grinding for knowledges slots deletion was soo obvious it makes me laugh. It's great ofc, but i think sinking should gives negatives knowledge xp. So knowledges are not just a one time grind and we keep the possibility to meet diverse quality ships even later in the server..

I read this...

...to mean that there will be a redeemable we can use for conversions.

This is a very good patch.

PvP marks were impossible to come by for some, and easy for others. leading to entrenched superiority. however, I think earnings for PvP should be more like 5:1, because it takes a lot longer to find/organise a PvP fight. so this will encourage PvE grinding in preference to PvP. I think you need to reverse that, and make PvP worth looking for.

 

Thank GOD you got rid of the world of tanks style grinding tree thing. it was awful and just designed for force people into endless boring missions and stop them doing literally anything else in game.

but that's only for PVP marks, and that's why I'm asking about what happens with PVE marks

Like it. At least the loss of your whole crew should definitely result in negative ship xp.

Hmm I think pvp marks should have been kept on pvp servers (but with adjustments), used for cosmetics such as paints (/ title tag / pennants / ...)

1:2 ratio seems a bit off, looking at how long it can take to find pvp compared to Complete a mission

Awesome patch!! Great job guys!! All you need now is a patch that adds "balls" to the big nations in global so that they fight each other and make the server interesting.

Good new things added to the game not sure how this delete of npcs selling ships will be... Anyway now you  just need to delete Conquest marks cause they dont make any sense, and bring back teleport to free towns, so we dont have to travel doing nothing for  2 hours trying to find some pvp combat. Some of us don't have that huge amount of time to travel around for  hours and hours, not to mention it's boring.

Overall very good. But I would suggest to furthermore increase mark AND xp/gold gain from PvP.

Probably adjust mark prices for permits as well, to not make most of the ships too common. You can get 20 marks an hour from fleet missions easily.
