Increase Market Diversity and Prices

Right now the Price Differences are pretty much non Existent.

An Port Producing Wares will still not really Sell these Cheap.

And Ports even if they Consume Wares do not Buy them at really much higher Prices.

 

Thanks to that just finding Routes that Gain Money is already pretty hard.

But even if you do the Gain from it is not really making it worth the Time it takes to Travel the Vast Distances between the Ports.

 

 

Thanks to this Selling Materials to Ports is entirely Meaningless currently.

Generally doing Missions and Simply Buying stuff you need for Crafting. And then Crafting Upgrades or Ships. is not only giving 10 times more Experience. It also gives 10 times the Money of Material Supplier and Trading.

 

Thanks to this hardly anyone actually Trades or Hauls stuff except for himself or in Clans.

 

 

 

 

We need to Create some Profitable Ways to Create Materials.

Otherwise there will never be any Economy aside from Clan Internal Shipping

The current system is temporary, as the eco moves towards 100% player-based slowly.

 

That will never Happen with the Current Economy.

Because current Economy will Simply end with Clans Producing their own Stuff and Nobody Selling or Buying anything.

 

 

Just to make an Example.

Producing Iron Ore from an Mine in a Port that Produces Iron Ore.

Costs 234 for 3 Pieces.

Thats 78 Gold per Piece.

Now. The Selling Price in a Port which Consumes Iron Ore. Is only 81 Gold.

 

Nobody will ever Sell Iron Ore this Way.

Because Clans will just Produce their own nobody will Buy it from Others. 

 

 

 

If things stay this way.

We wont have any Economy.

We will only have Clans Producing their own Stuff for Crafters.

 

While Trade will not Happen at all.

This will mean that aside from Clan Crafters nobody will actually Haul any Stuff around at all.

I am sure there is plenty of players who just sell what they produce. I am more concerned about the purpose in having multiple ports. Now every nation needs only 1 port of each production type to keep the resources income at maximum level. So, why should we care about ports?

Oh my gawd no-one thought of this before!

 

Sigh.

 

It's a temporary system that will be tweaked and adjusted as need be. Let's wait more than a week before we cry doom, ok?

 

Problems should be Fixed as fast as its possible to fix them.

The longer this Problem persists the more damage it will do.

 

Even now the Economy is pretty much not existing because of this.

Clans are simply Producing and Buying the Materials with Gold from Missions.

Trade Transports are Non Existent.

And alot of People are Selling Crafted Stuff at Ressource Price because everyone knows that the Material and Ressources System is entirely Decoupled from Money anyways.

Well if they Do they are very very veeeery ah well lets leave it at that.

Because Selling it to NPC Town is actually not yielding any profit at all.

Your lucky if your not making negative earning this way lol

 

Selling it to other Players is Meaningless as well because everyone just Builds his own Stuff to Produce Ressources or Produces it at the Clan.

 

 

And well.

Gladly enough People will Capture Harbors merely for the Purpose of Capturing it.

Something we are Missing would be Winning Conditions or something and Better Rewards for Capturing and Holding Ports.

 

For example having more Ports of the same Ressource could make Production of that Ressource Cheaper etc.

But well other Story.
