Tweaks/Adjustments needed Please

Its been awhile since Wipe/Patch and as per needed...time and adjusting by players was needed to get a feel for the changes and challenges.

Many have been part of the Early access and we have been spoiled by the ease of some mechanics early on in the game, now things have gotten tougher Post wipe, some for the good and some..hmmmmmmm not so goon in my opinion only.

Just a few ideas:

1) Need 2 Dura ships to 4th Rates, 3rd Rates to 1st Rates remain 1 Dura

The 1 Dura is a good idea in respects to making you feel the loss when you lose a ship, but this in combination with the costs and time now to even replace a 6th Rate has gotten some or even many feel (just watch ingame chat and read forums) that this is too extreme, to put in lightly.  This has caused PvP to fall off due to players having to go back grinding and or not wanting to commit to PvP due to a possible loss and the time/grinding needed later.

By making 4th Rates and higher 2 Dura it will allow some peace of mind on PvP and and the loss possibly incurred, most players are in 4th Rates and lower so this should also help in those respects. Keep the 3rd Rates to 1st Rates 1 Dura ....doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out :)

 

2) Bring Back deliveries, atleast  give us 2 max or something a day, this can still put us in those Trade ships but also help cut down on some of the long trade hauls we have to do, seriously it has turned into a fishing game as I cruise along in my traders :)

 

3) Another Building slot or two would be greatly appreciated , only because of the extra burdens put on crafter in terms of resources/buildings, yes people say join a clan and work together, what if clanmates go bye bye for a while...just saying  :)

 

Currently other than the issues on Conquest mechanics I think maybe this could help some...or ease some of the pain, 1 Dura all around good idea at time but the other changes have hurt it overall. Deliveries can take some burden off to allow us to get into some PvP, Building slot addition nothing but good there all around.

Disagree with all.  for none of them improve on any of the flaws currently within the game.

 

Improvements to Pvp/Conquest is needed.  adding more dura is not the answer.  making ships cheaper to outfit is.

 

deliveries would only reduce the privateering.  all I need is one or two trade runs to get my econ done each day.  you'd never see me in a trader.

 

5 isn't enough?  I don't know how this would help, but would make people need to trade less that's for sure.

I would love to see buy orders in other ports.  That way If I have goods in the port I'm crafting that others need in another port I can take it there and make some money if I have an over stock.  Right now you have to go from port to port to see what folks ant.   For the DUR thing I think it's fine, but they need to lower the cost of 6/7th rates cost to produce to help new players our.  Right not the cost for those ships is to high.  The PvP rewards need to be balanced better compared to the PvE rewards and rewards in groups.  Right now it's more effective to run solo missions that to go group PvP or PvE. As for production buildings, one thing that will help new players is like the first out post have the first building slot free to craft.  They could later do a tutorial that shows them how to set up a mine and such.  Same with setting up your first Outpost beyound your capital.  Capital port should all ways be free and shouldn't count towards your max ports.  Ship dock space is still to high to expand.  Most of us are running out of docks pretty early. Make if worse if you are a crafter trying to craft several ships at once.

1.There will be no MORE PvP than before this wipe, if you make more durabilities on certain ships.

Best proof is,that situation which we had BEFORE the wipe.There was no more PvP than now.

2. To achieve exactly what with DELIVERIES? The point is, you probably did not notice, it was on purpose making trading goods quantities smaller, so you don`t have to rely on them as a steady income.

Making money is still easy, you just need to use your brain cells.

3. Why more slots for buildings? To extract MORE raw materials you just need MORE money and LHs.
