  1. Volunteers for His Majesty’s Royal Danish-Norwegian Navy Ahoy Captains! This is for PVE recrutment. To all there are sailing under the flag of Denmark-Norway. Our Royal Danish-Norwegian Navy we hope you will sign up with us. We are now 47 members, we help each other as much as it is possible. [RDNN] - The Royal Danish-Norwegian Navy, a company of brave sailors flying the white cross, is recruiting. We want all able captains and friendly sea creatures to join our ranks. When you join you will find we are a social group and you will find brothers in arms as well as good friends. Players seeking to join the ranks of RDNN are expected to be team-players, good-spirited and able to listen to orders when needed. You are expected to be gallant in victory as well as in defeat. We have a ship building system to provide all our members with ships and outfitting for Fleet battles and Fleet hunting, and every member is expected to contribute with materials and labour hours. We have multiple level 50 crafters in our clan, holding every blueprint, so our members have opportunity to have built every ship they wish to set sail in RDNN is always to be found at the front lines, always looking for good battles and to help protect our nation’s borders. We have a cooperative playstyle and work closely with other clans playing for Denmark-Norway, spanning multiple nationalities and languages. Where others struggle with language barriers, we succeed. Our cooperative spirit ensures that together with our allies we form one of the most accomplished fleets in these Caribbean waters. If you think RDNN might be a group that fits your playstyle, don’t hesitate to contact myself or one of our other recruitment officers in-game or here on the forum. You can come on our TeamSpeak to learn more about us and sail with us to make up your mind. If you come from another nation, we will help you out with the transfer of ships and goods. We also do clan mergers. To join RDNN as a full member it is necessary to be of rank Kadet or above. Special considerations can be made for players who prove their dedication or show particular aptitude. All sailors of all ranks are welcomed to join our TeamSpeak and play together with us until they are accepted into our clan. We will help you with learning the game mechanics, increasing your rank, finding fights and acquiring a fitting vessel. We are an international clan with members from all over the world and English is our primary language for communication. Members of RDNN are required to use TeamSpeak when participating in group events where orders and coordination are necessary components. We respect that players are different in their desire to communicate, and we do not strictly require that you talk a lot, so long as you are able to listen when instructions are given. We look forward to sailing by your side. May the winds blow in your favour.

  4. In light of the recent popping up of several Naval Action Newspapers for PvP Europe, I decided to make a special pre-wipe issue of The St. Croix Royal Gazette, which I've been working on since the wipe announcement:
  5. At the battle for Bermuda there were no less than 2 alts attempting to grief the PB fleets. One succeeded. Please investigate and punish these two accounts for alt abuse: brightlight [NAP]MorgotHola With our scouts we managed to pick up the first one and then screen him out of the port battle ourselves. The second one we were unaware of and he managed to join the Port Battle from far away only to sail into the fort fire and get killed. Both accounts are low level. One is French, the other Spanish. Both were in Mortar brigs. Both pretended like noobs but are clearly players with some experience with the game. We contacted devs with our suspicions about the French account prior to the PB. The case against brightlight: The player was 1 day old at the time of the PB. It was created after the Port Battle for Bermuda was even generated… No player sails all the way to Bermuda on his second day - in a mortar brig. Please also look into who traded him the Mortar Brig or any gold he spent to buy it. The player was spotted sailing up earlier in the day. The player sailed to the south of the port and logged off near the edge of the circle, showing forethought and malice, by indicating knowledge of the PB system, PB entry and PB layout that no 1 day old player would have. The player was told not to enter the port battle, and answered in the affirmative. Since we obviously didn’t trust his word, we dispatched a screener of our own to keep brightlight from sabotaging the PB. Just as the PB started he entered open world. This screenshot is from ca. 1:30 minute after the PB started when he was caught into battle, right before he would have been able to enter the PB. (original picture with timestamp can be submitted to devs if necessary) The case against MargotHola: MargotHola is another low level player who decided to make the sail all the way from La Habana to Bermuda to sabotage a PB. He was one of the first players to join the PB, despite us joining immediately when the 2 minute timer was up. I use a stop watch to time our entry to Port Battles, so the alt must have been sitting in OW, ready to enter the PB as soon as it was open to anyone without hostility, and intent on clicking fast to be able to get into the PB. The alt joined really far away from the port, in an illogical spot, and he sailed into the fort fire to get killed by it later in the battle. The alt ignored requests to come on Teamspeak, but answered some messages in game-chat. He told that there had been a request in chat for a mortar brig to Bermuda - an obvious lie. He also makes basic grammar mistakes in his answers indicating that he is probably using Google Translate in order to answer only in Spanish. Video of the battle: (comments about the alts on teamspeak during battle should be ignored as made in affect, I take it for granted that the enemy port battle fleet was unaware and unconnected to the sabotage)
  6. Oxford Dictionary As per the tribunal rules outlined in the topic, griefing is a tribunal offence. Charge: Players from the US nation has repeatedly and intentionally been raising hostility in the region of Georgia with the explicit intention of setting port battles at times that for the defenders, danish players, are in the middle of the night on weekdays. This is intended to force Danish defenders to stay up for what is for us the middle of the night and mount a defense The US players then do not show up to the attack, or shows up in a very small number of fast ships with the express intention of wasting the time of the entire defensive force. This is textbook griefing. It is an intentional waste of other players time and an intentional sabotage of the game. With accompanying mockery and harassment in the battle chat and global chat. It causes great dissatisfaction amongst the defenders who have to stay up to mount a defense and yet do not get a fight, wasting hours of their time for nothing. This charge and proof addresses specifically the port "battle" that happened in Savannah on January the 11th. Proof of intention: Only four players showed up to the beginning of the fight, in fast ships to run away and waste our time. There was no screening mounted outside by the defenders that could explain the absence of more attackers. No attempt was ever made in the course of the battle by the attackers to fight or get any points. They were running away from the beginning, but refusing to leave the battle to let it end, wasting more time.

  9. On behalf of the nation of Danmark-Norge, the Royal Danish-Norwegian Navy [RDNN] announces the launch of its national Teamspeak server. Any and all captains sailing under the white cross is welcome to join the server and get access. All Danish clans are invited to join, regardless of their stance towards the National Danish-Norwegian Council and any participation in the meta-game. The National Teamspeak is an offer to all Dane sailors, whether they are members of a clan or not. Independent players, privateers (kapere), have their own rooms and their access will enable them to participate in nation events alongside clan players. We have dedicated War Rooms for organising PvP and RvR in cooperation between clans and players of all creeds. To get access and dedicated channels for their clan, Clan Leaders should register on the website and go ahead to this forum and make a post. More information about the server is to be found here: danmarknorge.org/teamspeak Jump on the Teamspeak Server here: ts3server://na.danmarknorge.org Diplomats and representatives of other nations are invited to come on our TS to be granted access to our diplomatic channels, and communicate with our Ambassadors. (The Teamspeak server was created with the Danmark-Norge population on PvP1EU in mind, but should there be a request for it an expansion to include Danish-Norwegian players from PvP2 can be done.)
  10. [CN] is a clan under the flag of Danmark-Norge who has suffered most severe issue of player loss during the past two months. We are probably the last one standing at the gate of Christiansted. 11. This post is to be used a reference to the Declaration agreed upon by French clans ([LBORK][LMN][OMG][PURGE]) in PVP2 involving the Sverige, Danmark-Norge, and France Nations. We talked to the Sverige and Danmark-Norges separately about their goals, and this is the product of our discussions. The French Nation (herein referred to as "we"), will not take any additional ports in the region spanning between the Freetown of Vieques, and Plymouth. We shall not interfere with Sverige or Danmark-Norge players while either of the aforementioned nations have an active conquest flag. We can, and will engage in PVP around the area if we so choose, but not to the extent of harassment. Any French-held ports marked in YELLOW (See Figure 1) can be attacked by either the Danmark-Norge or Sverige Nations, without interference from [LBORK], [LMN], [OMG], and [PURGE]. Declaration is void if Sverige or Danmark-Norge attack Frederiksted or Fajardo, respectively. (Each contains Stone and Silver, which are essential to each nation's shipbuilding efforts). Declaration is void if Sverige or Danmark-Norge attack "Protected French Ports" (See Figure 1). Figure 1:
